More Information 1. Leather Boots have Visibility/Conspic/Noise 10/10/28 while Quite Dark Shoes have Visibility 14/12/0 actually making them worse, considering we can still reduce my noise to 0 with my armor setup. I have checked all the armor in the game, this is the best setup. 2. As pointed out by @Lavourrin you can unequip your weapons to improve your speed in stealth. 3. Armor you wear under dark clothing will not increase your Visibility/Conspicuous so you can get a decent armor/stealth rating by doing this, but it will make you noisyer.
Being 9/9/2 in V/C/N, Light Tarred Jacket does have some advantage compare to Dark Saxon Gambeson's 8/13/0, if you're confident not getting into combat that is, since it only provides half of DSG's defensive stat.
I have found 2 types of black hood which have different stats. One is the good one you have and the other is crap. Also there is a really good Monks habit with low stats
Hi. 1. There are apparently 3 different "Black hood" items. One costs 182 groschen you have. More common "Black Hood" costs 22 and its stats are actually really bad - its noisy and does not reduce visibility at all. Same noticed Dan Wilson. The one you have should have Vis/Consp and Noise 6/12/0. The bad one has 36/41/43, and the second best has 15/16/8. The source of the best one would be interesting. 2. Silent Boots or Quiet Dark Boots are better in terms of Noise, if you dont have "Padding" buff. The buff apply if you repaired only one of your items while having the perk and apparently it has to be an item which can be repaired by Armourers Kit. Not Tailors or cobblers. Both boots have noise 0, but Leather Boots have Vis/Consp/Noise 10/10/28 which improves their Vis/Consp in case you dont need to make even less noise. 3. There is a "Dark Padded Coif" Cant be purchased, drops from bandits. It has stats Vis/Consp. and Noise 27/25/32, and when worn with "Padding" buff, it does not increase sound. If you have the buff (lets say from Leather gloves) you can wear black items which may have up to 33 noise without increasing the stat from 0. That way i could wear Decorated black Hose, Dark Padded coif and Black Chaperon which have relatively high noise, but when i took Leather gloves, which added "Padding" it dropped back to 0. Mainly the Black chaperon added 1/1/1 armour on head slot. 4. Tight Red Hose should have Vis/Consp/Noice 9/9/0. You may also use Decorated Black Hose which have charisma 19, and sneak stats 19/33/8. Not as good as the other hose, but still silent with perk in a similar manner as you did with Leather Boots. 5. Dark Saxon Gambeson can be purchased from Armourer at Rattay. Even when i dont have Tight Red Hose and the best Black Hood, i have stats 20/24/0 with the Padding perk. Without padding you went to 16/20/1 which is nice. Get the Dark Padded Coif, combine it with "Padding" buff and check the Vis/Consp stats again. Those should be even lower by few points. So few hints to you and to guys reading it here. a) Price tag on item tells if its good or not. b) Try to show item info with Q, people will get better idea about whats going on. :) Edit: Just found the correct Black Hood and i am on 17/22/0 while wearing Decorated Black Hose , not the Tight Red Ones. Dark padded coif does not change any of the stats regardles its used or not, nor Black Chaperon - except better armour.
The coif actually makes sense - a coif is thick, and worn very tightly, so it covers your ears. You can't hear yourself, so you're probably gonna make a lot of noise.
@@wranglerman270 yeah if you knockout someone without witness, but before you knockout him, you walk in front of him, he will recognize, you and pick a fight days before.

Few things that you may have missed: 1. Dark Silent Boots can imrpove your stealth even further. 2. Also, when it comes to Aachen Dark Brigadine, there are actually 2, almost the same items in the game, but one has better stealth stats. 3. If an item has alot of visibility and you put it under your armor/other gear, it's high visibility doesn't count. This way you can put some additional gear under your armor and still be stealthy. For example I put some bright red vest under my brigadine and it doesn't affect my stealth, but at the same time it gives me small boost to armor. 4. Unequipping your weapons (bow, sword and arrows) can improve your stealth and speed.
I also had that another Aachen Dark Brigadine with better stealth! There's a chest plate called Dark Plate-Armuor Jacket with better stealth but worse armor. If Dark Saxon Gambeson is too expensive, you might find Light Tarred Jacket being an acceptable alternative. All drop by bandits. Can't figure why Dark Milanese Brigadine has worse stealth though...... General principle: Black or Dark is good, Mail is bad BTW, I've never seen Leather Gloves, Black Hood and Tight 'Red' Hose on any of the tailor.
Thanks for your feedback, but 1. Dark Solent Boots (I assume you mean Quite Dark Shoes) These are actually (for some reason) worse than the leather boots! I did check all the items in the game btw. They had Vis/Conspic/Noise 14/12/0 but my leather boots have 10, 10, 28. As i reduced my nose to 0 in the video anyway its much better to have that low vis/conspic stat. 2. The Dark Brigadine was just an example of how you could wear armor and it just increased your noise. 3. Thats a really good point i failed to mention, in fact if you wear the monks habit it compleatly covers all your armor and has a decently low vis/conspic. If you combine that with stuffing perk that's going to be really good! But not as good stealth wise, just better stealth & armor combo. 4. I did not know that, thanks!
came up with the exact same outfit. well different looking leather boots but exact same stats. times like these let me know you know what you're talking about. love the videos man
Dark Riding boots (can get them at the cobbler in rattay) you can wear and have 0 noise with the rest of this build and there is a padded coif that is black in color that you can also wear without it effecting your stealth at all.
The video overlooked there are THREE types of black hoods. Each with decreasing visibility stats and even cosmetics, not to mention it was never amended that the tight red hose was removed/corrected from the the game. A player wants tight black hose. All this gear mentioned is available from high level bandits. Leather boots are not optimal either, it is best to wear dark riding boots for a number of reasons.
Or Decorated Black Hose. 0 noise and 19 charisma. It helps walking around not changing. I hate changing gear especially if I have some i looted to sell. I keep it around 30 noise and don't change.
You can steal a hooded up monks habit and that way you can wear a brigidane underneath so you're not completely unarmored, but you need the stuffed perk too. Monk's habit is the best overtop since it also covers the body armor you are wearing.
Actually, your armor would overlap the robe and make the hood disappear, not sure if it's a visual glitch. And clothing can not receive stuffed bonus, only armor.
The best stealth armor that i’ve found is: Black hood leather gloves light tarred jacket padded coif quiet dark shoes and tight black hose. Gets my base cons./Vis./noise to 17/19/0
I have most of that also. Dark Combat Jacket... a few items just for the 18+ charisma. Decorated Black Hose has 0 noise and 19 charisma. Padded Black Coif and Padded Chausses. The only 2 semi loud pieces I always use are Short Brigandine Chausses and Magdelburg Pauldrons. Noise 31... charisma 17 walk around if I use the water bins. It's weird a little dirt n it goes to 15.
I’ll always love ESO for two reasons... 1 he is the most helpful TH-camr guide ever! And 2 how you say names of places and people and completely butcher them even if said in the game

Moreover, it provides pretty solid defense should you find yourself in and unavoidable scrap.
You Sir, are a legend. I found your videos after buying Kingdom Come Deliverance and trying to figure out the best stealth armour. Amazing how you were able to get all three stats down to zero. Thanks for sharing.

The chest you found at the end is actually the "X" on one of the series of treasure maps...can't remember which one though. Also, I found a really cool hidden chest yesterday! Go to the camp behind Sassu where you meet the knight in the Glister campaign and walk straight back & deeper into the woods and up the large hill. At the top of the hill there are two burned out buildings which don't seem to have any loot or garves. You can crouch and disappear into the shrubbery inside the smaller building and you find a hidden ladder that descends into a cave. Take it down and go a very short distance to find an accident site and chest with some pretty good loot in it. This may actually be the result of one of the treasure maps as well, but I happened to stumble across it by accident. It's the most well hidden one I've found yet.

Just FYI the location you found at the end of the episode is actually a location revealed by a treasure map... I forget which one. There are a lot of hidden locations that aren't found on maps though. I found one near Vranik that has an alter, and some general witchcraft type tings around it. I've also found a bunch of graves that just have a bunch of flowers in them.
I have a gear set with vis/con 27/31 but when Forester perk activates that drops to vis/con 2/6 If I total up the defence points (stab slash blunt) for all armour in the set, the total is 275 On my combat set (full plate) the defence total is 490 The set I had been using for stealth was only 85 total defence
KingoYouth And you're clearly a immature nine year old, trying to get attention on the internet. :) Who also needs to learn grammar. And I was early, as it clearly points out the time I sent the comment. :)
KingoYouth Same thing about me? I didn't call anyone petty names, I said everything in a civil (ish) way. Though you can point out what there is to 'say the same thing about me.' I honestly don't know Why you started this, I was early and wanted to thank eso. I don't know Why you thought it would be a good idea to call me petty things and then say 'I wasn't early.' (Which I was.) Have a nice day sir, and advice for the future, if someone isn't doing wrong, don't call them a dumbass, it just makes you look like a complete jerk.
KingoYouth Well I'm sorry you get annoyed that easily because someone is excited to be early to watch a TH-camrs video. But that's your own problem. And "I would be a dead mothafucker if I was near you."? Ha yeah sure, that's a death threat. And is most defiantly not true, I'm not saying you don't have the power to kill someone. (Pratically everyone does.) But I'm 100% sure you would not kill someone because they where complimenting a TH-camr. When I was saying I was early, I merely only said that. I didn't go over the top like you said "I'm early omg." There was more to the comment. Again if you're done trying to argue with this petty matter! I'd like to end it 😂. I don't think this argument was worth any of our times so I'd like to be civil. (This is sort of a peace offering;-;).
Hey ESO I love your content and have been waiting for KCD for a long time and I hearda rumor of a sword called the MAGEBURG LONGSWORD and I was wondering if you could do a video on the location. Thanks keep up the good work
Lol, a bit late mate but I found it in the first bandit camp where you find Sir Hans' necklace. It was on the leader. I know this because I murdered the whole camp.
i know its been 6 years but i got a Light tarred jacket with vis 9 /cons / 9 / 0 noise which is better in terms of stealth really early in the game with low level
Without perks my visibility is 14 and conspic. is 18. I am using exactly the same gear as you are, except I am also wearing a ring that further lowers both stats by 2 points. I dont remember where I got the ring, but it doesnt have any description nor does it have an in game icon. Its just called Ring and has stats.
If i remember correctly, you can get the ring during the "Besmirched" quest, by threatening and accusing the unnamed charcoal-burner closest to supervisor Borya.
instead of taking off the boots have you tried hunting boots or maybe even slippers? they seem like they would make a lot less noise, there is also something called "silent shoes" i have a pair i found but ive not tested them, as theyre stolen and im just keeping em in my lock box at the mill...im afraid to try em on. lol
Wearing the exact same things, and without perks I'm stuck at 24 Cons and 23 vis with 0 Noise, unless they changed something with the gear recently, I'm not sure what I missed.
What? With only black hood, dark saxon gambeson, leather boots & gloves and tight black hose my visability is 39, my conspiciousness 36 and noise 24, and I have maxed most skills so I have all stealth increasing perks. The only way to get my noise down to zero is if i remove the gambeson and boots which also decrease my visibility by 6 and my conspiciousness by 2. It's literally the best I can do.
Well I went to the same merchant as him and no luck. So if anyone happens to have any ideas, then can you tell me where to get some tight red hose-uh? Other than those filthy "maids" at the bathhouse that I spend an hour with every morning.
I followed your guide and have the dark Saxon gambeson, leather gloves , the tight red hose, but the silent shoes. Leather ones gave me noise. Am I doing something wrong or did they recently patch that?
"As you can see, your noise goes up/down".....says ESO blocking the noise stat on the screen so that it's visibility and conspicuousness is 0..... lol oops.

If you have a coif that is actually black it has a lot better stats. Looks the same as the one you have but is not the padded version. Still love the setup mate thank you
Just FYI the location you found at the end of the episode is actually a location revealed by a treasure map... I forget which one. There are a lot of hidden locations that aren't found on maps though. I found one near Vranik that has an alter, and some general witchcraft type tings around it. I've also found a bunch of graves that just have a bunch of flowers in them.
Had noise, ironically not from my big chest piece but from Vambraces and spurs. Repaired my gear and thus got stuffing. Boom, 0 noise.
Now you gotta get the invisible dress and hat the rich women sometimes wear. Their heads look like they are flying it's crazy
Best stealth armor is getting nekkid and nobody can convince me otherwise
Thank you for breaking this down for me.
You're the one that should lead the development team on Skyrim 2 and elden ring 2 or better yet make the ultimate game. Endall
I need to invest in this game looks dope asf
I have a gear set with vis/con 27/31 but when Forester perk activates that drops to vis/con 2/6
If I total up the defence points (stab slash blunt) for all armour in the set, the total is 275
On my combat set (full plate) the defence total is 490
The set I had been using for stealth was only 85 total defence
Keep doing what you’re doing
im stuck in a loading screen in the main mission after escaping Vranik, me so sad and emotional
If you use the padded perk on the leather gloves it also gives you 0 noise without using other armor piece
Lol I don't even have the game and still love watching these, would love to have this game though.
Love you eso! I don't know what to say as I'm early, but I'm enjoying the vid so far! :>
KingoYouth
And you're clearly a immature nine year old, trying to get attention on the internet. :) Who also needs to learn grammar. And I was early, as it clearly points out the time I sent the comment. :)
Online Potato I could say the exact same thing about you... Buddy! 😅 (dumbass. look at yourself before you judge kid).
KingoYouth
Same thing about me? I didn't call anyone petty names, I said everything in a civil (ish) way. Though you can point out what there is to 'say the same thing about me.'
I honestly don't know Why you started this, I was early and wanted to thank eso. I don't know Why you thought it would be a good idea to call me petty things and then say 'I wasn't early.' (Which I was.)
Have a nice day sir, and advice for the future, if someone isn't doing wrong, don't call them a dumbass, it just makes you look like a complete jerk.
KingoYouth
Well I'm sorry you get annoyed that easily because someone is excited to be early to watch a TH-camrs video.
Online Potato 😂
Again great video.also may you please do some more skyrim builds many a dawn guard build
hey eso im a big fan keep up the good work and also change your horse please.
Nobles shoes (the ones that look like normal boots) have zero noise
If you cover the armor with a waffenrock instead of a hood you reduce its visibility back.
The monk rob is quite good it hides almost all of your armour
Awesome series.
I don't expect this to work during the day
i know its been 6 years but i got a Light tarred jacket with vis 9 /cons / 9 / 0 noise which is better in terms of stealth really early in the game with low level
That black hood is misleading. There are a few different stat variants of it. The best I've seen is the 6/12 that I've only seen as bandit loot.
thanksss ESO!!!
You can also bait NPC by dropping swords and shields maybe, because that NPC in the video picked up his dead bandit's weapon.
Cool idea, if you can drop a sword, pull out a bow and shoot it to make it fly across the area and see if it alerts the ai to pick it up.
Also physics CAN kill you or other NPCs, just hard to manipulate.
AYE ESO & Folks, I have a QUEST-ion for you: after last patch WHERE can we find WARHORSE armor set parts? They aren't now in secrets chests !
cool batman build
Without perks my visibility is 14 and conspic. is 18. I am using exactly the same gear as you are, except I am also wearing a ring that further lowers both stats by 2 points. I dont remember where I got the ring, but it doesnt have any description nor does it have an in game icon. Its just called Ring and has stats.
If i remember correctly, you can get the ring during the "Besmirched" quest, by threatening and accusing the unnamed charcoal-burner closest to supervisor Borya.
instead of taking off the boots have you tried hunting boots or maybe even slippers? they seem like they would make a lot less noise, there is also something called "silent shoes" i have a pair i found but ive not tested them, as theyre stolen and im just keeping em in my lock box at the mill...im afraid to try em on. lol
Maybe make a stealth build that has some defence as well? I usually have about 20 noise and no one hears me if im not being crazy.
Wearing the exact same things, and without perks I'm stuck at 24 Cons and 23 vis with 0 Noise, unless they changed something with the gear recently, I'm not sure what I missed.
The hooded monks habit with silent boots and leather gloves is better.
Googled this just to find out I'm already wearing it...
So the Leather Boots are better to use than Quiet Dark Shoes? The Quiet Dark once can be bought from the Rattay cobbler.
Rarely you’ll come across chauses that have no noise value
Just a fun fact and slight correction: Hose means pants in German and it is pronounced hose-uh, not hose like you use in the garden.
ay lmao Highlight Comment
"Hoe, the" ;-)
Hose is a word in English as well though, apart from *garden* hose... Same meaning as the German word however.
Well I went to the same merchant as him and no luck. So if anyone happens to have any ideas, then can you tell me where to get some tight red hose-uh? Other than those filthy "maids" at the bathhouse that I spend an hour with every morning.
Nyhlek - I find them all the time in the chests of the people I rob.
Is this build viable through all the game ?
can you respec perk points ?
I found, and use, boots called Silent Boots, which make no noise. Would that not be better than the Leather Boots?
do a video on how to level these skills!!
Hey mate just letting you know "hose" is pronounced as "hor-se". I think. Hose in German means pants so I'm sure it's the same
I followed your guide and have the dark Saxon gambeson, leather gloves , the tight red hose, but the silent shoes. Leather ones gave me noise. Am I doing something wrong or did they recently patch that?
What about silent shoes?
Will a lit torch affect stealth? Cuz from the main game stats it doesnt say stealth is affected.
Your the best
Well they do have a padded coif that is 13/13/0 that you can use
"As you can see, your noise goes up/down".....says ESO blocking the noise stat on the screen so that it's visibility and conspicuousness is 0..... lol oops.
He talks about the stuffing perk, that "you unlock at level 8" then shows that the level required is 6. Genius.
Wow, someone's having a bad day today. Hope it gets better for you.
Mine Henry has each body part armor from 15 to 30 and visibility and conspicuous at 50, noise at 15 what allow me to stealthkill every enemy.
There are silent boots you can get as well. Yes they are called that.
Why not the quite dark shoes? 14/12 vis/con and 0 noise on that.
huh i thought the silent shoes were best in slot
Dishonored : Deliverance
Doesn’t work anymore patch 1.9.2 I’ve repaired all my gear with kits and my noise is always at 100… or I’m doing something wrong
The best i found out was
14
18
0
So no, thats not limit
(same as him but stealth ring + monk cloths)
While it does give pretty good stealth stats, but what if you end up getting into a fight. I kind of doubt those armor stats will be of much help.
I can't find any Tight red hose anywhere, even the tailor/armor shops in Rattay. Any idea where I can find or get one?
PKWithThePullUpJ it’s a random kind of loot.
Maybe get a different hose because there is a tight black hose in the game but I have a feeling it is also rare.
The bailiff has fashionable black hose not tight well I mean I choked him out while I was watching this
The rain one doesn’t work either, I’m still making noise in the rain patch 1.9.2
The Tailor is the man the woman is his helper lol
Danny can you do a series on The Witcher?
I got got patch 1.3 on Xbox and the games voice dialogue in cutscenes is not working...anyone else have this problem after downloading the patch?
Caleb Mueller I had nthis problem even before the patch 1.3
Why didn't you use a nighthawk potion?
more walkthrough please!
