If the chromuim is blaster proof it must have a threshold to energy weapons as the shots that hit when they escaped the Naboo blockade in Ep.1 knocked out the hyperdrive!! Tbh the chromium looks more like something Hannibal wouldve flown if the A-Team were in the star wars galaxy as he seemed to prefer the stainless steel look eg his personal machine gun lol

So, here's some food for thought. The Nubian J-Type Star Skiff had a stock hyperdrive rated at class 0.5 Padme had one, and most likely had it throughout most of the clone wars since her H-Type was destroyed on Rodia. Padme was married to Anakin. Anakin was a huge gearhead who tinkered with ships and other tech almost compulsively. _Anakin most likely had access to Padme's Star Skiff at some point for long enough that he could have modified the hyperdrive to make it even faster._ Padme's J-Type Star Skiff was most likely faster than the Millennium Falcon by RotS, and as far as we know, that ship's still out there somewhere. Remember, the ship Palpatine gave to Vader that then got rammed through the atmosphere of Mustifar at mach 25 and had its hull burnt to a crisp was Padme's old J-Type 327 Diplomatic Cruiser, not the skiff. Also, while the ship was officially retired, it's possible that after the Empire consolidated its hold on the galaxy the vessel could have ended up in someone else's hands.

I don’t know if the game and all the pictures of this ship show it being off. But this ship is NOT wider than it is long. I think it is 94 meters long and 80 meters wide. Otherwise the game and all the pictures picture it wrong.

I'll make a few corrections real quick. The Defender is actually the successor to the Avenger. It was a line of advances, and this line included the Defender, Avenger, and presumably also the Interceptor. Many more Avengers were made than Defenders, because Avengers entered production earlier. Just like the A5M (Claude) was replaced by the A6M (Zero), which would have been replaced by the A7M (Reppuu). After Endor, there may not have even been enough Defenders left to form a full squadron, but there still would hav been at least hundreds of Avengers. Zaarin was able to monopolize the Defender even more than the Avenger because he was the one managing the R&D of these ships. The attempted assassination of Maarek Stele was in an Interceptor, not an Avenger. They wanted him to be more vulnerable when he flew that mission.

In SWG, the Nova Courier is a monster. 3 launchers, 2 gun turrets, bit more nimble and not as big of a target. Great ship to use. I liked the interior more as way. This ship and the YT-2400 are my favorite POB in SWG.

Do u think this was used in A New Hope to land the troopers on Tatooine to search for the lost Death Star plans..? I guess Star Destroyers carried a few of these..!! 😉

I'm ok with them being less armed than the LAAT. It focused on troops whereas the LAAT had high casualties for trying to do both like a HIND. The Republic was better of with Nu's an the smaller LAAT/LE for troops and a designated gunship that can hover to escort them. The HMP droid gunship is the best in my opinion because they had a missile version to escort the troop version and strong shields.

This ship's landing gear is pretty ugly.

Megaguards have such badass starfighters imagine if they were use in the clone wars throughout the war.

Hyperdrive is just hyperjet engine. Electromechanical jet engine. With quadrilio times moe thrust than boeing airplanes. Even quadrilion times more thrusts and power and efficiency than Apollo style rockets. Just like floppy disk vs 1 TB microsd card analogy. Essentialy is the same tech but quadrilion times more at lower mass factor and size. Thats why ships in star wars look and act like airplanes. More thrust. Ordiniary airplane cant get in deep cosmos. What about quadrilion times more thrust and efficiency and ship weights as much as truck?

Image a super mistral class star ship. With class 1 hyperdrives and class 2 back, with heavy armored weaponry, 28 head hunters, and 2 tractor blames, the outer hull has all the quest quarts. For 98 people and two rancor's. And travel at 8000 miles per hour in the atmosphere. The giant size would further reinforce the status of the owener. Think hut/ super star destroyer. Or a stealer sege wepon. The pack is a super rich person, and the adminites of fantasy univer like using a word fresher instead of a bath rooms or wash room. Bata tank instead of E.R. etc. Put a fresher in every quest room pluse aR3 with vocabulary of hutes, basic , Droid, and 26 others To serve guest.
