I was going out of my skull trying to figure this out. The games look so much better, it’s really much more enjoyable to play them now. Thanks for the great content!

Great tutorial, thanks! I was getting really put off with how pixilated the psx games were looking and this fixed it perfectly!

Shades look better and also more realistic to what it looked like back in the day, my setting is bsnes gamma ramp, phosphor gamma, crt-pi with linear filtering.

How did you get on with Mission Impossible? I tried to use the enhancements on my RPI 3B and it suffered quite a bit of slow down 😩

Same thing here I have not updated the bios but did the other menu mods but now have huge slowdowns on my Pie 3B. I am waiting for heatsinks to arrive but its not in an enclosure yet so maybe its just the limitations of the 3B?

I was having a hard time with a specific PSX BIOS not being able to be uploaded through the RetroPie Web Manager even though when opening the PSX folder it said it was needed. Why it took this video to remind me that I can also use Windows Explorer to access the folders I have no idea because I knew this already but thank you very much! I'm going to blame it on old age and carry on. My PSX games work now. 🙂

That’s crazy that tenchu gane was my favorite as well. Yeah I have a raspberry pi 3B plus and I’m just trying to find a way to make the N64 and ps1 games run more smoothly. I bought mine as a plug-in play so I don’t wanna get involved with a computer or anything. I’m wondering what I can do just buy manipulating the settings from the system itself. But yeah I bought mine for $110 with a NES RETRO FLAG case/. It’s badass! 📺 🕹️

I like your tutorials, very easy to follow along. However, I have a issue with some videos, especially this one: your menu has way more options than mine does. The options you use in this video are not available to me. Any clue what may cause this?

Same here, I don't have the options settings available to me. Any tips for a fix?

@@TheDroneZoneIRL Same here, also looking for a fix, I'm sure they changed it for a reason but going into > Controls > Port Controls - and changing one to Dualshock makes it not recognise the controller anymore

That looks a lot better now. I was wandering if you could do a video on setting up memory as at the moment I can't do game saves.

Just setting up retro pie now. It already plays ps1 games, is there still an advantage by putting the new ps1 bios on it? Or is that only a step you do if it is not working in the first place?

Do i need to save anything after changing the settings or do i need to set this up before every game

Hi here, thanks for the vid. I'm using a PiBoy DMG and I've managed to set it up ok so far. Been running PS games on it, but I can't see how to access the menu with the green border. No combination of buttons seems to work.

Personally, I use the SCPH-7502 bios, over the SCPH1001.

Unfortunately I've been out of China since the pandemic. I'm going back as soon as I can. I've been stuck at home. I went home for Chinese New Year last year and haven't been able to get back.

I have a quick question. I notice this little battery pack icon on the upper right corner of my RetroArch setting and awhile back it was at 90 percent and now it’s dropping at 30 to 20. I also notice that my game is running slow when I turn off threaded video which before it used to improve it with resolution options being enabled. Does that battery pack percentage have anything to do with slowing down the emulator and does it recharge or do you need to configure it?

Shaders are cool. There’s a lot to go through. Might be a whole other video.

I know basically nothing about Raspberry Pi and very little about emulators in general. I have played around a little with SNES emulators but it's been several years. I've been curious about something like this to play some PS1 games. How difficult do you think it might be for someone like me to set something like this up? I'm pretty dumb so I'm worried it'd be too difficult.
I'd probably just buy one of these already set up if anyone sold them. I've found some handheld devices that play older games but most aren't playable on TV.

It's actually very easy to set up I have a guide here th-cam.com/video/pSiRlB2oKN8/w-d-xo.html You can check that out and assess how hard you it is
