Another great video. I have been looking for a way to test backup cameras. I have only been back installing for about six months and in that short amount of time I've had to trouble shoot previous installs either from my shop or other shops and this will come in handy. Plus it will allow me to cut down install time by being able to test the camera on new installs.
How does one test the really cheap Chinese backup cameras with the weird barrel 4-pin connector ?

I have a question, I install my rear view camera, it woks if car in on position /Reverse but if I start the car and reverse there is no video.
have you seen this before? and how do I fix?

I did use reverse light, the red cable was attached to the reverse light and black cable to ground.

Will I get any voltages reading in the video ground or it will remain 0V on the video ground?
I have a soundstream vrn-74hb radio and I will like to use the mobile link but idk what wire I need to use the mobile link I have a (Samsung galaxy j7) phone is there a wire for that phone?? need help
Doing research on your radio looks like Mobile link is Sound Streams name for Mirrorlink. Most new phone are no longer using that technology or have moved on to a version no longer support by the radio manufacturers. Pioneer had similar issues with their radios. The new technology is called MiraCast and uses an HDMI input something your radio does not have built in. Another factor in this is Android Auto, it has become the winner for sharing maps, music, and phone to your radio. There again a feature your radio unfortunately does not support. Understand this is not what you were hoping to hear, sorry we could not be more helpful.

looking to buy a table router. any ideas on one that's good but won't hurt my wallet too bad?
I use the JessEm router lift and made my own table. ( good idea for a video). Spend the money on a great lift, it will be totally worth it.
