I’ve had quite a few questions about how I’m perking my character so I thought I would show you what he looks like so far. Obviously future more in depth videos will follow but allot of things still need to be tested.
Final offer is actually amazing. The price a vendor adjusts to after a haggle attempt is based on how far down you try to haggle him. With final offer you can haggle down to the lowest possible price and he will drop his offer to about half way down.
that actually makes sense. because the offer they eventually accept is usually always about exactly HALF the difference of your initial haggle, but if you haggle to far right away they quit - this lets you maximize the first haggle every time, and FORCE a full 25% increase in profit/ savings pretty much. never thought of it that way.
@@patwilson2546 that’s true. But after 2500 hours, I’m finally playing hardcore mode and coin is pretty difficult to come by. I know that’ll change here soon tho
This game is a game that brings back real challenge in an rpg. Something the gaming industry needs. Who remembers super challenging games back in the day that never got updates or nerfs? You had to train and actually try in the game. We need more games that challenge us and push our limits. It's how we get better.
Step 1:head back to skalitz once you have a horse. There should be two groups fighting, Step 2: hide until one team wins, and then wait for them to leave Step 3:loot all the armour, don’t loot the weapons unless you want to use anything but a sword. Step 4: head to the armourer, put all your armour in the sell basket, then choose to haggle, and just as the inventory closes open yours and drop everything you chose to sell. He will then pay the money without taking the armour and you can have it as a good set of early game armour, Step 5: train with the mace until strength ten with captain Bernard. Then buy herods sword and learn the riposte Step 6: play normally and the combat skills that are important late game will level, like strength 12 is needed for the best weapon in the game.
The Burgher skill is pretty usefull, this bonus helps immensely to persuade guard when they caught you, also most big battles play in Town, and there is this skill pretty useful as well
Clinch master is one of the more important perks along with strong grip and stronghold. Strong grip and clinch master work whenever you fight hand to hand, while stronghold only applies to shields.
Burgher (title), a medieval, early modern European title of a citizen of a town, and a social class from which city officials could be drawn, - not burgler
i know this is mostly personal preference but i have some objective adjustements to this. first of all don't try to save perks all the time. most of the time you will be able to get all of them anyway, except for the ones that cancel each other like burgher or savage. only save perkpoints when you realy don'T want any of the perks avaiable right now 1. clinch breaker and gravedigger are pretty useful. (gravedigger of course only on a stealthy character) 2. boar is in my opinion either bugged or useless since i can just run into enemies and stagger them even without the skill and with the skill i never noticed any diference 3. you can simply get all teh agility perks, no need to safe the perks there you get enough points for all perks 4. light armor skill is bugged (atleast very inconsistent) 5. you should get sprinter (yes you will drain your stamina faster BUT you are also gonna be faster then the enemies and catch them easier when they are running away and if you choose to run away you will get away from them quicker. don't take marathon man or you will never be able to catch anyone) 6. thickblooded is realy useful. yes you won't start to bleed that easily but if you do you die pretty quick and thickblooded helps with this 7. take lowborn... seriously in the complete game are maybe 5 or 6 speech checks that benefit from it and like a million peasants to talk to. also guards, traders, peasants, townfolk, priests are all lowborn. not even the richest merchants count as highborn the onyl highborn i found was the parish priest godwin and the lord radzig hanush and capron 8. scout is realy useful IF you want to fast travel, even if it's just a bit becasue you will discover more and see enemies from a greater distance 9. wanderer is a bit shit, becasue most of the time you are gonna rent a bed and these have high comfort. onyl take this when you plan on never renting a room or sleep in a real bed. also you are gonna rent a room to acces your chest too so whats the point in renitn g a room when you are going to sleep in the dirt anyway? ;) 10. i personaly don't like the insomniac or ascetic skills, because whenever i get tired i get reminded of saving and once you have that perk you simply won't get tired (but thats just a preference. if you don't like the sleeping and eating mechanics just go for it ^^) 11. i personaly prefer burgher becasue all the traders and houses worth stealing from are in the city or villages. (i also mainly took it for the +1 speech since agi strength and vitality are not that important in my eyes) 12. you can get all points in defense and warfare. 13. i personaly don't like any other weapon then the longsword, so obviously i take all the longsword perks but thats realy up to you just don't gt the shortsword perks when using a longsword (although once you maxed it out you can take every perk except for one anyway) sorry for the long comment, keep up the good work ;)
Tom Merker Wealthy merchants count as highborne. I recommend “Savage” because when do you need more strength and agility?: when you get attacked. And that happens mostly in the forest or far away from villages, often by multiple enemies. So I highly recommend that perk.
@@Celisar1 the traders are not highborn though, and i personaly never needed srtrength, most of the damage from swords come from the maintenance perks, like tin opener and seradet edge, even witht he handsome perks (the one that reduces strenght) i usuualy one or two shot anything anyway
A point about final offer; When you fail a trade, the frustration level of the merchant remains and he will charge you more for items you want to buy and pay less for items you want to sell, so it may be worth it to some people
Final offer totally worth it, apart from saving time, when you reenter after unsuccessful haggle the price is higher now cause you failed the haggle and so is reputation with the trader and as a consequence the whole reputation in this settlement. Wih final offer you practically guaranteed to "win" the haggle in your favor and even can raise reputation with this trader instead of lowering it and as a consequence have lower prices in the future in the long run.
Ok this game is sweet, so much thought and love and care gone into making it. I was skeptical at first because of early access games letting me down in the past but this has smashed it. Well done Warhorse, take care of your baby now :D
Sprinter is objectively better than marathon man as they both can sprint the same distance but marathon man takes longer to get there just get sprinter and the maintenance perk for the shoes and it negates the penalty so you can just sprint super fast and level vitality easy
They are both balanced distance wise which makes sprinter the only viable option because marathon is meant for long distance but with 20 speed reduction and 20 percent stamina buff it equals out to 0 so they both cover the same distance but marathon is just slower which sucks
Quickpaw Maud is right, assuming constant velocity, so DistanceTraveled=Velocity * Time. Δx=1.2V*0.8T is the same as Δx=0.8V*1.2T, one just has a lower time value. Although I still don't know how armor weight fits into this equation.
Final offer is the most OP perk out there, it doesn't exit the trade at all. You put the lowest/highest offer you can, the guy gets angry and then he lowers/raises his offer to the lowest/highest he'll go too, then you accept. It's totally broken because it makes trading require no time or skill or risk, you just move the bar to the bottom of the screen then make an offer, they'll so no and then you accept whatever the best offer they'll do is.
You make a great point, but as joel says you end up with all the traders eventually hating you. I'll play about with the perk more and see if its worth doing. Sometimes i guess it depends on the npc and if you will need to speech check them in quests.
ESO - Fallout & Elder Scrolls Guides your Reputation does not decrease when u use this skill, you just can get a really low price, even if i recommend not to go for the lowest price, you should lower it about 3/4 and then dont go up, must trader will be like: more, than a bit more and after that you can still stay on your original low offer and they gonna accept it, sorry for my English, its not my first language
You only lose reputation if you don't take their final offer. Otherwise they take it as a successfull trade. I have done this several times with the merchants in Rajtaj ( or whatever the name is) and all of them treat me super kindly whenever I get into their store. "Oh Henry! So nice to se you!" "What an honor!" etc. Great perk if you hate minigames like that.
Please thumbs this up. ESO mentioned in one of his videos before that he has mild dyslexia so stop complaining about his mispronunciation of the odd word here and there. Great videos love to watch them all. Keep up the good work. I know editing is tedious. But longer vids would be amazing.
korean seabass well are you just a cute little one! Did you mommy teach you swears and you feel it's absolutely necessary to insult someone and use those words against them for absolutely no reason?!
About Low Born. Don't the commoner usually have a rather low speech level ? I feel like it'd be logical that nobles etc have a rather high speech level and are harder to convince than commoners who aren't well educated. Maybe i'm wrong ? Tho' it's true most NPC must be commoners so if you're not playing a character with that much speech, it would be useful to get Low Born...
Make sure you get the wenching perk it makes everything free at the bath houses! Get the flower power perk as well for charisma boost. Having high charisma unlocks tons of options later in the game and makes things easier Spoiler Warning ⚠️ If you max Charisma you can talk your way out of fighting Ulrich the Knight and he joins you instead. Also collect a few hundred Nettle you get s +2 bonus to Vitality permanently.
3:12 A thing to note about the Boar perk is you won't be able to touch npcs as you spring past them in cities or you will be arrested for assault constantly
Final Offer is one of the best speech traits, every time you fail a trade offer the trader will get upset and give you a dimished return on your trade value for the next try.
If you get weapon cruncher, it actually incentivises you to practice your maintenance skill before selling off your loot (and tin can opener too, following the same logic)
I find the final offer perk very useful. It allows you to push them even lower/higher than usual and also if you have to back out of the haggle and go back, your reputation will go down and the amount of money you get/pay will worsen for you because they dont want to deal with you. I would recommend it.
ESO Final offer is a really good perk, because if you fail to make a deal your reputation with that merchant decrease, and the only way to increase it is by quests or by giving extra money to him, Meaning you save lots of money and can see clearly the limit he is willing to haggle.
Was about to say this. Not saying the perk point isn't more useful elsewhere at least at the beginning but failing a haggle is not so neutral. Also you can just retry the trade just after but the prices are not as good.
You can also artificially inflate your reputation by giving the most absurd price first time around and then giving them a higher than their asking price sale when they inevitably drop to match you. two to three rounds of this with some simple sales and you've maxed their rep near indefinitely.
Under main level, it says "Burgher", not Burglar. A burgher is just an old-timey word for a city-dweller. However, if you're gonna be a thief I would think higher attributes in cities is easily more valuable than in wilderness anyway...
In the wilderness you mostly hunt game or fight bandits and you can manage those with mounted combat (till you get better and can manage on your own). In cities you have tournaments, heavily armed guards and every kind of folks who could ruin your day if you miss a skill check in dialogue/stealth/combat.
*Blah b* Notice the difference in spelling. Burger vs Burgher. "Burgher" is an old English word derived from Dutch. "Burger" is the Dutch word it derives from.
ESO the Weapon Cruncher skill in the defense skill line is super useful for Longsword(two-handed sword) combat especially if you mix it with clinch master skill in strength line. While it does mean the weapons they have are damaged you can always repair them 100% for free at a grind stone. This is useful for a quicker way to level up maintenance, as the more % you repair the more skill you gain. Also to be honest weapons get damaged in combat no matter what so if you really want to maximize profit using a grind stone is an effective way. Though you cant repair maces with them. Not sure about axes I imagine not but I usually don't pick them up since a majority are worth much less and are quite heavy but to address maces I just invested in a couple blacksmith's kits. Once you get your maintenance level pretty high you could even start investing in armorer kits and tailoring kits but I highly suggest only using them on your own gear or very high quality clothing and armor you've looted. I personally dont bother with cobbler's kits since most of the shoes and boots you find are pretty worthless anyway. Not to mention I have used one or two small cobbler kits to repair my "Silent Boots" and the only thing the repair affects is the defensive stats which isnt that helpful since #1 no body really attacks your feet and #2 I only use them for stealth so if Im in combat I've done it wrong lol
I find it kind of a fun mini game challenge, I probably wouldn't like it if it was as easy as Skyrim's grindstone though. The maintenance skill perks are pretty kool as well. For example there's one that adds extra "padding" to any armor you repair yourself which make it less noisy. *wink wink, nudge nudge* With this little trick my full plate armor is ALMOST as quiet as average light armors.
Good advice, I agree with most except for the cobbler part. While you're not wrong it depends on your perks. There is one I took but I forgot where it is that makes me sprint faster if I repaired my shoes myself so I sue the cobbler kit at least 3 times a day to keep the buff. But for people who won't take that perk well then of course it's not as useful as you said.
Yeah I just use plate leggings instead of boots/shoes so even if i had tht perk I would never benefit from it that cushioned armor perk I mentioned is insanely good because now I have no need for light clothing at all my noise level with full heavy armor and my sneak perks is 29 it doesnt change my visibility but even with as low visibility as possible they will still see you pretty easily at close range due to torches and campfires so this way if I do get seen by enemies I dont have to run away as Im already battle ready and if I get seen in a town while trying to rob people they usually just tell you to get the hell out of their house unless you get caught lockpicking or something.
I'm probably 15 hours into the game and I've always saved my perk points in games like this until I figure out how it all works exactly. The first game I ever did this with was back in 2003 when KOTOR came out. If you saved all of your level-ups and waited until you got your Force powers, you basically became a god about 20% into the game. I just started playing Kingdom Come and I decided to save most of them because I have absolutely no idea what is useful and what isn't. A few things were no-brainers (like the final offer perk, or the first aid ones, or the one that slows your blood loss), but others I'm still waiting on. I figure it's easier to save your perks until you know what you're doing than it is to use a potion or something to reset them down the road. After training with Bernard for awhile, I immediately booked it (no pun intended) up to Uthitz (or whatever it's called) to learn how to read. Then I spent the rest of my time killing cows that respawn outside of the town and selling the meat for money. I did that so often that I'm already a great bowman and hunter. I think I'm going to spend most of my time just leveling up skills and saving points and money so that I'm prepared by the time I get into real action.
There are 6 perks under Defence. Perfect Block can only be obtained from Captain Bernard. The game awards a perk point at levels 4, 8, 12, 16, 20 so you can end the game with all of the other 5 perks. The only consideration is the order of selection as you level.
Im one of those people that didnt know about this skill points thing. Thanks for enlightening me. Now i can play the game properly now... cheers for this.
I made sure to look ahead at all the perk possibilities. I saved a lot of mine as well and still have some points saved for the right perks. Great vid ESO you're the one that got me into this game watching your beta gameplay.
Hey ESO I just wanted to mention that when you were talking about the haggling perk and said you just re-enter the haggling if you fail, but your reputation with that trader actually goes down every time you fail haggling so you might want to re-think that perk.
Hunting perks...Antlers and tusks are Alchemy ingredients that you will have to purchase if unable to hunt for them. Some few hides are required for quest objectives, but otherwise their only value is selling to a vendor. The same is true of feathers. You need some for quests, but most are vendor trash. There are faint clues in KCD that WH considered crafted arrows but scrapped the idea. You can search for any oddball KCD item online to determine whether it has value to you. For example, Salt is one of several items that had an intended use which was never implemented in the game. There is no point in purchasing such items from a vendor. Instead sell Salt or other useless items you acquire to avoid dead weight and clutter.
Thank you for the FREE videos!!! My wife and I are huge Skyrim fans and she loved your Skyrim Tee-shirt so we’ve got a couple of those coming. But really thank you for all the thousands of hours you spend making these guides. Cheers!!!
The best perk is contemplative. As long as u don’t move you won’t get hungry or tired. This perk is awesome. You can wait as long as you want and never get hungry or tired. When you read when you sleep. You never get hungry that’s invaluable
WOAH!..... I've been watching your vids since Skyrim... I haven't watched in a good while. Never seen your face before. Was not expecting that lol . Great video
My big tip for the early game is to find the herb meadow in Skallitz (it's north east of Kunesh's house). Then pick ALL the herbs and you should get enough levels to get the "Flower Power" perk and this makes early game speech checks easier to pass. It takes some patience and takes about 15-20 minutes but is well worth it. Also you get a decent amount of money for selling off your excess herbs.
Final Offer is very underrated. Not so much for the last chance but if you max your buy/sell asking price, you'll trigger final offer and they're asking price is WAY Waaaaaaay better than if you just try it without the perk. Trust me.
You make a great point, but as joel says you end up with all the traders eventually hating you. I'll play about with the perk more and see if its worth doing. Sometimes i guess it depends on the npc and if you will need to speech check them in quests.
ESO - Fallout & Elder Scrolls Guides they actually dont hate you at all all traders in rattay i have maxed out rep with them bcuz if u succesfully make a deal they dont hate u its only if u fail
Final Offer is amazing when you cheese it. Demanding the highest price/lowest payment will cause the merchant to drop demands to 50% of your offer - and because of the perk, it's 50% of the entire bar. In other words, you consistently get a massive discount which saves/earns you a lot of money.
final offer ist simply the best money maker... you haggle and then offer him the least amount posible... the he gets mad (normally leaves the haggle ofended) but now the perk kicks in and you can get the maximum amount of the haggle ...!! this is usually 50% saving/ earning. so i would say my best invested point!! greez
Final offer is a must if you like to negotiate things, cuz everytime the negatioation is failed you lose reputation with the Merchant, what makes the next negotiation even harder. The other positive thing about Final Offer is to be able to put the lowest/higest possible offer without the danger to make the hanggling a instant fail.
Definitely appreciate the videos ESO! I was holding off on buying the game right away untill I got a good idea on whether it would be worth the cost and watching your game play definitely has me sold! I also found the channel through your game play vids and have subscribed, you rock man! Thank you
For weapon cruncher perk you can win easier against multiple bandits or cumans. Then you can fix the weapons (swords and axes) with which you also improve your maintenance skill. I would recommend.
Keep in mind leather gloves and hunting gloves count as plate armor and will disable the light armor perk. Vambraces will, too. Cuman vambraces will NOT disable the perk.
Great videos, thanx for uploading! But, Herbalism! Starting at level 10 (Leg Day perk)...all herb picking activity adds to your Strength. In my test picking 10 flowers increased my current strength level by 4% points. Then all those herbs can be sold (or used for alchemy). I also "run" everywhere, no horse, for the vitality training.
Actually final offer is really good, because you can ask for the most money right off rip then then meet you in the middle and you can accept that and it helps you boost your speech skill so you can get a lot of things in the speech tree faster, also marathonman is an incredible perk especially if you're fighting more that one person so you can get out of combat for longer
Clinchmaster is op for cheesing early tourney or boxing challenges. Spending stamina gives vitality exp., so the sprinter perk (spend more stamina to run faster) is a much better perk than marathon, but jumping is quicker still.
About Stronghold perk - if you don't do a perfect block - you do it wrong, and perfect blocks don't drain any stamina. Even of you fight several opponents at once. May be useful for shield users who fight with their shield always risen when surrounded by a horde of enemies, but not much use when you fight 2-3 opponents at once and zero use for 1 on 1 combat Also Thickblooded from a Vitality line - extremely useful for some advanced combat. Bleeding out to death is a serious issue, both for player AND for enemies btw (there is one strategy I use when utilizing archery - if your damage is high enough just shoot your opponent from afar with 150 piercing dmg arrow and wait till he bleeds out, try to aim for legs too to slow their pursuit)
I am main lvl 14 and I would advise to use your perk points earlier; so you will benefit from the perk for more time, and you will really like the buffs earlier more than later. Btw the str stat is so easy to lvl up, I have that stat at lvl 17.

I spat me beer out when you said "In-so-mantic" Its "Insomniac" ~ in-som-nee-ak = a person who suffers from insomnia, the inability, especially when chronic, to obtain sufficient sleep, through difficulty in falling or staying asleep: lmfo (",)
I went for a speech/foot solder/herbalist character focusing mostly on those 3 only just for simplicity. That way I could just in joy my first play through and not worry about to many things at once.
great vids! Funny, but I watched this after picking my talents and they were an exact match so far... You might do a vid on which clothing & armor options you think are best for a sneaky rouge or what you've found to be good. The whole visibility vs. conspicuousness vs. trade-off for protection is a complicated question. This game is hard but that's what makes it good IMO. Also, your vid on secret map locations was awesome. It really helps get you going in the game...
Dust bin is a good perk too if you’re constantly out and about and your food is going bad. You can still eat bad food with no negative effects, yet you will not get any buffs from eating it.
Weapon cruncher is actually pretty good perk, since it reduces the damage you take from your opponent. And the drawback doesnt really matter, since repairing swords is free at grindstones. So you can still easily get the full value out of the weapon
Pro Tips: - Go to the lodgings in any village/city that has them and pay for a room for a few nights instead of one. It lasts forever, and it's fairly cheap (at least mid-late game). - Weapon durability doesn't matter because you can quickly repair them at a grindstone, while also leveling your maintenance skill (Which you can get extra perks on weapons and armor with).
*Kimbo Slice* Then stop the video and watch it at your own pace... I understand the logic of the channel owner wanting to seperate the videos into different parts to generate more revenue and avoid strenuous TH-cam upload times, but I don't understand your logic behind "I don't have time to spend an hour a day watching a video so no one else should be able to". Just watch the video like you normally would. Half hour today, half hour tomorrow. How do you have a problem with that?
Final offwr is actually really useful to get the lower or highest price u want bcuz if u fail a haggle u lose rep with the trader and therfore he will start charging u more or wantong to pay u less so its quite useful
In general I agree except for weapon cruncher. I have leveled up my character quite a bit. Weapon cruncher is a must have especially if you are taking on many opponents at once because when outnumbered you are at a significant disadvantage. I wouldn't worry about money since you will loot so much that no trader will have enough money to buy all the things from you for example I have about 25K of groshen on me, probably own the best horse in the game (warhorse Jenna) while in my trunk i have goods that are probably worth over half a million. I stopped looting for the sake of looting and only loot armor that might be close or better than mine and in good condition and also swords to fix them to level up my maintenance skill. Also clinching is a very good tactic to beat shield bearing opponents as fast as possible before other's join in and surround you. Therefore Clinch Master, Weapon Cruncher and Boar are extremely effective together. I sprint to my opponent, i clinch and then finish them off as fast as possible to have one less enemy to think about but also activate my other perks such as sadist and the other one that gives you a boost when you kill an enemy.
I actually like the final offer perk. You are in fact not only wasting your time if you fail a haggle attempt. Prices at that vendor become more expensive and they will buy from you for less money the more times you fail those haggling attempts. Final offer is a great way to bypass that and just match their last offer.
Max C actually not true they only hate u if u fail but with final offer u fail less and they like u when u make succesful haggles and trade deals and it lets u get bettwe prices and sales its super useful
preston is correct. i spent a few hours testing this and it's indeed the case, you only lose reputation if you don't come to an agreement, final offer essentially destroys the haggling minigame by guaranteeing the lowest possible price/ highest possible profit. Completely negates the need for charisma for the minigame though so i personally only suggest it on thrifty characters since diplomats can get by just fine for a little extra time investment into the haggle mini game.
Final Offer is actually invaluable. It does not what you explained. What it does is that you can ask for the lowest price possible (to either receive or pay) and this will make the NPC angry right away. But, you'll have one last chance to make a deal (without exiting the current negotiation). The NPC/Merchant will automatically counter-offer with the lowest possible amount he or she would agree on. You can make some serious deals and earn extra Groschens along the way!
I think sprinter is a pretty easy choice. You use your horse for long distance travel anyway (making marathon just bad), and the extra sprint speed is golden for fast repositioning in combat (archery skirmishing especially) or stright up fleeing if need be. Also great for running down fleeing foes you need to tackle so you aren't led on a merry chase for the next 5 minutes... I suppose no perk works too, but imo there are enough worse perks you wont want to get in the main levels so you can definiteøy justify this - and well... speed is just so useful and not easy to get in such a large amount anywhere else
ESO, do you plan on making build guides for KCD? I was looking through the perks and looking to make a Oberyn Martell style character. Stat Perks: Strength - Tight Grip Agility - Fast Striker, Dodger, Taunt, Light Armour Vitality - Berserk, Blood Rush Speech - Highborn, Troubadour Other Perks: Warfare - Rusty Edge, Chain Strike Alchemy - Venomous Blade
The one about food lasting 30% longer is actually pretty good you don't have to eat as often and as long as you eat once a day at one of the hundreds of pots of food on open fires you will never really get hungry to get those worse effects.
I have a question for you. Are there any points in the main quests where you can just go off and do your own thing without having to worry about any sort of quest timer? Like get to this point and go train skills or do side quests?
Nooo last offer is sooo damn good. Pared with good rep it is one of the best, you can milk the mony from the merchant and get away with offers higher if you are selling and lower if you are buying. It's so useful if you do a lot of looting from bandits, cumans ecc. and then selling the stuff
Protip: You can get your Herbalism up to at least lv 5 right at the start of the game! There is plenty of sage and dandelions right in Skalitz. I just spent all of ten to twenty minutes picking up sage and dandelions, and I've already gained 5 levels and a perk point in Herbalism. This lets you get Flower Power before you've even left Skalitz, and that bonus to speech from it is pretty useful. In fact, you can get up to level 10 in herbalism, and the perk Leg Day! This is a great perk as it works up your strength stat as you gather! And there are still lots more herbs to pluck in Skalitz!
Im going with this sneaky thief/assassin, but... I don't even bother in trying to steal from someone when they are awake or even sleep. Just sneak behind them, loot them, transfer all stolen items to horse inventory, and gg. Oh, and alchemy is broken too. You dont need the timer at all, one click on the fire is one "timer turn", so yeah, easier than I expected, but still inmersive af.

Thing is, money is so easy to come by in KCD that improved haggling is very low on my priority list.
@@patwilson2546 that’s true. But after 2500 hours, I’m finally playing hardcore mode and coin is pretty difficult to come by. I know that’ll change here soon tho

Shame half the trophies are glitched though
Step 1:head back to skalitz once you have a horse. There should be two groups fighting,
Step 2: hide until one team wins, and then wait for them to leave
Step 3:loot all the armour, don’t loot the weapons unless you want to use anything but a sword.
Step 4: head to the armourer, put all your armour in the sell basket, then choose to haggle, and just as the inventory closes open yours and drop everything you chose to sell. He will then pay the money without taking the armour and you can have it as a good set of early game armour,
Step 5: train with the mace until strength ten with captain Bernard. Then buy herods
sword and learn the riposte
Step 6: play normally and the combat skills that are important late game will level, like strength 12 is needed for the best weapon in the game.
The Burgher skill is pretty usefull, this bonus helps immensely to persuade guard when they caught you, also most big battles play in Town, and there is this skill pretty useful as well
Jovis I used every perk that gave me extra speech and I don't regret it a single bit.
@@maxc6917 ik u can just lie ur way through this game
Clinch master is one of the more important perks along with strong grip and stronghold. Strong grip and clinch master work whenever you fight hand to hand, while stronghold only applies to shields.
Burgher (title), a medieval, early modern European title of a citizen of a town, and a social class from which city officials could be drawn, - not burgler
i know this is mostly personal preference but i have some objective adjustements to this.
first of all don't try to save perks all the time. most of the time you will be able to get all of them anyway, except for the ones that cancel each other like burgher or savage. only save perkpoints when you realy don'T want any of the perks avaiable right now
1. clinch breaker and gravedigger are pretty useful. (gravedigger of course only on a stealthy character)
2. boar is in my opinion either bugged or useless since i can just run into enemies and stagger them even without the skill and with the skill i never noticed any diference
3. you can simply get all teh agility perks, no need to safe the perks there you get enough points for all perks
4. light armor skill is bugged (atleast very inconsistent)
5. you should get sprinter (yes you will drain your stamina faster BUT you are also gonna be faster then the enemies and catch them easier when they are running away and if you choose to run away you will get away from them quicker. don't take marathon man or you will never be able to catch anyone)
6. thickblooded is realy useful. yes you won't start to bleed that easily but if you do you die pretty quick and thickblooded helps with this
7. take lowborn... seriously in the complete game are maybe 5 or 6 speech checks that benefit from it and like a million peasants to talk to. also guards, traders, peasants, townfolk, priests are all lowborn. not even the richest merchants count as highborn
the onyl highborn i found was the parish priest godwin and the lord radzig hanush and capron
8. scout is realy useful IF you want to fast travel, even if it's just a bit becasue you will discover more and see enemies from a greater distance
9. wanderer is a bit shit, becasue most of the time you are gonna rent a bed and these have high comfort. onyl take this when you plan on never renting a room or sleep in a real bed. also you are gonna rent a room to acces your chest too so whats the point in renitn g a room when you are going to sleep in the dirt anyway? ;)
10. i personaly don't like the insomniac or ascetic skills, because whenever i get tired i get reminded of saving and once you have that perk you simply won't get tired (but thats just a preference. if you don't like the sleeping and eating mechanics just go for it ^^)
11. i personaly prefer burgher becasue all the traders and houses worth stealing from are in the city or villages. (i also mainly took it for the +1 speech since agi strength and vitality are not that important in my eyes)
12. you can get all points in defense and warfare.
13. i personaly don't like any other weapon then the longsword, so obviously i take all the longsword perks but thats realy up to you just don't gt the shortsword perks when using a longsword (although once you maxed it out you can take every perk except for one anyway)
sorry for the long comment, keep up the good work ;)
Tom Merker
Wealthy merchants count as highborne.
I recommend “Savage” because when do you need more strength and agility?: when you get attacked. And that happens mostly in the forest or far away from villages, often by multiple enemies. So I highly recommend that perk.
....who are you again?
@@meh1681 someone with more then 500 hours in kingdom come
@@Celisar1 the traders are not highborn though, and i personaly never needed srtrength, most of the damage from swords come from the maintenance perks, like tin opener and seradet edge, even witht he handsome perks (the one that reduces strenght) i usuualy one or two shot anything anyway
Tom Merker ok then
A point about final offer; When you fail a trade, the frustration level of the merchant remains and he will charge you more for items you want to buy and pay less for items you want to sell, so it may be worth it to some people
Does the *Manly Odor* perk affect dialogue when conversing with women?
Woman: "Oh my~ That's a thick musk emanating from you~"
I sure hope so
Final offer totally worth it, apart from saving time, when you reenter after unsuccessful haggle the price is higher now cause you failed the haggle and so is reputation with the trader and as a consequence the whole reputation in this settlement.
Quickpaw Maud Not really, you lose stamina 20% faster so you'd have to stop 20% earlier
Prototype 311 but you are 20 percent faster so you cover 20 percent more distance meaning it is the same
Prototype 311 so marathon man either needs to not have the slow debuff or something cuz right now it is straight garbage it is just slower
Catflap doing this "should" reduce your reputation with the trader but i don't know if it really affects anything...
ESO - Fallout & Elder Scrolls Guides I thought you only lost reputation when you failed to reach an agreement. Might be worth testing.
But longer vids would be amazing.
xX0XDannyBoiX0Xx In a way I agree, but when people actually say people's names and say a handful of things, I don't see it's justified.
xX0XDannyBoiX0Xx shut up bitch
korean seabass well are you just a cute little one! Did you mommy teach you swears and you feel it's absolutely necessary to insult someone and use those words against them for absolutely no reason?!
korean seabass oh, ok little kiddo

About Low Born. Don't the commoner usually have a rather low speech level ? I feel like it'd be logical that nobles etc have a rather high speech level and are harder to convince than commoners who aren't well educated. Maybe i'm wrong ?
Tho' it's true most NPC must be commoners so if you're not playing a character with that much speech, it would be useful to get Low Born...
Kalaam Nozalys
Making a successful speech check with a fencer or a potentially hostile lowborn can be difficult.
Ahmed Falahy I see, so maybe high born is better is you invest a lot In speech then.
He is building a rogue-like character so low born makes sense to that play style. If you were building the paramount knight I'd go with highborn.
Mhm. I wonder which would be the most useful for a "neutral" character. I guess lowborn.
I talked to what 6 nobles during 40 hours of gameplay so far. Not that many wealthy people either. The perk is absolutely useless.
Final offer is so op cus u can trade into the lesss and after u get the half of the price just instant make the lowest price
"INSOMATIC"
and burgler? Looks like those two videos took a toll on him. XD
He's dyslexic give him a break
ah, oops. I knew that. Double oops. Looks like i was the one derping around hehe. My bad.
Stil editing and its midnight, probably a bit of both =S
Semper Fi He has said it himself
Does it work with low coin sales? Because if it does you can just buy food, sell one item cheaper each time until you get 100
I have almost beat the game and just realized that you could do perks. Lol. Thank you so much for showing me the way.
Thanks for making this, I just started.
Under main level, it says "Burgher", not Burglar. A burgher is just an old-timey word for a city-dweller. However, if you're gonna be a thief I would think higher attributes in cities is easily more valuable than in wilderness anyway...
i think he's dislexic, he mentioned it in another video
But then i spend 80% of my time in the wilderness. But tournaments happen in cities... its a hard one!
In the wilderness you mostly hunt game or fight bandits and you can manage those with mounted combat (till you get better and can manage on your own). In cities you have tournaments, heavily armed guards and every kind of folks who could ruin your day if you miss a skill check in dialogue/stealth/combat.
nice ..its still a word in dutch .. burger (citicen)
CyberSec Axes can be repaired at the grindstone; it's a different animation, but it still works the same
Good point, you can repare them easily, just a slight annoyance really!
God be with you, ESO!
About the Weapon-Chruncher perk, you can just grindstone the damaged weapon then sell it for full prize, therefore it’s useful a bit at higher levels.
Cheers!!!
Just got the game and your vids have helped me out a lot. Thanks
Great video
I can use Perk point?
....................
thats why this game is so dificult
😭😭😭 it took me three days to find out i could use skill points
Lmao wtf were you guys doing lol?
I like the Insomantic one
My big tip for the early game is to find the herb meadow in Skallitz (it's north east of Kunesh's house). Then pick ALL the herbs and you should get enough levels to get the "Flower Power" perk and this makes early game speech checks easier to pass. It takes some patience and takes about 15-20 minutes but is well worth it. Also you get a decent amount of money for selling off your excess herbs.
I am absolutely loving the play through of this game keep up the great work. I really appreciate it.
ESO - Fallout & Elder Scrolls Guides You make great vids ESO keep it up! 😁
ESO - Fallout & Elder Scrolls Guides they actually dont hate you at all all traders in rattay i have maxed out rep with them bcuz if u succesfully make a deal they dont hate u its only if u fail
^
Good video, straight to the point and showed the perk tree while explaining. 👍👍
Cool video :) Couldn't help but notice some mistakes when reading from the screen! :) Good luck when getting to the top of youtube! :)
I think he should do a oblivion dark brotherhood walkthrough
This is the one I’ve been waiting for!
Thanks for this video I started playing Friday and I didn't know how to choose perks at all
Your hairs on point mate👍
Keep in mind leather gloves and hunting gloves count as plate armor and will disable the light armor perk. Vambraces will, too. Cuman vambraces will NOT disable the perk.
Great videos, thanx for uploading!
But, Herbalism! Starting at level 10 (Leg Day perk)...all herb picking activity adds to your Strength. In my test picking 10 flowers increased my current strength level by 4% points. Then all those herbs can be sold (or used for alchemy). I also "run" everywhere, no horse, for the vitality training.
Thank you for making this video. Gave me some ideas how i want to play my character :)
May be useful for shield users who fight with their shield always risen when surrounded by a horde of enemies, but not much use when you fight 2-3 opponents at once and zero use for 1 on 1 combat
Also Thickblooded from a Vitality line - extremely useful for some advanced combat.
Also if you are heavy into combat, the blood early perk from vitality is a really good advantage when you are fighting against high lvl units.
Say after me!...... [in]-[som]-[ne]-[ack]
Jonathan Maybury In.... Insomantic...?
LOL
You have to remember, he's dyslexic and British so that's two strikes right there.
and then he thought Burgher was burglar.
NotaVampyre 111
Funny if you weren't speaking the language his people's came up with...
I spat me beer out when you said "In-so-mantic" Its "Insomniac" ~ in-som-nee-ak = a person who suffers from insomnia, the inability, especially when chronic, to obtain sufficient sleep, through difficulty in falling or staying asleep: lmfo (",)
After you get past the first 3-5 hours this game is incredible.
I have played this game for 24 hours and was mostly unaware of perks. There is a lot more to this game than I thought.
2:30 I 100% Agree with you here. I always have weight issues in this game xD
I thought this game was gonna suck. It has a learning curve and lockpicking makes me want to hang myself, but this game is actually pretty awesome
Pro Tips:
- Go to the lodgings in any village/city that has them and pay for a room for a few nights instead of one. It lasts forever, and it's fairly cheap (at least mid-late game).
- Weapon durability doesn't matter because you can quickly repair them at a grindstone, while also leveling your maintenance skill (Which you can get extra perks on weapons and armor with).
Can you go back to hour long episodes?
Unsubstainable Games no
I would never sniff a video if that happened who the fuck has a whole hour to watch these
Kimbo Slice not these types but the lets plays that’s what I’m talking about
*Kimbo Slice* Then stop the video and watch it at your own pace...
Bugs, I agree 100%, having low attention span is one thing, but that's arsenine.
Bugs Money directions clear brain stuck in shithole
Never had a clue, cheers bud.
Ok final offer is one realy usefull skill, you can get really low prices from merchants because they will forgive u ur ridiculus low suggestion
Jovis but the will hate you and eventually you will have to pay then just to do trade
I didn't even realise you had perks and skill points until right before the battle against the bandits and cumans where you kill runt
I love you big hug from Croatia (sorry for bad english)
DAKI ツ
shut up your English is fine
:3
Final Offer is actually invaluable. It does not what you explained.
What it does is that you can ask for the lowest price possible (to either receive or pay) and this will make the NPC angry right away. But, you'll have one last chance to make a deal (without exiting the current negotiation). The NPC/Merchant will automatically counter-offer with the lowest possible amount he or she would agree on. You can make some serious deals and earn extra Groschens along the way!
Great vid! The music was a tad loud at points but it was very informative.
Stat Perks:
Strength - Tight Grip
Agility - Fast Striker, Dodger, Taunt, Light Armour
Vitality - Berserk, Blood Rush
Speech - Highborn, Troubadour
Other Perks:
Warfare - Rusty Edge, Chain Strike
Alchemy - Venomous Blade
Excellent videos my friend definitely subbed
heey thats interresting, great video ESO
The one about food lasting 30% longer is actually pretty good you don't have to eat as often and as long as you eat once a day at one of the hundreds of pots of food on open fires you will never really get hungry to get those worse effects.
I have a question for you. Are there any points in the main quests where you can just go off and do your own thing without having to worry about any sort of quest timer? Like get to this point and go train skills or do side quests?
ncamon Yeah, definitely. So far, I've only encountered a few quests that required immediate attention, and it usually makes it pretty clear.
Nooo last offer is sooo damn good. Pared with good rep it is one of the best, you can milk the mony from the merchant and get away with offers higher if you are selling and lower if you are buying. It's so useful if you do a lot of looting from bandits, cumans ecc. and then selling the stuff
Hey ESO. The perk is called Burgher , a citizen of a town ,often middle class, not burglar, hence the bonus in towns.
With weapon cruncher you can get maintenance if you wear the swords then repair and sell
I've had the game since it came out and I didn't even know that there were skill points that you can spend lol and I'm quite a bit into the story.
where in seven hells can I find lockpicks?
tiktokloe you can buy from traders or loot bandits
Millers usually have some sometimes.
Peshek the miller always has a few for sale
thanks guys
In hell, with the guy who thought the lockpicking system would translate well to consoles.
Robert Silvermyst I think I picked most of it and im herbalist 17 before leaving Skalitz
Personally enjoy last offer it lets you squeeze sum extra cash early and it helps u retain reputation from failing a haggle
Thanks for this info ESO
15+ hours and i didn't even realize there were perk points. Time to go ball out!
