🙌🏽
Great video, thanks, yes told fish makes great products for fisherman
Yes sir!
You guys are so relaxing to watch. I love your calmness. Lovely to see.
Glad you enjoy it!
Both of you calmly get excited together. You both have controlled your enthusiasm. I really enjoy well natured folks.
Really enjoyed the video. Makes me a little homesick when you traveled into to intracoastal. Great teaching video on blackened redfish. Also enjoyed that your wife is a vital part!
Thank you!
Good for you! Toadfish appears to be a very good company and I know their rods are exceptional.
I’m looking forward to testing one out!
Redfish magic for the win every time!!
Yes sir!
Been looking for a good filet knife. I like that, folding is a handy feature.
Get one !!
Keeps its edge too
Great video. Blackened Redfish always the bomb!
Yes sir
That was a great video. That area you were in was beautiful. I would love to fish it sometime. I couldn’t help but notice your FFA T-shirt, I knew we had more of a connection than just fishing.
Yes sir!
We noticed that too. FFA is a great place for kids and adults. Great values are taught. I have an honorary national farmer degree.
@@greygooseadventures5212 I was in all four years of high school, I was reporter and sentinel for two years. I went to national convention on my senior year. The whole thing was a great experience.
I grew up on the river and have been fishing all my life and don’t think I have ever seen a Redfish with a tail as blue as the one you caught. Awesome videos as always, keep banging em out and we will be watching!🤙
🙌🏽
They have been eattin alott of shrimp
LOVE THAT YOU FISH ALL YOUR PROTEIN AND PREPARE IT
Blackened red fish is my favorite. I never had it until I moved to Texas. I will choose it over steak. We now live in TN and I miss it so much.
Good choice! It’s great!
Hi tugboat and tugboats wife. I am mike A. And love your channel. Just wish they were longer than 24 min. The channel reminds me of fishing with my Dad all over the bay area in concord California. We would fish the canals . the mothball fleat and just all over . we would use clams for catfish. Shrimp.that I could ember. I remember one time we came home with a stringer full of catfish cleaned them and ate them. Thanks again for your Chanel.
Is that the Suisun bay moth ball fleet? I’ve towed a handful of those old ships to the scrapyard in Texas!
Killer dinner thanks for sharing 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
🙌🏽
blackened anything is da bomb but that looked especially good! Thanks for the awesome vid!
Blackened fish is always a welcomed change to fried!! Awesome video bro!
You got that right!
Y’all check this guys channel out!!!
Now im craving blackened fish grrr lol
Get some!
The blue on the juveniles is so pretty!!!
Yes sir
Hey Ian you should get one of those portable butane gas camping stoves so your wife can film across from you, just a suggestion. Great video as always
I been saying this! On my list!
Loved the looks Genung’s Fish Camp. What a scenic little creek you fished in. The first time i cooked Blackened Redfish i set off my friends’s smoke alarms which his wife did not think was amusing. My Marine pilot son, who is stationed in Corpus Christi recently shot an axis deer doe and some Sandhill Cranes. He said both were delicious. I’m going to try your Zataran’s Caribbean rice with Goya black bean soup as that looked great. I use Zataran’s Jambalaya, Dirty Rice, Red Beans and rice and Gumbo mix and think they all are great.your videos are really fun.
Everything they make is great!
Everything they make is great!
Soooooooo tasty looking. Love your catch n cooks.
Thank you so much
I recognized that fish camp as soon as I saw those buildings. I'm from NW GA but I frequently come down to St. Augstine. We went out there one day and just sat around watching the boats fishing go up and down the river. I want to move down there soooo bad! We normally stay at the Ocean Sands right off the A1A just north of Publix. Love that Lil place.
Right in my neighborhood!
@Tug Trash Outdoors you have a awesome neighborhood. I've been slowly finding those hidden places to find great food amd things to do there. I've been debating on just going ahead and move on down. My ex inlaws live in Middleburg.
Great video Ian I need to drag my boat up there, been a long time fishing Saint Augustine again great to see you on the water
You should!
Great video Tug! Love the banter you and Crystal get going. Love the cook on that red fish. Keep them coming
Thx
I love red fishing! Great video tug. Keep them coming. Be safe!
🙌🏽
Great show while watching it became subscriber and your family's amazing your kid the young girl very funny seems like a really good kid. You both did good.
Thank you so much!
Great family...good job.
🙌🏽
Love when I'm in shift up in the wheelhouse and tug drops a video
Be safe out there!!
Nice! Weird how blackened redfish caused the redfish stocks to be depleted. But, that was the craze back in the early 90’s. Glad the stocks have rebounded.
Yes sir!
I really like watching you two your a great guy , and a lucky man that she enjoys it also GA
Yes I am!
Well, I’m not eating redfish tonight, but I did make a pot of field peas with ham hock to go over rice. Add some chopped onions and Tabasco sauce and I’m good to go. Enjoyed the video Tug!
Love me some field peas!
Hey, I love Genung’s! Definitely a cool start to the video.
Hey, thanks!
I remember in the 70s when all the bait houses doubled as a tavern on heckster drive from the zoo all the way to Amelia island
Great fish in that area
That was so nice of you to stop and give those guys that crab to catch fish.
Those kids catch more fish than me!
Hello from Maine! Another great video! Thanks for the Toadfish link, I'll check them out! Keep up the great content!
Thanks for the support!
Just started watching you guys! Remind us of our family! Love ur content it’s so relatable and you guys are the cutest family!!! Love the recipes and learning more about other kinds of fishing/clamming/shrimping! Thank you!!
Thank you!
Good looking Dinner Tug
Thanks
I have that fillet knife by Toadfish and its awesome to have a fold away. I also have their shellfish kit and my favorite thing they make is the shrimp deveiner. Lastly I agree Chef Paul's Blackened Redfish Magic is the business on Red's and blackening isn't blackening if you just sprinkle season on it. It's all in the way its cooked. You got to have that crusty outside.
Yes sir they have some great products
Another great adventure and cook!
Thanks for watching
Chef Paul has the best seasonings for seafood. All of his are great
I love it on everything! Pork chops are real good
@@TugTrashOutdoors try the shrimp magic and pasta magic those are great too
You learned me somethin' with that Blackened Redfish! Makes me think that probably Chef Paul or one of his apprentices had a happy accident. I love browned butter, but always thought if you burn the butter - you have to throw it out, no good... But the way you do it makes perfect sense. The butter will make it blacken right up & form a crust without overcooking & totally smoking out your whole house.
🙌🏽
I heard about you from my father. We both live in this area and you're fishing in many creeks I used to as a child with him. Looking forward to watching more of your channel.
Very cool!
Another banger 🎣 keep them coming tight lines 🎣
Thanks!
Wow that looked YUMMY!!!!!
So good!
I am consistently surprised that anglers on the east coast do not bleed out fish when they are caught. I grew up in the New England area and did not do this. I was stationed in Washington State, and every fish I bleed out. I found it to be a much better fish to clean and eat.
Agreed
Great video
2 more weeks left on my hitch then-back home to Homosassa to catch some Reds!! Great vid
Be safe out there!
Love the videos brother keep them coming.
Thanks! Will do!
Awesome job
🤙🏽
Enjoying your videos and thanks for the discount, purchased fillet set and fish spatula…I have a baked or grilled oyster recipe to get for you, stay tuned. Keep up the great work!
OYSTERS ONASSIS , spinach, béchamel, fresh dill, touch of ouzo and kefalograviera cheese, from my favorite Greek restaurant. Haven’t attempted them at home but it would be fun experimenting.
That sounds amazing!!! Hell ya
Man that looks so good . Damn . I'm watching this after having a big meal and it made me hungry again.
Love the vids
Later
Hahah thanks
Great video! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you
Looks good!
🤙🏽
The right tools make any job easier. Meal looked amazing. Don't overlook those little backwater areas.
Yes sir
BIANCA EATS GOOD EVERYDAY, LUCKY GIRL
Yes sir
Looks delicious
It was!
Thank you for sharing this video. ❤❤❤❤
I like fishing 😊😊😊😊😊
Thanks for watching!
Now this is something that I do get to do. Although it has been a few months since I caught one. It's definitely that time. Nice work my friend
Awesome!
Heck yeah!! 🙌
🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
I need some blackened redfish!
Yes sir!
I really enjoy your videos. I wish you get 10 million prescribers. I hope you do.
Thank you! Me too!!
I love that creel right there. Won't name it for pressure reasons. Been wanting to camp up there!
Thank you for not saying! I do try not to blow spots up.
Tug, love this video! Do have a few questions about your boat. Like the length of the boat. And draft with you, Crystal, and fishing gear? Thanks and please keep these videos coming!
The skiff in this video is 14’ with a very shallow draft 6-8”
Grooves.
The audio got too low for parts of when you were on the boat in the canal but the audio was good for everything else. Loved being with y'all in the canal. Very relaxing. Thank you! We liked the cutting board and knife!
Filming outside can be tough
That was a nice blackening! You needed key lime pie for desert
💯
We need some cool Tug shirts.
I agree !!
Super great video
Thank you!
Another awesome video guys. Love your content!!
Thank you Cam!
Great videos i get excited when a new one comes out
Glad you like them!
Yum !
🤙🏽
Great vid.
Thank you
Looked good
So good
If yall ever get down to Louisiana, look me up and I would love to take yall fishing
Will do thx
I'm on the way. Thanks. Lol
Come on!
I got that same knife/cutting board set for Xmas, can’t wait to try it… will you be testing any of toadfish rod/reel combos? Love the Chanel!!
Yes sir gonna be out this week
Dang Tug, Honda and Acura commercials and Peyton Manning's little brother (Quaker Oats) advertising on your channel? Toadfish partner/sponsor? I'm getting one of those filet knife and cutting board sets. And yes, Paul Prudhomme's is the best blackening seasoning, hands down. That's one delicious looking meal right there! Ya'll keep up the good work.
Thank you 🙏🏼
Great video choice ❤👏👏👏🇺🇸
Glad you enjoyed
I'm from Louisiana, and if you know about Chef Paul, then you know you stuff about blacken" seasoning. This is it on redfish.
🙌🏽
Hey Tug! I've been enjoying your videos for a few months now. My family and I will be in St. Augustin in June from Oklahoma. Do you have any recommendations for a fishing guide in the area? Never been ocean fishing. I don't care what we catch but would dedicated want to eat/ try most of what we catch. Anyways, keep up the good work man. Thanks
Offshore fishing try the legend, Jodie Lynn, or endless summer
that second red's tail was so blue
Video doesn’t even do it justice!
I have that filet system. I keep it in my camper.
Definitely a great set up for camping!
@@TugTrashOutdoors Also have some tumblers and a couple oyster knives. Great company with great products.
@@raybaker8726 I wouldn’t show you guys anything I thought wasn’t great! I also have an oyster knife
They sure are pretty fish. 1 fish, 2 fish - Redfish, Bluefish....
Ask Bluegabe what could happen when you filet towards your other hand He almost lost his thumb. Anywho enjoy your show and personality of both you and your wife. Keep up the cool work
Who needs 10 fingers anyways?
@@TugTrashOutdoors especially when you have 9 more, where was my head sorry
Hey Ian and Crystal! Another great video!!!! I can totally relate to thinking of words and they don’t come out right! When you got your shrimp was it live? I finally got my pole in the water (just off of my little deck) I didn’t get anything but it was fun and so calming. I appreciate you guys and how simple you make fishing look. I’m a blundering idiot even it comes down to it but I love your videos.
Yes live shrimp but here is a tip…. Put live shrimp in a bag and keep them on ice. This time of year they will “sleep” and wake back up when you pull them out. This works for a few hours. Don’t let them get in the ice water
@@TugTrashOutdoors great advice! Thank you
@@rebeccacoffiel3866 and even the super fresh dead shrimp is better than frozen or what the shops sell as “fresh dead”
Awesome
🙌🏽
🔥🔥🔥👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 ty for sharing
🙌🏽
@@TugTrashOutdoors hope I could meet u some day in person brother and for fishing or anything am from Florida too
Easy recipe and so good! You got me drooling 🤤 was that an entire stick of butter?
Maybe I forget… lol
I'd like to see a video now you 3 catching and cooking lobsters.
I so need my salt water fix
🙌🏽
The price of seafood here in Ontario, Canada is insanely priced. 1lb of frozen shrimp is about $ 20 dollars or Flounder is $42 dollars a pound fresh. You guys are luck to fish for dinner on a daily basis
Yes we are!
Love the content. I’m from keystone heights fl. I see that your pretty close to me. How where y’all catching them?
We are catching them good!
Tug and Crystal, we are your neighbors, just a little south of Marineland. I was interested in the creek you were in. We don’t have that relieve anywhere south of 206. We’re you north of that? I would love to fish you brother! I have a Mitzi. David and Juanita
Yes north a bit!
I'm not a huge fan of blackened fish. But to be honest that looked amazing
I think most restaurants aren’t even serving REAL blackened fish.
@@TugTrashOutdoors it wouldn't surprise me one bit
Great video. So you didn’t put any oil at all in the skillet?
Nope
@@TugTrashOutdoors thanks for the info. I’ll try that.
I wonder if there are mud crabs there.
The link to toadfish isn’t working, heads up
Thanks changing now
I think I fixed it !!
In this video where did you fish? What area? Not exact location if you don't want to share, I understand. Lol
ICW area St Augustine
