I have found that everyone suffers with addiction in different ways, we just suffer from a drug one. I journeyed my detox/ withdrawal off heroin from day 5 all the way to the present. I have journaled many experiences and have shown many of my stories on my channel. During this process I have learned much and continue to learn. I have found that we addicts need new people, places and things for sure!
People Overdosing and dying from addiction is real! I detoxed off heroin and know what its like to be stuck and not be able to stop using drugs. Intervention is sometimes necessary because I know the mind of an addict first hand. The way these drugs feel consumes the addict and they cannot think of stopping and follow through without proper help from others.
Addiction can be overcome. Cocaine, alcohol, benzos, adderal, ecstacy, opioids, heroin, steroids & mushrooms are just some of the drugs that I have tried. I wasn't addicted to all of those listed but I have experimented with these. The war on drugs is stupid and the stigma on drug addicts needs to change in order to help the drug addiction issues within America.

Beautiful brother. I've been on methadone for 10yrs and hope to get completely clean one day soon. Although I've been very successful on methadone and haven't use anything other then methadone the whole 10yrs. One day soon I'll be off this crap too.

I used to do coke and joyride my neighbors 4wheeler and get chased by the cops around town. Good times. Anyway I'm glad your doing better... keep us updated it helps alot of people, me included. Bless up guys hope I see 1 of u guys again one day

Derek I'm surprised you were ever an addict because you seem very strong willed. What was your story, did it start with dr prescriptions? It's people like you that kids could from as a preventative. Maybe talks at schools when students are at that vulnerable age. I have always wondered why schools dont have anyone like yourself to educate the students. It's usually a nurse but that wouldn't have an impact because they haven't gone through it personally.

I think his videos tell an incredible story of strength and choices. I just wish there was a way to influence the thinking of an addict full of excuses who doesn’t really WANT to change.
maribeth merton Yes you are right that is the key. How to influence and change their self loathing way of thinking too. Such a shame because some of them are amazing people just lost their way in the path of life. I think it also comes down to who you let influence you. If a so called friend wants you to get high with him, well he ain't no friend I'm sorry, because I would never ever want my friend copy my bad habits, I would say do me a favour and dont do it.
Why is everything that feels good bad for your health? Sucks
