I should’ve mentioned that the blue pendant at the end seems to have Powder and Ekko’s faces hidden in the flower. Also, Corrections: The Green necklace is Vi’s. Heimerdinger says days not years (script error). Doubt that the Innovator Contest emblem is also Piltover’s academy emblem. Thanks to everyone who helped out❤
In the scene with their kiss, Ekko says, 'You ever wish you could just stay in one moment?' The dance scene between Ekko and Jinx is animated at 4 frames per second, and 4 seconds represents the limit of his time rewind. It feels as though 4 frames per second symbolizes the limit of how long he can stay in a single moment.
In my mind powder keeping the hex gems locked away in the drawer marked for VI, is like her locking away the thing that killed her sister. Adding Ekko's gift in there could also be showing that she has "closed the drawer" on that path in her life. It's as if Powder is the reason the hex will not ruin the world. She's seen what it can do not only through Vi's death but Heimers as well. It calls back on the line powder and ekko say to each other about letting go. Reinforced by powder saying she is happy with who she is, and doesn't want to lose herself in order to chase some dream despite what she could do with her intelligence . In this world Powder is more confident in who she is, unlike Jinx who was always in need of some outside source to feel whole which in part, is what caused the whole issue with the main timeline.
Viktor states that every outcome is the same in the end, all but one. The blue dragonflies are atop the hexgate in Jayce's future as well, the same ones that are shown when Ekko takes Powder to the mural. I'm pretty sure that Jayce, Ekko and Heimer all landed in the same universe, only at different points. Jinx becomes the creator of Hextech.
@lizardking9529 That's a good point about the dragonflies, but I imagine vicktor wasn't as all-knowing as he thought because the current viktor didn't forsee ekkos z drive. He even states, "That device can not be" Though it's also possible, the future viktor sent ekko and heimer to that timeline in order to create the z drive in the first place. Much like he brought jayce to see the future bad outcome. Thus making what he said true, that all timelines arrive to that same end of the world result. Viktor was the writer of arcane all along 😆 Edit: It also makes me wonder how Victor would become what he becomes in each timeline
I found the song's lyrics the most interesting The scene is very romantic, the song just screams "love song" But then I put the lyrics into a translator and it tells a very different story "that day when I met you, I would perhaps have preferred, that this day never came," "from you I should move away," "but my best enemy is you, run away from me, the worst is you and me," It's like the song is talking about them from Ekko's world, those who should not cross paths, those who fought on that bridge Am I overthinking it because I love the song? Possibly But I think it's very poetic
I think there’s even more to it than that. In this timeline, Ekko gets powder to help him build his Z-Drive. At the end of the episode when Powder puts away her necklace, she looks at the hextech crystals in a way that implies she plans to do something with them. I think that by introducing hextech to Powder and showing her that it can be used for time travel, Ekko accidentally doomed this timeline to tragedy too. Powder will become the inventor of hextech and perhaps even try to go back in time to save Vi, and the cycle will repeat itself. Ironically, this timeline’s Powder meeting the main timeline’s Ekko may have been “a day that should have never come”. If my analysis is correct, then this episode is much more haunting and tragic than it initially appears to be.
@@chickensalad3535Damn man you got a point. I think Powder having gone back in time to save Vi actually happened already. Like someone pointed out, if you go back to S1E1 it's obvious the explosion caught Vi, but then in the next shot she's fine as if nothing happened. This would be 4d chess levels of foreshadowing. Just like the subtle hints in the end indicating Jinx is alive, the subtle hints in this episode really give it a new meaning 😢
@@yordandoykov3181 That would be crazy but entirely possible. Everything about Arcane is next level. The idea that the main cast is doomed in every timeline is really depressing, but also beautiful in a tragic sort’ve way.
Everyone is missing the part where Heimerdinger says he was there for 1128 DAYS! At first, I thought I misheard it in the show, but after rewatching he clearly says days. It makes sense because he lists his time in the day - hour - minute, it would not make sense for him to list it as year - hour - minute and just skip over days.
09:00 actually if you revisit EP1 of S1. You can see that the gemstone's explosion in S1 blows Vi away, seemingly killing her, but then she appears to be ok in the next scene, as if nothing happened. I suspect this is exactly where this EP7 universe diverged from the one we're following. In fact, it seems that EP7 universe is a more proper and true one, if we go by that scene.
That's exactly what I thought. Since Jayce went into the future and not a different timeline, I assume then that Ekko just went so far back in time that he undid Powder's correction of the timeline while also simultaneously causing it in the first place by introducing her to hextech. The time loop starts with Ekko from a supposedly different timeline using hextech for time travel and teaching Powder how to use it too by proxy. Powder then likely uses it to save Vi from the original explosion, causing all of the current timeline to take place. This also explains a little more on Jinx's words to Ekko when she tried to unalive. Her saying he was too late, as if expecting him. And also explains why she took his words from Powder as an acceptable reason to live on. She may recall deep down saying those words with him before. The irony of this if it's true is that Ekko may be the entire reason for his ending where he is alone. Him leaving that universe to begin with would have literally caused the current events to take place. As Silco said, ending the cycle of violence requires you to walk away and Ekko, out of love, refused to do that
@@izzythesqueeker7901wow, just wow, this is so smart but when you enter someones timeline you enter the body of the person(like ekko was entering the body of ekko from the other timline) so then old powder must have gone into the body of young powder and i dont really get how that would work out with saving vi, as we dont see anything about young powder actually waking up again or something in her own body in se1 ep1 So it is a really good theory but its still a gamble
"Pretend like it's the first time" For me indicate that Ekko knows that Ekko in that reality and Powder are in relationship and have obviously kissed before, thus our Ekko said that. Cause that kiss might be not the first time for Powder and Ekko in that reality, but it is for Ekko on the main universe. I think the blue and pink shows duality for the character. Powder in this universe doesn't seem confused about her identity. I think blue represent her being this person people can rely on. And pink is more playful and unpredictable. In the main universe, blue represent Jinx being a hero. And in this universe, she wears pink nail polish and make up when attending the party. In the main universe, Jinx color palette always has blue and pink at the same time. And she's always being potrayed as bipolar. In this universe, shill wear weather blue or pink. Which i think shows the mental stability of Powder in this universe.
Do we get sad that our Jinx/Powder didn't get to be happy in her own timeline, or happy that in at least one timeline Powder gets to be happy? This episode was amazing. Especially towards the end were Ekko embraces the moment were he both gets a chance say his piece to the ones he loves, and gets to have an amazing night with a version of his lost childhood friend/potential lover. Alternative Powder gave him the hope he needed to go back and fight for "his own" version of Powder.
Unfortunately, I don’t think she’s happy in this timeline either (or won’t be happy, that is). There is a possible implication of Ekko accidentally dooming this timeline too. At the end of the episode Jinx looks at the hextech crystals in a way that I think implied she was getting ideas. Learning that time travel is possible was probably the catalyst for the Jinx in this universe to try and replicate it, perhaps to save Vi.
@chickensalad3535 I mean, wasn't this episode kinda there to show that there actually is a version of a good and happy Powder. I didn't really get the feeling that she wanted to do something with the hex tech crystals there at the end. She placed Ekkos pendant next to the stones in the memorial like she was closing that chapter. Content with the fact that she knows he helped him and how good she has it in her reality compared to original Ekko. She's smart, mentally stable and confident in this reality so she for sure must have picked up on all the hints about original Ekkos universe. From how jumpy he was from the start, to how loving he suddenly was to everyone but her and to how he was clothed in his apocalyptical outfit instead of academic clothing. She also had those crystals all along without telling them. Like they held sentimental value to her. She was probably also curious as to why Ekko was suddenly so interested in this type of technology, hence why she keeps eying him while laying weirdly behindhand him on the sofa during the build scene. I do agree that now there definitely is a chance and possibility for her to meddle with hex tech, but to me, it really did seem like she was saying farewell to original Ekko and the idea of hex tech by placing his flower pendant next to the hex tech crystals in Vi's drawer. However there is a bunch of hints like how she gets so allured by the crystals knowing what they can do for her and Vanders speech about doing something big or for herself could definitely hint towards her going down the hex tech path.
In ep 9 after Ekko talks Jinx down from blowing herself up we never see them again until the final battle. Fast forward to post balloon crash and Vi and Jinx are back to back before Warwick attacks. Jinx says to Vi, "You don't get it sis, I'll always be here. Even if we're worlds apart." Then Vi gives her a confused, what are you talking about look. This HEAVILY implies that Ekko told Jinx about his experience in the alternate timeline and how different she was. I think it was ep8 during Vi and Jinxs conversation in the jail cell Jinx says there's no version of her that is good but Ekko explains to her that there is. All of this I think adds to and reinforces the idea that she didn't die at the end. Ekko showed her the version of her that was good and in that version we saw there was no Vi. Silco's advice. The will to walk away to break the cycle. She had to let Vi and Vander go. Along with all the other clues I'm sure everyone has seen by now that no Jinx didn't die but walked away from her past to make the version of her that is good.
@@chickensalad3535 I interpreted that scene as Powder hides the crystal as a memento of her sister and places the necklace from 'our Ekko' as she realized the probably understood that he's gone and she's mourning him too. But instead of getting ideas, she's hiding it to 'leave it behind' and mourn it alongside the memory of VI.
Small correction: the green choker necklace alternate timeline Powder is wearing is the same one baby Vi had on in the first scene of season 1-Ekko didn’t give it to her.
Powders necklace is actually Vi's, you can see it on a painting of Vi in her shrine at Powders lair and also on paint style Vander memories in episode 6. Also, she is not turning into Jinx there. That timeline is where she is a grown up Powder, pink color represents Vi, thus one hair streak is also pink. She cannot turn into Jinx because Jinx was created by years and years of torment. Powder has a happy life in this timeline.
I agree, but I also think that there is a possible implication of Ekko accidentally dooming this timeline too. At the end of the episode Jinx looks at the hextech crystals in a way that I think implied she was getting ideas. Learning that time travel is possible was probably the catalyst for the Jinx in this universe to try and replicate it, perhaps to save Vi.
1128 days = 3 years. Anywho, great catch on the record! I did not see that. And the vander/jinx death flag. the jinx blimp. You caught so many good ones
One thing about the Alternate Universe where Violet died is that it seems to be going really well. Everything seems great in Piltover and Zaun. But that's literally just one city. And the prosperity of the city without the power to protect itself would eventually lead Noxus to coming over and ruining everything. Either Noxus or the Void, or the event with the Shadow Isles in the future... It also kinda implies that the current timeline is actually before or during the war between Noxus and Ionia. There's also stuff happening in the north, the south, Bilgewater... Basically the whole world is on fire, but for the moment, Piltover and Zaun seem to be having a brief if not ultimately tragic peace.
16:28 dragonflies symbolize change in views/perspective! and acceptance in that change as well, in which I believe to be very fitting for both of the scenes they showed up in. With the mural of vi, the dragonfly symbolizes how this timeline is a change in perspective, showing what zaun could’ve been. And in the scene with jayce, it shows his change in view about the what viktor did and his perspective on it. The details in this show are amazing
Yeah easily my favorite episode of act 3, it was really cute, it was a episode focused on my favorite character, and although a little fanservicey, It was done in a good way and the episode was overally still plot relevant. So glad to know timebomb is canon somewhere
Powder had a pink streak of hair representing vi? Also in ep9 jinx had purple streaks in her hair‚ rising up from a powder chair. Could that mean she's not killing either side but instead choosing to embrace both? Edit: nvm it was the jinx chair not powder chair I totally saw it wrong
ugh i thought her pink streak was such a sweet omagge to vi :( but the purple probably does symbolize that . purple is also the color for neutrality so it could double as her trying to balance out the bad shes done
Some things that me and my bf have seen that are wrong/a stretch (majorly) and I see some people down below saying them as well, but I want to write them all down in order; 14- We think Ekko flinched because Powder touched him, and that it doesn't have correlation to kinks rhyming with Jinx. He's said, and heard the name Jinx a thousand times before, I don't think a rhyme is going to get to him. This is just what I think, I may be wrong though. 20- Days, 1128 Days (Three Years) as everyone is saying 28- That's just not wind blade bro, that's like you saying someone with long braids is supposed to symbolize Jinx, just because their character designs are slightly similar. 30- I believe he sustained more damage than just a sprained leg, but I would need more info to actually say that you're wrong. 35- The ship shown compared to Ambessa's ship is not similar in the slightest. It looks like a normal ship. 39- I don't think anyone didn't immediately recognize that he was at the firelights tree. What other tree would he be at. I think this 'hidden detail' is kinda pointless in terms of the video. 48- The necklace, as everyone here has said, it is the bracelet that Vander had, and Vi used it as a necklace leading to Powder wearing it after Vi died. 51- I believe that Powder's expression doesn't indicate that Ekko might have doomed her reality as well. Powder saw those crystal fragments and immediately recognized it from the crystals that killed Vi. She also made the connection from the crystal fragments to the bag of them she keeps in her drawer, and is confused as of why and how her boyfriend obtained them too, 52- Just because the Vi doll has a seam down the middle of it's face, doesn't mean that Powder made it out of the bunny. I think if Powder had Vi's favorite stuffed animal, she would have kept it untouched on her shrine. So comparing the doll to the bunny is a massive stretch. 63- slight incorporations of the color pink in Powders makeup isn't a telltale sign that she is slowly becoming Jinx?????? It isn't direcly relevant to the pink encoding into her alt reality character 65- Wearing pink nail polish don't mean i'm becoming my psycho alt universe personality. Jinx resulted from the botched job, Milo calling her a Jinx, going through the trauma of killing most the people in her family, and then being confirmed (in her mind) that she is a Jinx by the most important person in her life. I think saying that her change in nail polish leads us to the conclusion that she's becoming Jinx is a huge stretch. My opinion on the nail polish is that it's showing how Powder and Jinx are the same person who just went through different things. It would make sense for them to have the same likes. Powder can indulge in her interests, while it's not a priority for Jinx. 67- In my opinion, I don't think that Powder made the connection that the crystal could make hextech (cuz it didn't exist) because while they used a crystal to help make the anomaly tech, it wasn't exactly 'hextech' per se. If Powder was going to replicate anything, it would be the tech that Ekko and my man Dinger made to create a tiny wild rune, which Ekko then used to return to his timeline. This could open up the prospect of multidimensional travel. That in itself could be dangerous, but I don't think it's something Ambessa would soon come to take over piltover for. 68- I think the X stitching could be a complete stretch, but that's just what I believe. Disclaimer, this comment is in no way claiming that all of these are wrong. It's just the differences in view. Just because you may disagree with any of the points i made, does not mean that you are wrong. The only mistake(s) that are actually fact or are obviously untrue is number 20, 35, 48. r.i.p my man dinger
The necklace was Vi's, and it's part of what seems to be Powder's mission to embody the character of Vi in this universe, so her protectiveness and caretaking live on in a world that no longer needs her scrappiness. I think the pink isn't her transforming into JINX, it's her finally feeling like she did VI justice, or got closure from the project itself, and is now willing to let go, even if she'll always be "the dirt under her nails", or in this case ON them. I don't think Powder is turning into JINX, more like she's turning into JAYCE. As for Silco's eye, I think Vander brokered a deal with Piltover and fixed it to the degree they could as an apology, a final gesture of reconciliation for having almost killed him. Silco repays it by paying for his rehabilitation from the self--defensive slash. They literally mend each other's wounds.
Other one he didn't mention: Jayce's leg that he breaks is the one Victor has disabled. I like the symbolism of the scene where Jayce crawls out of the fissure he fell into, because that completely inverts their paths; Victor's disability is one of the motors behind his scientific undertaking, which lead him to crawl out of the fissures and ultimately lead to the final destruction, and Jayce's scientific undertaking are what sent him to the fissures he had to crawl out of, and made him caused him to experience a leg injury that crippled him for a time. This also relates their future endeavours when Jayce returns to the timeline; their respective pursuits don't reflect good or evil as much as personal struggles being exteriorized through the conflict.
am pretty sure that powder having alot of pink in her outfit and hair is her way of keeping vi in her memory even when "they are worlds apart" and she doesnt have the doll close. this is based on the fact that powder/jinx hair is always a reference to her caregiver/gaurdian angel, in season one her hair excluding the tails is almost exactly how silco's hair looks. so its not farfetched to look at her hair being in reference to vi who died instead of her becoming jinx
Season 1 episode 1 on the bridge, look close and you’ll see Vi is wearing that necklace. So Powder is wearing her sisters necklace in the utopia world.
In the machine when ekko and fluffy tryna go home when the annomoly passes by ekko you can see original ekko in the design. But I think you see no changes in fluffy. Also this episode gives off the vibes of the spiderverse films with both Ekko, who kinda sounds like miles, and jinx who kinda dresses how Gwen would at the dance, are the black and white love interests with love spanning across multiverses. Benzo representing uncle Aaron. The music sounds like it would be in spiderverse. It felt like watching qwen and miles kiss. That made me happy.
12:00 This is Vi's necklace from one of the first scenes of the first season when her and Powder were kids and vander took then off the bridge of progress
11:57 the necklace we see powder using is previously used by Vi as a kid (and before that it was Vander’s bracelet. So it was given by Vander, not ekko.)
Powder in the alternate timeline, is going build her own time machine based upon Ekko's design, why? to bring back Vi.... and what happens if Vi lives? we know the rest......
Great video! One detail you missed and i thought is really cool (mainly because Rakan's my main) is that the disk that Gert uses for the music in the Powder and Ekko dance is an easter egg for Xayah and Rakan. It only shows up for a couple of frames, but it has two birds with their colors and some of their traits
that necklace powder wore was actually the same one vi wore in the first bridge scene when they two are kids and run into vander for the first time. but anyway, great video!!
I don't think Powder is gonna repeat the hextech incident, the box with the gems and pendant is a momentum. Something for her to never forget. Its in the song at the end credits
Loving your videos on Arcane! Just a comment, because I just starting rewatching Arcane again. Detail 48, the necklace Powder is wearing is the same one that Vi is wearing in the opening scene of Season 1, Episode 1 when you see her crying as a young kid, so the necklace is actually a way for Powder to remember Vi/keep her close.
Oh also on the moment when you pointed out her blue nails at 2:02. She does the same peace sign flutter above his head that she did above HER head on the bridge fight in episode 7 of season 1.
I think this Powder recreating the anomaly with her crystals and the machines already there is one way a future story can inject her character back in.
I ❤ your video. Here's a theory that I have...Jayce also died in the explosion that killed Vi in the alternate universe. This may also explain why Jayce did not wind up in the same universe as Ekko and Heimerdinger...there was no alternate version of himself to inhabit.
Thanks for this wonderful breakdown of easter eggs. Very insightful. Just wondering, is there any significance to the blue rose pendant powder spins around and places in the drawer alongside the hex crystals? Like who gave it to her? Was it Ekko?
Ekko didn't use earrings but in ep7 you ser him touching and looking at it but on ep9 you see him with earring could that be a memo for thr Promise he made in that universe?
Why does everyone mistake days for years.. I know it felt like 1000 years waiting for Arcane season 2.. but man this is like the 5th video I stumble upon that got that detail wrong.
I have a little theory about why Jayce and Viktor are not in the "good" universe. I actually think that Jayce unalived him self because we know that Viktor came to him because he was Interested in hextech and how they could help a lot of people with it but when it killed vi, Jayce was sent to trail and maybe they didn't exile him, he was in big depression from it so he jumped of the ledge and since Viktor wasn't there to stop him he died...and Viktor also died because there wasn't any cure for his illness if I remember correctly so yeah pretty sad.. ps. So sorry for my English
He probably wouldn't unalive himself tho, because he try to do that when heimerdinger rejected his research project. The story doesn't even really show jayce before the breakin. I think it more likely that he just becomes a normal student and later scientist, who never met Viktor, Mel or anyone else from the cast, he wouldn't even have gotten to know heimerdinger if it wasn't for his hextech. While you could say that jayce was already working on his hextech, but without the help of Viktor I don't think he would've gotten anywhere...
Now that I think of it, Powder ( Alternate timeline) might be the one who will create the hextech. She still got the crystals and she now got a little bit of the knowledge thanks to Ekko and Heime.... In the original timeline, Jinx is able to understand the runes just by looking at their notes. Thats how smart she is. The alternate timeline only looks good now, but one wrong decision- it can also go to sh/t. but the chances are low since Jayce and Viktor in the original timeline do spend a lot of years inventing. and I don't think Powder would want to use something that klled her sister.
I agree. Ironically, I think that Ekko may have doomed this timeline too. Even though hextech killed Powder’s sister, Ekko showed her that it may also be able to bring her back.
@chickensalad3535 The high chance of what she'll do is probably jump from different timelines to see Vi as a grown up, like what Ekko painted. I hope Powder really loves her life now, like what she said. Its not worth it getting into Hextech 😭.
Victor being the mage is my biggest problem with the show if he wanted to stop hextech from corrupting himself then don’t give Jayce the stone stupid then he can’t make hextech
11 / 28 is French toast day [may be related to the animation studio being french, maybe something else. Or the approximate release date for the new series. November 2028. Who knows.
2:26 i think that's Juliette ? She gets an omage at the end of the episode , I think maybe she died during production I might be completely wrong on this btw
16:21 to 16:27 No, no, no!!! That REALLY shouldnt happen, like REALLY. I dont see how it could anyway. The only trauma this powder has is losing VI, and all the factors that turned her to jinx in the main timeline arent here in this timeline. Silco has made up with Vander, shimmer was never invented, no hextech either, the undercity is thriving, she's surrounded by everyone she loves (except VI). What would cause her to turn to Jinx?
@@liza6580 Hmm... I guess she COULD make hextech but i doubt she will. She probably has an idea of the damage hextech caused in alternate Ekko's reality (our Ekko). Besides she said it herself 'sometimes taking a leap forward means leaving a few things behind'. But i did see the look in her eyes when she told Ekko to try going back further and Heimerdinger was like 'we dont want to push a new invention too far too quickly'. She's happy with her life the way it is, and doesnt want to change what makes her who she is chasing some wild dream Powder is smart, and she doesnt strike me as desperate either, so i think she'll be happy with the people she has that her alternate doesnt. It's like the 80/20 thing. Alternate Powder has 80%, the 20% she doesnt have being Vi, Jinx lost 80%, the 20& she HAS being Vi.
another easter egg to add is the frame rate that the dance is is 4 frames per second which is the same for the original timebomb scene and is also the amount of time ekko can go back by.
I noticed in arcane season 2 episode 5, 30:39 The record cover has two kids that look like Annie and Daisy from "ANNIE: Origins" th-cam.com/video/aUTU-GnxVuM/w-d-xo.html Do you think that's a prelude to the next story in the Runeterra? Perhaps it's a story about a group of kids from a magic school in Noxus?
I should’ve mentioned that the blue pendant at the end seems to have Powder and Ekko’s faces hidden in the flower.
Also,
Corrections: The Green necklace is Vi’s. Heimerdinger says days not years (script error). Doubt that the Innovator Contest emblem is also Piltover’s academy emblem.
Thanks to everyone who helped out❤
Okay thank you, I was going nuts trying to figure out what was with the pendant
Also, the type of flower, and the way the pendant has the faces facing away from each other symbolizes a love that cannot be.
Jhin confirmed
4:28 Heimerdinger says 1128 DAYS not years btw
i thought it was years too lmao
im pretty sure its days
Thankyou everyone is getting this wrong
I watch in translation and they translate as year also
Im pretty shure he says days too
In my mind powder keeping the hex gems locked away in the drawer marked for VI, is like her locking away the thing that killed her sister. Adding Ekko's gift in there could also be showing that she has "closed the drawer" on that path in her life. It's as if Powder is the reason the hex will not ruin the world. I found the song's lyrics the most interesting
The scene is very romantic, the song just screams "love song"
But then I put the lyrics into a translator and it tells a very different story
"that day when I met you, I would perhaps have preferred,
that this day never came,"
"from you I should move away,"
"but my best enemy is you,
run away from me, the worst is you and me,"
It's like the song is talking about them from Ekko's world, those who should not cross paths, those who fought on that bridge
Am I overthinking it because I love the song? Possibly
But I think it's very poetic
enemies into lovers is a common romantic trope
Fr
Yes! I actually paused the show to calculate it out; he was there for 3 years before Ekko showed up.
@@aliza_h Yeah, and 3 years for him ain't shit
09:00 actually if you revisit EP1 of S1. You can see that the gemstone's explosion in S1 blows Vi away, seemingly killing her, but then she appears to be ok in the next scene, as if nothing happened. I suspect this is exactly where this EP7 universe diverged from the one we're following. In fact, it seems that EP7 universe is a more proper and true one, if we go by that scene.
YOOOOOO WHAAAAAT
OH
As Silco said, ending the cycle of violence requires you to walk away and Ekko, out of love, refused to do that
Yeah one of the writers, Amanda Overton, noticed that scene and always thought 'whay if Vi actually died instead' so that's how EP 7 was based on
@@izzythesqueeker7901wow, just wow, this is so smart but when you enter someones timeline you enter the body of the person(like ekko was entering the body of ekko from the other timline) so then old powder must have gone into the body of young powder and i dont really get how that would work out with saving vi, as we dont see anything about young powder actually waking up again or something in her own body in se1 ep1
So it is a really good theory but its still a gamble
@@chickensalad3535oh she fs would try saving vi, especially with the emphasis on how great she was in the convo her n ekko had by the mural
Vi wore that necklace in the very first scene of arcane on the bridge. Vander has it around his wrist at some point
I loved this episode and how it was subtly suggested that both ekko and powder/jinx are soulmates
powder, jinx didnt exist
Favorite episode
For sure
Best episode of s2 maybe the whole show imo
She was actually in Jinx's chair.
@@Sah_Katsu_Adomin and this whole time I saw it wrong and being delusional.. 😭 thanks fo the correction
Some things that me and my bf have seen that are wrong/a stretch (majorly) and I see some people down below saying them as well, but I want to write them all down in order;
14- We think Ekko flinched because Powder touched him, and that it doesn't have correlation to kinks rhyming with Jinx. He's said, and heard the name Jinx a thousand times before, I don't think a rhyme is going to get to him. This is just what I think, I may be wrong though.
20- Days, 1128 Days (Three Years) as everyone is saying
28- That's just not wind blade bro, that's like you saying someone with long braids is supposed to symbolize Jinx, just because their character designs are slightly similar.
She also made the connection from the crystal fragments to the bag of them she keeps in her drawer, and is confused as of why and how her boyfriend obtained them too,
52- Just because the Vi doll has a seam down the middle of it's face, doesn't mean that Powder made it out of the bunny.
It isn't direcly relevant to the pink encoding into her alt reality character
65- Wearing pink nail polish don't mean i'm becoming my psycho alt universe personality.
6:30 powder getting freaky with echo in them sketches 😭
ohhhhhh WTF????
😮
Omg, you’re right. How scandalous! 😂
ikr everyone, this might be my favorite episode in all of tv shows.
Fantastic video bro. Glad to see your channel growing! Represent! 🇿🇦
See you in another Riot series my brother. It's a joy and honor have you in my TH-cam subscription
best episode in the entire series
10:32 Maybe a thing that has led to this is that this world should’ve had an enlightened Heimerdinger as counselor for about 3 years
That is, after he had visited Zaun in his timeline
am pretty sure that powder having alot of pink in her outfit and hair is her way of keeping vi in her memory even when "they are worlds apart" and she doesnt have the doll close. this is based on the fact that powder/jinx hair is always a reference to her caregiver/gaurdian angel, in season one her hair excluding the tails is almost exactly how silco's hair looks. so its not farfetched to look at her hair being in reference to vi who died instead of her becoming jinx
The medallion that Ecco gave Powder features Powder and Ecco's face, not just the blue flower.
Great work at catching on and putting it together.
Timebomb stans, we ate well this weekend 🎉
Great video! One detail you missed and i thought is really cool (mainly because Rakan's my main) is that the disk that Gert uses for the music in the Powder and Ekko dance is an easter egg for Xayah and Rakan. It only shows up for a couple of frames, but it has two birds with their colors and some of their traits
that necklace powder wore was actually the same one vi wore in the first bridge scene when they two are kids and run into vander for the first time. but anyway, great video!!
11:56 in the very beginning of season 1 on the bridge, young vi had that necklace on!!
"But we move..." 😹
so much work on your videos, i have been watching your videos for some time now. Much deserved subscribe from me!
Wow, you are doing an amazing work! So interesting and so detailed!!!
the necklace was vi's necklace btw :) nice video
Caitlyn x Vi: We are the best ship!
Viktor x Jace: No, we are!
Mel x Jace: (Cries in the corner)
Ekko x Jinx: Hold our Nukes
Heimer says he's been there for 1128 DAYS not years, idk why so many people misheard this
NO WAY!! The pendant had their faces!!! I can’t unsee that
I don't think Powder is gonna repeat the hextech incident, the box with the gems and pendant is a momentum. Something for her to never forget. Its in the song at the end credits
The pink is for vi
The necklace Powder is wearing was Vi’s when she was a child. You see it in the very first scene of episode 1 and again in the Remember Me flashbacks.
Powder nails are colored in both colors one hand has blue while the other has pink nails because of vi, its the same thing for the pink strand of hair
Didn't notice the necklace connection till now, so it's cool to see these details!
Another amazing video. Keep them coming.
You already know
powder/ekko dance scene also 4 frames per second, sticking to the 4 second theme
Powder/Jinx is doomed in all realities.
My theory to. It’s really depressing; I hope I’m wrong.
11:56 I'm quite sure that's VI's necklace from when she was a kid on the bridge when Vander took them in. no?
Oh also on the moment when you pointed out her blue nails at 2:02. She does the same peace sign flutter above his head that she did above HER head on the bridge fight in episode 7 of season 1.
You miss the hidden drawing in the jewel Ekko gives her in you 69th point!
It's wild that I missed like all of these lol.
11:55 #48, im pretty sure that necklace was originally Vi's, she was wearing it as a child.
I think this Powder recreating the anomaly with her crystals and the machines already there is one way a future story can inject her character back in.
powder's necklace is Vi's necklace in the original timeline, and before that, it was Vander's bracelet
11:55 that's actually Vi's necklace from when they were kids. You can see it in the bridge scene
me to Jinx : i can't fix her
me to Powder (from S2eps7) : she can fix me
48, the neckless is not from Ekko, you can see it in episode 5 on the hand of Vander.
I ❤ your video. Here's a theory that I have...Jayce also died in the explosion that killed Vi in the alternate universe. This may also explain why Jayce did not wind up in the same universe as Ekko and Heimerdinger...there was no alternate version of himself to inhabit.
Or he had killed himself, like he was going to do in the original timeline.
Thanks for this wonderful breakdown of easter eggs. Very insightful. Just wondering, is there any significance to the blue rose pendant powder spins around and places in the drawer alongside the hex crystals? Like who gave it to her? Was it Ekko?
In episode 7 at 29 : 07 you can see Vander has the Vi's face tattoo on his arm. At 33 : 20 the pink lights above Powder look like vials of shimmer.
Did you spot the powder vs jinx mirror image? Your analysis is among the best ive seen.
How do you notice all these details?!
Very impressive
the green pendant she was wearing was from her late mother.
I saw someone say that the necklace powder has in this episode was the same one vi had in the very first act of season 1! so not gifted by ekko
Great video
the necklace that powder wear is Vi necklace in the begining of arcane
12:00 I thought that was vi's necklace? 😲
The necklace you talk about at 11:28 was Vi's. You can see her where it I'n Episode 1.
best episode in the series (ekko is literally me)
😂
11 / 28 is French toast day [may be related to the animation studio being french, maybe something else. Or the approximate release date for the new series. November 2028. Who knows.
Loy feeling a type of way for snowbunnies i see
Audible gasp 😮
2:26 i think that's Juliette ? She gets an omage at the end of the episode , I think maybe she died during production
I might be completely wrong on this btw
How does Ekko’s Vi mural exist in the alternate universe?
Pretty sure he said days not years but 1128 days is still well beyond 3y.
Going back on time to save her sister
@@liza6580 Hmm... I guess she COULD make hextech but i doubt she will. She probably has an idea of the damage hextech caused in alternate Ekko's reality (our Ekko). Besides she said it herself 'sometimes taking a leap forward means leaving a few things behind'.
But i did see the look in her eyes when she told Ekko to try going back further and Heimerdinger was like 'we dont want to push a new invention too far too quickly'.
She's happy with her life the way it is, and doesnt want to change what makes her who she is chasing some wild dream
Powder is smart, and she doesnt strike me as desperate either, so i think she'll be happy with the people she has that her alternate doesnt. It's like the 80/20 thing. Alternate Powder has 80%, the 20% she doesnt have being Vi, Jinx lost 80%, the 20& she HAS being Vi.
Ngl. You are reaching way to far with some of these without any basis in reason.
Seeing adult Powder had incredible pathos.
4:28
1128 days = A little over 3 years
4:28 Wasn’t it 1128 days? Or am I trippin
it was
another easter egg to add is the frame rate that the dance is is 4 frames per second which is the same for the original timebomb scene and is also the amount of time ekko can go back by.
I noticed in arcane season 2 episode 5, 30:39
The record cover has two kids that look like Annie and Daisy from "ANNIE: Origins"
th-cam.com/video/aUTU-GnxVuM/w-d-xo.html
Do you think that's a prelude to the next story in the Runeterra?
Perhaps it's a story about a group of kids from a magic school in Noxus?
where did she get that blue necklace from??
did you watch it in slow motion??
11:58 that's violet's necklace
That's Vi’s necklace
I don't like how she looks in the other time line😈
he actually says 1128 days not years
2:25 my money would be on Vi & Powder’s mum.
