That was fantastic! AND, the tip on dry-firing BEFORE taking your first shots to “settle” the gun just answered a question I’ve been curious about for some time. Brilliant work, sir.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR DETAILED EXPLANATION ON THE FX M3. I WAS THINKING ABOUT BUYING ONE AND TRYING IT OUT HOW EVER AFTER YOUR VERY GOOD EXPLANATION I DECIDED I AM GETTING TO OLD TO START SOMETHING NEW. AS MUCH AS I ENJOY WATCHING YOU GUYS SHOOT I THINK ABOUT THE OVER ALL COST OF GETTING STARTED AND DECIDE TO STICK WITH MY 22`S. ANSHUTZ, BERGARA, CZ, REMINGTON CUSTOM AND MANY OTHER RIFLES THAT I ALREADY ENJOY SHOOTING SO THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND ALL THE VIDEOS YOU HAVE PUT OUT OVER THE YEARS.
Thanks, Gerhard, this is what we have all been waiting for, and that is to hear the little details that are not available unless you spend the time to look through all the forums, etc which takes so much time. you do it all in one video, thanks. You help[ed us save a lot of time. I also want to say I get extremely jealous when watching your other channel. I wish I could be there to shoot with you!!!!! Thanks for all your content!!!!
@@Soldis-vq5xg , Bottle gauge or second reg gauge? Remove bottle, drain air from Your gun and then unscrew reg just a bit to feel is it seated properly. There should be a seal in the bottom of reg hole in the block. Check that seal. Replace if needed. FX do not use thread sealant on gauges!
I love what u are doing for the Airgun industry. All u guy are leader in the new tech. THANK U. My wife like it to cuz I'm home more an able to shoot in yard.
Sweet Friday special. Good info. I was thinking of trying that magazine trick the other way to loosen the spring tension for pellet skirts. The opening footage top notch.
I love it but now really intimidated on how to maintain when I purchase my FX I'm very close to getting an entire system but now nervous because here in Texas I don't know where to get someone to assist if I need to repair or have an issue to fix something I broke by not knowing. your videos are so knowledgeable but also a lot to know and understand. Thank you again for a great video
Thanks Gerhard, can you cover what valve adjustments you can make under pressure and which you can’t and what you need to do to make those adjustments also. Thanks for the informative videos!
Love your videos always very helpful and easy to understand thank you. PS could you make one on setting up and tuning the FX Maverick please and thank you.
Great video. If you want to be more accurate with your scope height measurement. Measure from the top of the tube or objective, to the bottom of the barrel and subtract the radius of each.
thank you Gerhard very much I really like to explain things all fx, look at one thing I say C1 rod, I don't remember 5.5mm or 6mm original fx measurement?
Thanks a lot, for give range of pressure for reg, for slug and pellet, for me it make easier to set our pcp air gun, just to follow that, and maybe we only do a little bit seting if the gun not yet looks like we need to use for shoot, (accurasi/speed) thanks from me from indonesian... Terima kasih
My first front regulator is set at 200 and rear regulator 150. My question is : if the air presure goes below 200, suppose 180. Will it affect accuracy or should I not go below 200?
This is great, even if I do not have M3. Have You got FX Dreamline in Your arsenal? Would be nice to see and hear how You have set up Yours, tips&tricks.
HI I Liked your video and hope you would do a similar one for fx maverick , one question regarding the second regulator , in how much time does it return to its set pressure, after firing the shot and what is the belliville washer configuration. thirdly any views on the newly brass piston performance in the second regulator,
According to FX the first regular should never be set higher than 170 BAR, and the second regulator (for pellets) at 85-90 BAR for .177, 70-75 BAR for .22, 90-95 BAR for .25, 100-105 for .30 and 130-135 BAR for .35, so are yours slug recommendations?
@@shootermakeready1224 ok obrigado! aconteceu comigo uma vez na .30 mais parece que tudo está perfeito, achei que poderia causar algum tipo de dilatação do liner.
Another excellent video Gerhard 🤙🏻 On the barrel housing you removed the gun bluing on did you use anything on it to protect it from rusting afterwards. Thanks again keep up the good work
What is the normal life of all the important O rings in the gun ; never fill beyond 225 bar ; regulator pressure is 110 bar; and mostly shooting on 5 hammer pressure Gerard plz throw light
Hello Gerhard, I heard you say something very important to me: you're a trained and qualified airgun technician. So: how do you become one? Since there is no reliable service directly around where I live, and the good service points have a waiting list of 4 to 6 weeks there seems to be gap worth filling in. I've been shooting airguns for over a decade now and recently became very interested in the technology behind it. I watch about every channel I can get info from (like the FX Masterclass, Matt Dubbers Airgun Ballistics 101, ...) but I would really like to become a qualified technician as well. So, is there somewhere I can get a decent training? Tried googeling for it, but all the hits were for firearms. Can you help out? Thanks in advance, Filip.
What I do is I make a mark with a pen on the muzzle end. Index liner with mark at 12 o clock position. After this I will make sure my scope is mechanicale zero. From here I will shoot groups on paper out at 50yds. I usually check my left and right movements of the group and index the liner tawards the direction. I will do a video abit more in detail on this in the future to come
Free floating? Everyone else is pushing barrel tensioners. I know that the impact barrel moves alot, especially if you rest the barrel on a bag, it is WAY OFF. like feet off.
