But at the moment I have a pro, switch and Xbox, I'm not a fanboy of any company, this gen I prefer Sony. That only because I feel as a customer Sony is good to me, I get good games with plus, the exclusive are great and they seem against loots boxes and microtransactions. It doesn't mean if Sony started to be ass holes I wouldn't change my mind. I honestly don't understand why anyone would be loyal to multinational corporation if they continue to be shit to you?
I never understand why people defend their platform like its their own child. Its just a device that plays games.
Because like Gundamn said, these people having nothing going on in their lives so they cling to these consoles for an identity.
People always defend their choices. Because if they admit they was wrong or didn't make the best decision that causes dissonance in their mind. Sometimes people still argue till death even if they already know they are wrong, for the exact same reason.
I’m never going to defend and go all insane like some people do with their platforms. I like PS4, that’s what I’m comfortable with. But it doesn’t mean that everyone should buy a PS4. Just play on whatever you enjoy.
As a PlayStation user, I will not get a PS5. Paying an online fee while already paying for Broadband Internet is ridiculous. Much rather switch to PC to get a crack at Microsoft exclusives.

The reason to buy consoles is exclusives imo. Mostly each platform has a reason to get it imo. Ps4 has Persona 5 (also on ps3 though), Bloodborne, and Horizon Zero Dawn. Switch has Mario Odyssey and upcoming SMT 5. PC has emulation of countless amounts of games and too much exclusives to name. Being a gamer nowadays is better than ever due to the shear amount of amazing games that exist.
Horizon Zero Dawn is an ubisoft open world game that people have deluded themselves into thinking it's good because of a few reasons, it's not made by ubisoft, it's a PS4 exclusive, and it has a (ugly) female protagonist with a stupid name.
SMT5 is also going to be on ps4.

Actually Mini-Jay I got a PS4 so I could play Persona 5 and the Yakuza games, and maybe Kingdom Hearts if that ever actually comes out.
As to Horizon Zero Dawn I have no need to buy it, I redboxed that shit and it's so Ubisoft I had to double check that Guerilla wasn't owned by them (surprisingly they weren't.)
If you like Ubisoft games good for you, but frankly I'm a bit tired of them.

I haven't played on XBox or PC in years (I have two PS4's) but I know I'll be getting an XBox Series X cause I want to play Fallout 5 and Elder Scrolls 6 when they come out. I bet JayTech didn't like that Microsoft bought Bethesda.

PC is a much better experience not to mention the fact there is a lot more and better mods for games like Elder Scrolls and Fallout.

Most PC gamers don't even think about platform exclusivity. It's a matter of "Do I play this or not?" and that's all there is to it.

There is plenty of stuff to play on pc and if there isn't anything new out that looks interesting there will always be a mod for some old game or you can always try a game on the cheap that you haven't tried before.
And when you are lucky enough to own a oculus or a vive you have plenty of other games to choose from as well.

I used to be a PlayStation exclusive gamer. Then I switched to PC, I think I'm better off for it. No more PS+ subscription fee, no more limits on how the game that I bought can or cannot look, no more "current gen titles only" BS or waiting on some games to get remastered so I can play what I want where I want. The only subscription fee that I need to pay attention to anymore is Netflix, and thanks to other digital distribution channels for movies and television, THAT is slowly becoming less and less of a problem(thank you, Vudu).

You said what I did lol. I'm a PC/Xbox user but when Spider-Man PS4 was announced and people said I couldn't play it, I picked up a PS4 and got the ultimate edition of Spider-Man. Now I can play anything I want, I have to admit Sony got me to pay for one of there console's since the PS2.
I have a PS4 pretty much for HZD and RDR2. I have a few other games on it, but mostly just for the hell of it. It saves space on my PC.

I Remember that I was once playing the Amazing Spiderman Tie-In game in my Nintendo 3DS at the Dinner room in my workplace right. And then, a guy that is an infamous Sony Fanboy sees me playing it and says "What up dude, are you also grieving that the Insomniac's Spiderman game isn't coming out of PS4?" To which I answered "It already came out? I didn't knew, I just saw a review of the movies and wanted to tried out the games." He continues with "Yeah, Is so cool, so full of action, you will never see it outside Sony. You have never seen a Spiderman game like that!!!" I responded with " I don't know. It's Spiderman! You cannot do much with the character gameplay wise." The conversation devolved into your typical Sony Fanboy selling points. I shut it down with a "I like Spiderman games dude. But I would never, ever! Buy a game console for a Spiderman Game. I prefer portable gaming. I hate being shackled to a TV, and I don't have the patience for Dark Souls style gameplay, so there is nothing for me on PS4."
And in the end. It's a Spiderman game. People call it Arkhan Spiderman because they added that perfect combo-parry-finisher move combat that the Square-Enix Batman Games had, and neither that is new to the game, I was already on the Amazing Spiderman Games, plus, didn't they said the wouldn't shove micro-transactions onto it. Just to announce about two months before release that it would have a season pass?
