This car is soooo heavy. In the front crash the mobile deformable barrier not also stops but it's been pushed backwards violently because of all that inertia
In literally every other crash test the same thing happens. Even in the crash test with the 2 series active tourer it does it and the weight of that is around 1,500kg
I miss your extra text to explain whay is something good or bad... What do impacts from 2:00 until 2:12 tell us? Is it good or bad... Oh, and what is with the 2:28... Car stops 5 meters in front of the pedestrian and block the road? Is this safe? I don't think so.
2:00 to 2:12 simulate pedestrian impacts. A human head hitting the hood and windshield or the front bumper hitting the legs of a pedestrian crossing a street.
I still don't understand why to this day Euro NCAP refuses to perform small-overlap crash tests and yet it is one of the most lethal crashes that happen frequently all across Europe. And don't even try to make excuses, since Volvo managed a good performance already in 2002 with the XC90. There are plenty of unsafe cars in our roads, even models after 2010 that performed with a good rating on a not so demanding 50% moderate overlap, yet have a dangerously unstable structure that can't cope with oncoming vehicles of the same caractheristics on a 25% match. Update the weight on the mobile barrier (side impact) with the average electric vehicle. Ideally should be with an SUV for the worst case scenario, it's not like they're not everywhere. These tests keep giving people fake confidence on their cars, which in turn might be counterintuitive. For anyone looking for how tests should be done correctly, take a look at the reports from the IIHS website. Thank you for the data, nontheless.
Bitte auch noch Kamera in Boden und bitte keine Hintergrundmusik bei den entsprechenden brems oder FahrgeräuscheN; sonst siehts so aus als einer irgendwie ne stop in motion animation hochgeladen hat
Crazy how bad the safety assists are compared to the recent Tesla Model Y test with Vision-only. Wow, actually pretty surprised considering how much sensors Mercedes has put in the car.
Please explain how they are bad? The EQE aced all the tests but the last one and that was likely more because of physics since the huge mass could not be stopped in time. The impact was still reduced significantly, so while not optimal still far from bad.
This car is a prime example of crash tests being too easy. A lot of cheap cars are made to score 5 stars on artificial tests but it's a question how they'd behave in faster crashes. With this one there's no doubt though that it would do very well on much higher speeds and much harder tests. The only thing worse than crashing into one of these with your car is having to look at it before you crash into it becuase of how ugly it is.
i think a car like this you could literally walk away from a 50kph crash so even a 70-80 kph crash you would do pretty well i think they should increase the speeds tho
that pole test, WOW!!
Cause of full battery
@@tolgasoysal8342 hahahahahahah it dosent matter that the battary is full xD hahahahaha
@@CrysisDa yes idiot yes, whole bottom completeley covered with battery.
I think pole test is the best among entire crash tests. Amazing.
check Tesla
Not surprised, Tesla got ranked over Mercedes…….
Check NIO
@unknownember7889 only model y, by 1% which is meaningless. in the realworld this car would be safer as it has stiffer structure with heavier weight
This car is too solid
Holy shit, not even the windshield shattered during that pole test. Amazing!
I got heavily rear ended on the highway in my eqe and I believe if I didnt had this car I certainly wouldn't be here anymore.
Most impressive side pole test I've ever seen.
check Tesla
RIP crash test equipment lol
I think the crash equipment suffer more damage than the car

Dude do you know how physics work
Haha hahaha I feel like Sheldon Cooper here. A LITTLE PHYSICS?! OH GOSH.
That side impact test.
Wow.
Привет я смотрю вас 6 лет!!! Вы проверяди мои любимые машины и доказывали безопасность спасибо вам с уважением
How long does it take for these crash tests to be done?
1 second.
Okay pawel. Now go back to worurl and steal German cars in Germany
2:43 The cyclist 🤣
Eff off poor people lmfao
Scuffed Tour de France
Other cars on the pole test - bends in half like a tin can.
EQE - "tis just a scratch"

Oh, and what is with the 2:28... Car stops 5 meters in front of the pedestrian and block the road? Is this safe? I don't think so.
If you can read, you can download a written PDF report which is linked under this film.
And hit a pedestrian, it's safe ?
2:00 to 2:12 simulate pedestrian impacts. A human head hitting the hood and windshield or the front bumper hitting the legs of a pedestrian crossing a street.
Wow, that air bag between driver and passenger protects both from side crashes, like BYD Otto 3 , also NCAP 5 stars, but 4 times cheaper
tesla model y has it too
@@niels9663 with the price people pay, it has to
It's called Mittenairbag and the c class has it too you noob
But when you buy a BYD, you end up with a BYD.
@@Timico1000 yes just like whe you buy a tesla, you end up with a tesla. right ? Hyundai Veloster fanboy
🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 The safety Mercedes in the world
Those front seats look very wobbly

mercedes has made a overlap crash test with 2 EV SUV's
Can you Make a crash test with a new nissan X-trail with IPHONE 14 with Crash Detection
some color correction would’ve been nice. do you guys need a new intern? 😋
Test for Renault Clio 5 2019 update and test for Fiat panda 2018 update please

Please can you test the MG 4? Thanks :)
The first test shows clearly how heavy the car is lol... And rip cyclist.
pole test = volkswagen ıd.3 / EQE
Morreu os carros 😔😭
