That piece you ironed to demonstrate how it can completely disappear . . . it looked so light and lacy, like an angel’s wing. Beautiful.

Yes there wasn’t much left of the material after I had the ion on for so long.

I have watched other channels demonstrate tyvek but I must say that I really love your pieces the most! You manipulate it more and I think your resulting pieces are soo beautiful! Also I like that you use them in fabric collage! Thank-you!

Great video, I learned something new! I played with Tyvec many years ago. I painted it just using acrylic paints so loved seeing you use different paints/pens. Since Tyvec house wrap is thicker than Tyvec mailing envelopes and the end results differ. I noticed that what you put on the Tyvec affected the outcome slightly too. I never flipped my Tyvec pieces over and ironed the other side. I LOVE the distressed look it created! I’m going to do that to some of mine I have done. Thank you for sharing! Appreciate you 😊

About ten years ago I made layered flowers of melted tyvek to use as an embellishment on my crochet bags and I had forgotten all about it. It must be somewhere in my studio and your video inspired me to use it again. It was so much fun to play with it! Thanks Lisbeth.

Oh my, your results are beautiful! I always use a heat gun and heat tool with a small tip to re-melt edges that I'm not happy with (such as your cut edges). I think you have a bit more control using the iron and they are more flat (if wanted). I look forward to trying this your way and to the art you make using your pieces! Thank you.

I use the thinner variety, colour it and stitch into it, then shrink it slowly with my heat gun until I am happy with it. It behaves more like fabric and I'm careful with the heat so as to not burn my stitches. It works well for bead making
