Your caring way of commenting makes your videos great! You show, try, think through out loud what you are doing and we learn as you do. Trying and having prints that are good, not so "exciting" gives others permission to keep creating. One recommendation: Your plate seems yellow underneath though it is not. Keep showing the Gelli plate BEFORE you do anything at all. Thank you Lisbeth.
Thank you, my plat is about 8-9 years old and it is yellow and that will not ever disappear. I think it became yellow after using alcohol inks on it. It works perfect anyhow. And your welcome
Thank you so very much for sharing! I have learned so much from you. I could listen to you for hours!
Thank you and I am glad to hear that.
Thank you for offering clear instruction!
You’re welcome
You made some gorgeous prints today! Love all of your fancy yarns, so beautiful!💕🇨🇦
Thank you
Good evening from a cold Cape Town.
Very beautiful and interesting. You are the first one who inspires me to try Gelli printing. I found the bought stencils so boring, but his puts an individual take on the printing. Thank you and keep creating your beautiful art.
Thank you and there are so many other ways to mark in the paint for the plate than using stencils. Look at the playlist with gel printing techniques
Great ideas!
Thank you
so exciting! i much prefer these organic and very original-to-you patterns than the patterns you'd get from stencils. these are wonderful! can't wait to try my own strings and twine and yarns (as soon as the gel plate i ordered arrives :)
Thank you, and good luck with your new plate, I t can be quite addictive 😉
Thank you so much for a beautiful inspiring time.❤
You’re welcome
I very much enjoyed this video ! Your prints turned out great! I'm going to dig up some thread and yarn and give it a go! Looking forward to more!
Thank you
thank. you
I, too, have lovely yarns from my crafting, and fabric, lace, etc from sewing, you have inspired me to experiment. You are very talented.
Thank you and go for it.
Fabulous 🎉
Thank you
Lisbeth, so beautiful your prints and wonderful ideas ..... Love it !!! Can't wait to see the collages that you will make of it..... 👏👏👏👏❣️ Thank you so much to share your artwork with us ❤

Wonderful!
Thank you
Loved this! Very original and some lovely prints🌸
Thank you
I always see small balls of yarn at the thrift shops… I will have to pick a few up and try this. Thank you for sharing!
You’re welcome
Thank YOU Lesbeth Digne for sharing your skills. All the prints are exquisite and really interesting . 👌‼️💐Toom@CapeTown
Thanks and you’re welcome
Thanks for sharing your yarn and thread techniques. I sometimes see inexpensive yarns in thrift stores. Now I’m going to purchase some and try them out.
You’re welcome, it always good to search at thrift stores, you newer know what interesting things you will find.
I always wondered if you worked in textiles or art - a knit design shop makes perfect sense (you always wear a sweater :D). Those yarns are so beautiful, I’ve never seen or heard of most of them. How fun it must have been to look at them every day. It sure was fun watching you make these prints with them. I’ll be more aware of things I can try on the gelli plate thanks to you!
Thank you, yes always look for things to use on your plate
Danke sehr, I Think you say in German, I am Danish.
Beautiful - yes people should create their own stencils
Thank you.. Not everyone is able to do than and still want to be creative. But let us who can a little more, make our own prints. 🙏
Fantastic video. I've just discovered this method and am excited to try experimenting. Thank you
Thanks and you’re welcome
Oh my, such great ideas with wonderful results! Thank you for sharing. I couldn't agree more with your comments about making it your own!
Thank you, the topic is a little difficult because I don’t want to annoy anyone and still encourage people to do there own things
@@lisbethdegn-dragenkunst The great thing about our YT channels is that they are ours and we can do what we want and uninterested people can move along to something that interests them more.
Amazing
Thank you
This looks like such fun, wonderfully interesting and varied prints! I look forward to seeing your creations from these gel prints.
Thank you
WOW!
🙏
Thanks so much!
You’re welcome
great video Lisbeth. I love the prints that you made. Thanks for sharing! I am inspired!
thank you, and nice to hear.
Tusind tak for denne video. Den er så inspirerende. Sikke nogle flotte prints.
Amazing, I love it so mutch, thynk you so mutch!!!
Thanks and you’re welcome
Love watching a master at work! LOL!
Thank you 😉
Very unique prints made. Wonderful color combinations too!
Thank you
very beautiful Lisbeth! I agree your comments about the stencils, it is much more creative/fun to use your own way to make beautiful prints like you do with the yarn or with a glue gun or home making stencils etcetera, etcetera. I am very curious about the collages you make with these lovely prints!
Thank you. Next week there will be a video where I use the papers for a collage.
Soooo delightful 🤎📸🖼️🎨🖌️🧵🧶 love every single print 😍💐🤎🦊🦊🤎
Thank you
Beautiful prints Lisbeth and lots of inspiration ❤You're probably well aware of this but (if you wanted to) for the ones that dry and only part of the yarn pattern comes up you could go back with gel medium instead of a new color and pick up the rest on the original print.
Thank you, yes I sometimes use that matte medium way.
Amherst88 can you please recommend a gel medium. Don’t know which one to buy. Thank you from Florida. Kathy ❤
@@Katmcb-r5u I use the Liquitex Basics brand (comes in a tube) -- comes in either a matte or a gloss finish depending on your preference (I use the matte).
@@amherst88 thank you 🙏. I really appreciate your response ❤️
Thank you for sharing. Your work is beautiful and inspiring!
Thanks and you’re welcome
Much enjoyed this Technique…Another inspirational video..
Thank you
Beautiful demonstration - thank you. Watching from Germany. Inspiring for starting again with this lovely technique.
Thank you
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻🎨

Thanks for sharing. Lovely prints.
You’re welcome
Wonderful!!! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks and you’re welcome
Thank you so much for this inspiring beautiful video! I love these papers that you´ve made, time for me to buy myself a gel plate 🥰
Thank you, I couldn’t imagine a live without a gelli plate 😉
Your art is wonderful!
Thank you
This was a very enjoyable video, it gave me lots of ideas. Thank you 😊
Thanks and you’re welcome
Thank your for your wonderful inspiration, I love this printing and have already lots of papers. Never tried your method. What will you do with all those many prints. I normally need only small bits.
Thanks, I use them in my collages and there also is a video where I make a flip flop book of the prints.
Lisbeth, this is beyond gorgeous. I want to use this method to make book covers. What paper would you print on to make it stable enough?
Many thanks!
Thank you, perhaps watercolor paper.
@@lisbethdegn-dragenkunst thank you for your prompt reply. Of course, w/c paper! I never think of that to use on the gelli plate.
I am delighted to learn new techniques with threads and fibers of which I have many! Could you tell me the names of the 2 paints that are red and transparent? They're so beautiful. Thank you. 🩷💎🩷
Thank you. It’s on full purpose I don’t mention the brands and the paint names because I think people should use what they have and also I am Danish and sometimes use paints you can’t by in other countries.
But as fare as I remember the red one is from Lukas paint and the translucent one js Goldens Nickle azo gold, which sadly isn’t produced any more.
Thank you so kindly! I appreciate you very much for the information. By the way, you have a healing & calming effect on me because you are tranquil and the soft sounds are like ASMR! Stay blessed beautiful Soul! 💐🩷💐
@@SixthSun Nice to heat. I am Danish and because every thing I want to say in English has to get the my brain before to comes out of my mouth. Probably that’s way it’s slow.
Great yards what are those thick bob ball type called and the thin feathery white one that looks like bard wire. Pom Pom yarn I found on Amazon, and scrubby yarn are those close? Love the white one you have used.
🙏, those yarns are several years old and from my knitting past. But they were called Pom Pom yarn and eyelash yarn. Look at thrift shops
Thank you. Yes, the paint id from Golden and unfortunately that color is being discontinued
Schade - so eine schöne Farbe
Lisbeth, is tissue the one that it is used for packing gifts? Or is it special for printing? Thank you,
I use both ordinary tissue and the wet strength tissue and the papers architects use for there drawings / manifold
Curious...do you save your yarn annd reuse?
I do, until it is so full of paint and getting stiff.
Very interesting ideas and results. But could you speak louder? even with my volume up it was hard to hear what you were saying.
Thank you. I am Danish and even speaking English , working and keeping an eye on the tech is enough for me. I have tried in the following videos, but I can’t shout.
Just to let you know that the volume was perfect. No problems at all.
Thank you@@DeeFay-fl1hs
@@evaalbrektsson1906
Audio is very low 😂
turn up your volume, I can’t both work and try to speak English and also speak louder, sorry
