It's why I didn't call it 'All Cruisers' etc because it was quite difficult to collate all of the information. I knew I would miss some out along the way.
3:06 Funny thing about the EF76 Nebulon-B is that (In the EC Henry verse) it was built for the Empire as a multi-role craft. But due to the failure of the original Nebulon-A prototype & lack of resources/need for it, it was left to rust in various scrapyards for many years. It only began service with the Rebellion after they raided those scrapyards that held the now derelict Nebulon-B's.
Yes, the Nebulon-B was an interesting addition to this video which I didn't expect. I simply thought it had always been a general use ship the Rebel Alliance commondered for its fleet.
Strange... in most legends game i fight them on imperial side... so no their not ignored and all, their used. ANd especiel the Nebulon B2 saw extensive use
I thought the Tartan class wasn't much larger than a Corellian corvette, at about 120 meters? The model shown in this video, at 12:05 with its large windows and large turrets would fit this far more than 250 meters. It almost sounds like the numbers have been doubled, either that or the model used is way to small. That said in the game that introduced the Tartan class they were visually the same size as Corvettes.
4:15 That's technically the 160ish meter Imperial Customs Corvette! The Imperial Customs Frigate is actually *smaller* than the Corvette for some reason.
Man, I loved the carrack/strike cruisers, but my heart will always have a special place for the modified Nebulon B, especially the Ludwick. The TIE Fighter game and Empire at War had some great additions. Long live the Empire!
I knew I would miss a few out somewhere. However, I did mention the Vindictor in the video but didn't feature it individually. Good spot though, thanks
Forgot the underrated CR92a, one of the best corvettes in the galaxy.... Also, the Raider (I) had 4 double chin TL and a chin ion cannon in addition to its 6 double laser cannons. This is actually a heavier armament when compared to most CR90 varients, and certainly more powerful than most other 150m sized corvettes, aside from the CR92a and the DP20. I have no doubt the Raider (I) (not really the Raider (II)) could easily fend off NR corvettes and light frigates. This seems to be somehow overlooked...
