considering how well they fitted rebel allience tactics, im sure any rebel chell that got their hands on a C70 would use them well

@@hyperspacedatabase The C-70 Consular class Cruiser is another one of those strangely designed, yet iconic and amazing starships out there. Even Star Trek as well as Babylon 5, Space Battleship Yamato, and also Andromeda TV Series do also have really really cool/somewhat ugly looking ships too that are also really great designs (Do you want to know which alien starships I'm actually referring to?).

I've always loved the look of this ship due to it's 3 round engines and sleek design. both the EU & the Prequel/CW era parts of Star Wars always seems to have the most interesting & neat look ship designs. ^-^

These bad boys are hard to pin down in Armada. Two of em looped behind and took out four of my Hardcells 😢

The C-70 seems like it'd be a great civilian vessel...

I really liked this vessel from the moment I saw it in TPM. The C70 Chatger is my favorite variant though.
    😎👍

The Bad Batch needed a ship like this, Wrecker and Hunter will have Port and Starport Guns, Tech, Echo Omega and Gonky will have the bridge and control center

The CEC VCX-350 has similar engines, same for the YG-4210
Both ship classes have a similar engine block.
The YV-929 has a similar, yet different structure, then a Consular nose section.
And we all know of the CR70/90 and the ships that are based on it, in some way.
But the first two, how big are their engines when compared to a Consular & Arquitens?
Why did nobody dive into that box of fun?

    • @rbleisem
      @rbleisem ปีที่แล้ว +1

Just think, a Consular with a more YV-929 nose section and as a engine section, think the engines of the YG-4210 and the engines of the VCX-350, stacked on top of it.
As for the bridge itself, think more Arquitens class 546 cruiser it's bridge, worked into the shape of the YV-929 it's front section.
Additional mid section weapon turrets based on the cr-70/90 loadout, for added fun.
This lets it stay close to the Consular form, yet also sneaks it away from it.
      Which is quite nice, right?
And if you use two sets of VCX-350 engines, you can even get the classic blockade runner look, in a weird retro-mix, since it's actually a older ship, but with a newer set of engine sections.
      So bonus fun, right there.
I feel folks aren't really looking too well into the CEC ship lines, quite a few are based on similar components and could thus be combined, if done correctly.
And bonus, most of them are compatible with the CR-70/90.
While a few other could look quite good, if combined, as well, like the Gozanti C-ROC & Aurore, the later wingless, upside-down and backwards, under the C-ROC, it just needs something for under the nose section, to finish the basic look.
Like say a Sorosuub Personal Luxury Yacht 3000, also upside-down, wingless and the back end removed.
And that's a starting basic look.
A YC-123B transport hauler has some nice bays, for one and they could be something for the C-ROC cargo wings.
In my eyes, Lucas & Disney, didn't went far enough, in terms of ship looks.
They let quite a bit of potential, un-used.

extra armor is always a good thing in space 😁 you should put a link to where you get those t-shirts in the description. Maybe amazon or whatever website will give you some money for referrals.

      Extra armor is always good!
Most of the shirts I have were given to me as gifts, but that could be a good thing for sure!

Imagine if for the C70, that large front pod became the biggest missile to ever be carried on a ship.

I want one for my Star Wars TTRPG game! But imma give it more guns where the escape pods are, better shields, and faster engines while renovating the interior to become a mobile mercenary haven with a cantina and weapons and armor fabricator. Don’t ask what I’m gonna do with the solan pod interior though~. X3

I don't think I've seen it anywhere, in the C-70 what were the Salon Pods used for?

I wonder if I could use it as a military transport ship to carry troops and cargo at the same time or maybe use as a light/medium freighter to smugle items to off world

I wonder if the refitted Consular-Class Cruiser could be a good or decent bounty hunter ship.

    • @hyperspacedatabase
      @hyperspacedatabase  ปีที่แล้ว

It is fairly large, so it might be good for a group of hunters, not as much for an individual.
