    Hey Gundam,
I'm a garbage truck driver. I listen to TH-cam in my earpiece at work. Sometimes I sit pulled over searching and searching for something to listen to.
But when your video comes up on my feed, I can confidently click, put my phone away and get back to work.
Just wanted to let you know.

and homies say I dont know the working class, fuckers; we ARE the working class. These homies are so spoiled and ruined the value of labor with their BS. fr man. like.. homie... taxes shouldn't even be a thing for stuff like your doing or for construction or manufacturing. It's these spoiled city folks that ruined the value of the dollar that makes our work worth PENNIES when it's US that runs society. It's fucking INSANE to me, like I'm convinced this crap is being influenced on purpose. I know I was stupid as a kid as well but im 31 now and well... What a lie we were fed.

    • @mirceazaharia2094
      @mirceazaharia2094 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

In theory, yes, it can work. If enough people become disinterested for long enough, if they also have children and raise them to despise the modern world's bad quality culture, and enough people across multiple generations check out of the mass-produced corpo-crap, then they will suffer greatly.
Add in independent creators to the mix, and alternate / parallel distribution / publishing / payment processing platforms, and they are finished.
But we must willing to maintain the boycott in the very long term and prepare all of the necessary skills, talent and infrastructure needed to create viable, better alternatives to them, and even to replace them.

leia was tortured by vader himself without any space powers to defend her, and didn't so much as crack. her fucking will was commendable. compare that to rey who somehow got the magic powers spontaneously and didn't have much of any plot development as a character

Snow White and the 7 Dwarves of 1937 changed cinema forever and it is part of the first class of the National Film Registry in 1989 alongside with films such as Casablanca, Citizen Kane, Gone with the Wind, Star Wars, The Maltese Falcon, Singin' in the Rain, The Wizard of Oz, Dr Strangelove, The General, On the Waterfront and 14 other films that set the bar on what cinema should be and since then no film has come even close to the greatness of the class of 1989(the gold standard).
The 1937 one will forever be the 2023's superior in all respects and the 1937 one will be remembered as a timeless classic(getting close to 90 years now) while the 2023 one will be forgotten.

Also, "skin as white as snow" is LITERALLY the reason for her name, if she isn't pale white, it doesnt work. They rewrote the story so much, just call it Princess Woke and make it a different thing.

Naturally, despite being so successful a few years later DC decided to do _Infinite Frontier_ which introduced a bunch of new "diverse" characters and brought in new writers, almost all of whom suck. While being unemployed and no money coming in majorly sucks, I hope this strike is a wake up call for the studios and hopefully an opportunity for some kind of reform or rethink of how these productions are produced.
Because for a while now profit seems to be the only real priority, at the expense of quality and the craft. Way too many productions are poorly written, beloved classic franchises hijacked for ideological propaganda purposes, numerous poorly created nonsensical prequels or sequels, the fixation on the ever stagnating superhero genre.
The entire Film and TV entertainment industry is an utter train wreck and has been this way for quite some time …… I can only hope that progress in these negotiations are made soon, and a reasonable deal is reached. Additionally I hope the studios have both the introspection and self awareness to acknowledge how much damage they’ve done to their own reputation, the entire industry and all the creative artists who work within it, and recognise that drastic changes in its culture are urgently needed. We need to fall in love with filmmaking, and storytelling again. There needs to be less greed and joyless preachy ideological indoctrination. Because right now many of us are “not entertained”. And that is what this industry is fundamentally for …..

@@darkmetal2412the show itself is pretty mid and the writing is too childish for my taste. I genuinely don't get the praise of "not edgy superman" for once when Clark is usually normal outside of DCU liveaction movies plus I can't get over Lois, Livewire or Deathstroke's designs. Jimmy is exactly what I expected they'd do to him since modern shows despise redheads now a days, the weirdest thing is why pick Slade of all the people to be an antagonist to Superman? Like Slade isn't even in the same league in terms of power, majority of Clark's villains are superpowered or aliens (with the exception of Lex) for a reason. Slade is an assassin that thrives in the crime underworld of DC, that's why he works so well against Batman. Clark has a whole rogues gallery of more dangerous villains. And Clark trying to "discover" himself makes no sense since he spent years of his life training beforehand otherwise he'd never be able to live a normal life or in a highly populated area like Metropolis. The show is really predictable and kinda boring for me, if I wanted to watch pseudo anime then I'd rather just go watch actual anime with a better story.

Since I liked the show years ago, I was curious about the guy who shows the check from Bones, and decided to dig a little. His name is Page Kennedy and was small character in ONE episode in 2010 ("The Bones on the Blue Line") who's only part was to be interrogated for a cumple of minutes. So, twenty-three years later, he's still getting money for a glorified cameo. And he complains!

What pisses me off about the snow white actress is, if Disney had said "we are doing a live action 1:1 shot for shot remake of the cartoon, here is the script- start memorizing" she would have shut up, grabbed the check, and learned to sing "some day my prince will come." And just smiled and waved and talked about how faithful to the source material the new movie was during the press tours. She is spouting all this SJW "modern audiences" crap because that's what Disney wants her to say, so the film will and should fail. I've been saying it since I was a kid, "Disney sucks, death to the house of mouse."

It makes sense to me to complain about books not being faithful since you want to visually see the story happen instead of just reading.

@swampdonkey1567 No, it’s still creatively bankrupt. I’ve watched “feminist” and “modern” Snow White before, hundreds of times. Yet Disney somehow manages to choose the most bland and vapid retelling everytime. The only live action version of their movies that was the correct amount of different was The Jungle Book except for the “Wanna be like you” number which was awful. But I digress. Different is only good if it’s coherent and interesting. If it deviates thoughtlessly just for the sake of deviation then it’s a valid mess.

It's still free money for doing next to nothing, though. I read somewhere that like 90-95% of actors can never quit their day jobs. Only like 5-10% are regularly employed. Same for writers, too. They live several months off of one check for one gig, trying to find another gig to survive another few months. So even among the entertainment industry itself, the level of ego and narcissism from the top 5% is insane, cause the overwhelming majority of actors and writers don't "make it" in the industry.
