Awesome, I fished at the bridge at Morehead city landing on 4/21/23 . I caught my first sheep head, first tautog, first black drum at the bridge. Thanks to your teaching and sharing your knowledge I really really appreciate this TH-cam channel. Hey bud. Waiting on your new boat. My son took me out on his 19’ maycraft 40 miles last Thursday when the wind was down. Limited out on vermilion snapper and 6 triggers. 2 were absolutely huge. Dang sharks were a pain. Low gear on the reels for sure. Nothing better than when the good Lord blesses us with a great day
I guess I'm going to have to fillet a Oyster Toad and fry it up, never thought I would say that. I've been thinking about getting some deck boots and HISEA looks to be good ones! Good video!
That's cool, never heard of that before. We tried all kinds of stuff and only got the one little guy. Josef tried the pink spec rig that everyone has been talking about, no luck there either.
They have great flavours, big ones are definitely worth keeping! Small ones are a pain to process, and this is coming from an Asian who had toadfish quite a few times😅
I'm not telling you what to do, this is only a suggestion and it will make your life easier. Put a towel down on that table and your fish won't slip around when you filet.

Been using 3" clear with silver flake curl tail grubs to catch spanish mackerel in my area .

Little interruptions from the bluefish. All have been keepers with largest caught was 19".
