I'm a second owner of a 98 C2500 with this on it. I'm out on the road and just broke the plug reaching to grab my keys I dropped on the floor in the dark. I got it started by holding the chip up to the contacts but now I can go remove it. I figured I was going to have to pray I could find a replacement plug on eBay. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for the videos I have the same prolock unit from 1995. I titled it in youtube and your title eg. (prolock ) repair came up . I have had the same thing happen to me. Thank you so much.
My piece on the dash broke ,was a job to get it started. Thanks for doing this video, I also have a GM I now know which wires to joint without going under the dash. so yea thanks again ..
i have this device in my car...its a 94 chrysler lhs...i never seen one before but i took it off the connector and now the car wont start...its clicking like the battery is dead...i was bout to go get a new battery but ill give this a shot n see what happens...ty for the detailed explanation....liked ( cuz i do like the video) subscribed(cuz i wanna see whats up n comin) and commented (commented cuz i had tosay thanks somehow)
I have a 1994 5 speed F250. After trying to bypass my neutral safety switch I started thinking about this stupid thing and now I’m here in the comment section lol
My Prolock relay is kind of melted and the yellow and red wires were starting to melt together and no my truck won’t start I did what you said to do on your TH-cam video then my wires felt like they were getting hot so I took it off😕 Is there something I’m missing?

Tried this and still won't work? I just drove it came home for 15 mins tried to move my truck and it's "dead"

You’re supposed to tie the two wires looping the ignition back together in a basic sense
The other wires to the pro lock are unused
