Thank You Brother
Hey man, I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure that the Red light is to indicate Power and Green is to indicate Ground. If you have a fuse that lights up green it means its touching ground somewhere Which would indicate a fault in that circuit. All the fuse's in cars fuse panel are to protect 12volts power supply's not negatives. Not trying to police your content just sharing what I've learned.
Good information, thank you. P.s. the intro music before this video was ridiculously loud and sounds like it's coming through a blown speaker.
It is an absolute UNDERSTATEMENT to say that new parts don’t work right out of the box these days. Covid absolutely destroyed quality control. I call it “Covid quality” and it is most definitely a problem. I have gotten so many bad parts over the past 3 years it is unbelievable! And it’s sad to see you can no longer trust brand new parts…
Im getting a .4 and a 1.0 on the 3rd and 4th prong. Is that good or not. Im guessing not since my car ac won’t even turn on, nor receive any power to the control system.
How do you know those values are correct??
Does this also work for a cooling fan resistor?
Hello there, my truck 2010 f150 is working only on high speed, and I already replaced the resistor but it’s still working on high speed, if you have any suggestions where to check, please help out 🎉
What if need to test interior fuse box? Need to plug since the battery? On my PK is on the opposite side so probably will need longer cable
why make the intro music so loud if you're gonna be so quiet
Well done. Short and sweet. I just clicked passed the music. No big deal.
Beautifully explained how to check fuses with this tool bless your soul
I have a 1994 5 speed F250. After trying to bypass my neutral safety switch I started thinking about this stupid thing and now I’m here in the comment section lol
Whats it mean of the fuse is blinking green
You made it sound like that if you receive any ohm reading at each resistor terminal that its still good( the resistor) but what if the terminals all give a reading but just a little lower than specs? Is the resistor good or bad in that scenario? Very confusing Sir.
Luckily for you, you have the TH-cam video editor,so you can out the first 15 seconds of that entire dark reflections intro out of the video, TH-cam will re-render it and the video might be watchable. No one thinks that intro is cool. The rest of the video is fine, but get rid of that stupid intro music.
Don't click on this VID!!! The start music is SCREAMING!!!
Thank you for this video!! Just what I needed. Replaced my HVAC res with a refurbished one bought on line. And the fault is still there!! So, want to check if its shot too.
Thanks so much that was very helpful!!
Great video, thanks for this!
Cool. You can also take pictures on your phone of the fuse diagrams in your manual for easy access. Then keep this tool and some quality fuses (I use littlefuse) in your vehicle. For ten bucks, it's a no brainer.
Thank you I just did this to my 1994 Silverado 🙏
My Prolock relay is kind of melted and the yellow and red wires were starting to melt together and no my truck won’t start I did what you said to do on your TH-cam video then my wires felt like they were getting hot so I took it off😕 Is there something I’m missing?
You’re supposed to tie the two wires looping the ignition back together in a basic sense The other wires to the pro lock are unused
You talk too much
What did you set your OHMs at on your multimeter for your readings? 200? 2k? 20k or 200k
200
does the key have to be on the "on" position in order to test if the fuse is good? also how do you get get a power point inside the the car if the cable is not long enough or can you just ground the black to the body like a normal test light?
I use a pair of cheap Jumper cables to extend the test light inside the vehicle (make sure to tape up the ends between the jumper cables and rest light leads.) also whatever circuit you are testing should be powered up to test it, so usually yes the key should be on.
tf is that stupid intro, foh.
U didn't even show the actual blasting so we could see how it works, wow
No offense car guys...Its called a stepped potentiometer or stepped resistor, not a resistor, in electronics technician talk. A potentiometer is a resistor stepped or variable. A variable resistor would be the volume knob on your radio. This is stepped with fixed resistances.
Thank you
Can this work on the relays?
Good afternoon sir happy blessed sunday hope your day is going well! I'm trying to measure the current draw from this tool here that i have from harbor freight that is called CEN-TECH 6/12 Circuit Tester with 5 ft. Lead part number 63603. Idk if I did it correctly but here is a video I filmed th-cam.com/users/shorts0TInky4gTbA?feature=share. Can you help me out please?
Congratulations after searching all over YT and google, you are the only one I found that shows exactly how to check a blower resister with a basic multi-meter. I just put a brand new one in my 04 Liberty and it didn't work, blower is still on high, fortunately it's easy to get to. Now after watching your video I checked my old one and two out of four pins shows no OHMs, guess I have to buy another new one, thanks for posting!!!!!!!!!!!
I forgot to add to this post, a few days later I put another new resister on my Jeep from Auto Zone, the blower is still working like it should. I sent the bad new resister back to Rock Auto and they refunded my money....
Thank you for this. This helped me a lot !
The cameraman filmed so terribly that it makes the viewer nervous. All your efforts are wasted on this horrible filming.😡😡😡🤬
Der Kameramann hat so schrecklich gefilmt, dass es den Zuschauer nervös macht. All Ihre Bemühungen sind mit diesen schrecklichen Dreharbeiten verschwendet. 😠😡🤬

Thanks man
Is it bad to take it off all the time this thing actually helps me since my neighborhood is pretty good .
💩💩💩
Lol the Whisper did it for me. Great video
i bought this same one last night.
I will buy tiny vacuum accessory pieces and use my finger with a damp rag over this all day.
Two bolts Dip them in pair remover , stripper Thanks for making the video But look next time You should mention what media you are using What type of compressor and output is required Which explains why you said slow !
Would this work on a 1994 Ford f150
Good. Make more please.
Ok it says negative when green light is on so how is it good?
Thank you for the videos I have the same prolock unit from 1995. I titled it in youtube and your title eg. (prolock ) repair came up . I have had the same thing happen to me. Thank you so much.
Can it be used to check for spark on ignition coil or spark plugs?
yes
Some negative comments, completely missing the point of this video, great job on your video brother !
