since Star Ace botched their Homelander, I guess all of the 3rd party companies had to jump in to prove how much better they could make him. And yes, they are getting progressively better.
Yep and no matter which one you go for they’re all better than Star Ace!
This would definitely be a little bit of a challenge for hot toys to surpass thanks Justin for all the great home lander reviews.

Agreed its a worthy upgrade
I love these headsculpts, honestly the most accurate yet I think. At least most of them, some of the more expressive ones are a bit much and lose the likeness like what you discussed. The UV light gimmick I think is very cool but I do wish that the pupils were able to be orangish/yellow color and possibly some of the red paint around the eyes to show that heat traveling and giving it just that extra oomph. Super solid figure otherwise

A screen-printed pattern over a fabric suit, that's how Hot Toys makes Henry Cavill Superman figures, definitely better than Premium Toys rubber suit(which they also used for Superman & Lois figures, and it already tears and bunches a lot for people).

I love the figure. The drape of the cape looks natural, defined faces, the hair color is more accurate, and the abs are better than the Premium toys version.

Are you able to determine if the neck is removable? I have a custom homelander sculpt I’d love to use but if not, satisfied with what we get!!
Yes it is, you can pop the neck out its on a ball joint at the base of the neck like I said in the articulation segment. If you have another head with neck attached you can get that on there
great figure but homelander is of an alpha than a sigma
anyways I dont think the war is over until a toy company gives a homelander with uv laser beams as accessories

You didn't explain the light up feature later on and why the screws are there for.
8:30 he explains that the eyes are UV instead of LED, the screws were to fill in the LED function on the original head sculpts.

I am always confused by your reviews, want a metal name plate, don’t want a plastic one, but will prefer a blank one then a plastic or metal, I’ll never understand things, want perfect accuracy to films and comics, but with added detail that isn’t accurate is ok, never understand your way of thinking
Ok so let me break it down. I love a good nameplate, but not one that says some random crap like ' the sigma' so I'd prefer nothing to that.
As for the detail thing, it varies greatly per figure. Sometimes adding something is needed to successfully translate a design to 3d figure format
