I like my FX dreamline so much that i'm considering selling it and stepping up a notch by getting a crown or impact instead... Fx makes some amazing rifles.
The Dreamline is a amazing platform , I love it . I would never sell it but if you need the funds to by a Impact go for it 👌🏻

Very good explanation. Just 2 remarks : some lube on the o-ring from the valve and don't tighten the manometer so hard (it crushes the special o-ring)

Never had any issues with it and everytime I remove it I have to heat it to be able to undo it so I guess it fine 👍🏻

At what number can set regulator to working perfect ; because this regulator building to fx mk1 when added power pallinum working slowly to refilling.
On the barrel end going into the rear block, the barrel end (A4) has two holes in it. Does the bigger hole go in the direction of the regulator pressure gage ? Is it normal when seating the notch in the barrel end that it can go too far into the magazine area, blocking the magazine? Thanks, Appreciate your vids very much.

What power would a standard fx impact produce with a 600mm barrel in .22cal with a factory small plenum.
At 8:32 you remove a screw underneath which will allow you to separate the plenum from the rear. How would I separate the two if there is no bolt underneath? Awesome channel.
You probably have the side shot magazine system installed no ?
The screw is underneath the magazine adapter plate . You can see what I mean in the disassembly video I made for the impact M3 . The step to remit that is identical
Airbuks....I have a question for you:
I ordered my fx dreamline lite .22cal, 500mm stx barrel, 500cc aluminum bottle. In their website it specifically stated that .22cal comes with 500mm barrel...yet when i received the airgun it has a 600mm barrel.
My question is: Is it possible that they made an error...changed the barrel to 600mm and send it to me?
Because i feel that i've been played upon...that i bought a dreamline lite open-box; that what i bought has been used for testing or belonged to another person...it didnt have that look of a brand new item.
Normally it comes with a 500mm barrel unless ordered specifically, but it’s more likely the swap or open box happened by the store you bought it from

Watch out as this upgrade kit did NOT fit my mk1. This is a known issue apparently but FX doesn't mention this anywhere. The diameter of the plenum in the kit is 12mm and the hole in my impact block is 11.93mm. There are batches that will NOT fit a MK1
Hi mate , thx for the comment. Yes indeed there are a few impacts out there that have issues installing the kit . But the problem isn’t the kit but the hole in the impact itself. There is a batch of impacts with a slight smaller diameter. FX is aware of this problem and if you encounter this problem send them a mail and they will provide you with a part for the plenum that will fit .

I wanted to purchase the FX impact Mark 3 but I'm in Canada with tax it's going to be over $3,000. If I find a Mark II and install the power plenum what advantage would the Mark 3 have and is it much of a difference?

Hi , you are observing wel 👍🏻 . But I didn’t forget it , somewhere in the evolution of the impact FX decided to change the hammer insider eliminating the use of the C3 bumper that causes a lot of headache

My power platinum leaks at the valve stem going into the body blowing air out the body. Do you guys think its the 2 black n white o rings in the power platinum cap?
Could be , but it could also be the 2 orings on the tube going into the body
When took the measurement for the valve rod (6.5) , did the rod need to be flush in the rear? Thanks for the video and nicely done
Yes , make sure it’s flush and seated at the rear where the magazine goes, then the measurements of the valve rod at the front should be between 6-6,5 mm from the tip to the block of the impact

Are you combining a high power Huma spring with the spacers from the slug kit ?

@@FamilyFun183 is your hammerspring ( small adjustment screw ) maxed out ? If you you will have to reduce it as it’s possible that is overdone slightly

I followed along and was able to do a power block/plenum install. I used the same fx gauge.

It almost seems like from where the power block and the magazine bracket mate together.
@@alramos292 oke that’s not your regulator area , the reg sits behind the trigger .
But if you have a leak between the plenum and the power block you should look at the orings inside the power block where the valve goed or the orings on the valve inside the plenum

I have edited my response to state the location is the regulator pressure gauge area.
The fx regulator gauge was used from the original block to the power block.
The o-rings were carefully seated and lubed with 100% silicone grease. Three in one hole and one in the other hole of the power block.

The air leak around the regulator pressure gauge was due to a missing x ring seal on the power block kit.

Hi I really appreciate the work you have done. I have a problem. I bought a impact mk2.35 I upgraded to the 720 power plenum. And I want to change my caliber to suit my daily needs. But I can’t find a video that explain how this mk2 .35 power plenum is different than say a mk2 pre power plenum. Explain how to disassemble the rifle with the 720. And drop caliber from .35 to .22 and .25 and .30. This is the last model of mk2. It’s been forgotten. Can you please help me out. With a new video or if you know of one can you please point me in the right direction. Thank YOU so much
Hi , I don’t own or have any experience with the 35cal 🤔 but the plenum is actually just a bigger volume and can be used for all calibers . But I don’t know if the hammer weight and spring is the same on a 35 cal compared to the rest . I just finished a video to be released in a few days upgrading my MKII with the plenum 720 and other M3 parts . I will ask my contact if there is a difference with the internals
I have asked and there shouldn’t be any difference in the internals 👍🏻 so just swap to different caliber and retune it
Hi I have a sub-12 ft lbs impact M3. Would I install power plenum the same as you have? Also that ft lbs would I be looking at after I have installed it?

I don’t have any experience with sub12 😬 but I think the sub12 kit is a little different from the FAC one , I think there is a extra spring on the valve rod inside the plenum to help close that valve with the lower regulator pressure but I am not sure if that . Fx has done this on the early models of the impact but I am not sure if that is still the case
Is there a break in period if the power plenum is newly changed?
Not really after a few shots everything should be settling into place .
I used this video to disassemble my MKII Impact because of a leak. I noticed there was a moist build up in the plenum, thinking it was silcone. Should I clean the plenum out before reassembly. I did reassemble and the initial leak was gone for a few weeks but has come back. Could this be caused by the excess moisture in the plenum?
The moisture probably will come from the air you put in it , do you use a hand pump or scuba tank ?
Where is the leak exactly?

After I reassembled my gun, the air those not get to the power plant. Theres air in the bottle, but can't fire the gun. What am I missing?

Hi, followed this but the alignment of the valve housing at one end and plenum end cap hole at the other is way out, meaning that the valve rod is not straight. Way out, like 130° out. I don't want to tighten the end cap more, and there is nothing to grip on anyway, and if I back it out by unscrewing to align the holes the rod goes through, the cap o-ring seal isn't made and air just rushes out. The alignment of the plenum end cap seems constrained by the cap and plenum thread, but that is allowing it to turn too far causing the misalignment. What am I doing wrong?
Have you made sure the valve housing ( silver tube ) is in the correct alignment with that tiny allenscrew ?
If that is not perfect then everything else can’t be in the correct orientation

FX Impact There are many problems in Bangladesh. We don't get good results with this gun. Power, accuracy is good but needs to be repaired occasionally. The price of this gun is much higher in Bangladesh. Crown guns are much stronger but less powerful. It is important to upgrade the crown to more power.
The impact is a complex airgun , it needs to be maintained very good in order to make it function at high level . The crown has a simpler design with less orings 👍

@@armankhanjony7843 the impact is powerful thx to its design and adjustability. There for has many orings and so many possibilities to have one fail . The impact also needs to be tuned correctly and in harmony.
If you use the wrong amount of reg pressure with the wrong amount of hammerspring you break things.
The crown in its current configuration can’t be made as powerful as the impact but is abit more reliable since you almost can adjust it wrong and break stuff

@@Airbuks should not be any lube for thread to loctite work properly. it is the same you paint your car without washing it and degrease it

I would really like to get a proper slug liner. mine is in 600mm and that I have to use. we can only have 10 joules licens free wish is about 8 foot pound Not much to hunt with. Where do you live? I must be the most stupid man. I installed my power plenum but when I put the air bottle on it is leaking in the front en of the power plenum, What can I done wrong?
Ai 🫣 have you tried to cock the impact before putting your bottle on?
The reason why it leaks from the barrel is that the valve isn’t closed and cocking might fix that .
The plenum could be related as there isn’t any pressure build up because it leaks out of the barrel but it could have another reason aswel .
Does the plenum leak between the threads of the plenum near the grip ?
@@Airbuks Yes exactly where it leaks between the treads at the connection to the front part where the grip is
@@lassesarnhult9283 I had the same problem once with the M3 after reassembling it . The depth to where you screw that front cap in is crucial.
The face has to be exactly inline with the edge of the plenum. To deep or not deep enough and it will leak.
