Just for the record, the amount of gold you'll actually get for items is around 15 to 20% of the the number in your inventory menus. So no, it won't be 24,000, it'll be maybe 2,000 if you're lucky.

at start when u woke up at therese house : Go to NE to reach Neuhof then keep on NE till u reach the Large Road right after Neuhof .... Fallow the road to the Est then found a camp ! ( free chest with best all kind of weapon + plate armor + Tournament shield on the chest ! )
I notice you keep saying put stolen stuff in chest so guards don't take it but you can also put stuff on your horse so as soon as it doesn't show stole you can use it guards don't check your horse for some reason I know this is two years old but maybe some new player like me might read this thanks great video.
These warhorse armor are only available for those who played the beta game before its official release or preordered.. i've went to all the locations in game, found all that was shown in the video except for the warhorse equipment.

Go to Neuhof, then go North on the road till u get to a campsite on the left. There is about 10,000 G worth of gear in it. It’s not locked, a full set of high end plate armor, one of the strongest Long swords in the game (St George sword) 72 slash 72 stab, there’s a nice axe and mace in it as well. Guess I should add, you can get this very early into the game but it makes you nearly unkillable and the sword (for its full potential) requires 13 strength. I also doubt that they will keep this in the game, this seems like a mistake, there are very few “named” swords and this one is just sitting there. The armor is so high end, I went from NPCs calling me peasant, to Knight to Sir Knight (while they bow before me) just for wearing it.
Wolves Gaming not sure, I play on PC, every one of my friends and people on Steam opened the chest, wasn’t locked and had everything I mentioned in it plus a bunch of stuff you can sell. I have heard of a few people on PS4 saying it was locked for them but none of them had told me their was “junk in it”. It could also be possible that u found a different chest? I hadn’t explored the area, I just accidentally found the chest and wanted to share it with people.
Just to let you know I found all maps and the warhorse gambison in a chest in one of the inns. Uhh the one with upstairs room you get to it by a ladder, in the room is a floor bed and a real one and then a chest. No lock picking required!!! ITS NICE.

There's also another bunch of really good armour and weapons you can get that's on the road leading off the map near Neuhof. You can find one of the best swords in the game there, as well as a great cuirass and plated leg armour.
Run into some alley or somewhere where people don't see you and drop everything you stole. Then talk to him and let him search you. That way he won't find anything stolen and you can pick up your items on the ground .. It could be that he sees the items and says something like "oh who dropped this here i'll take this" but just for max. 2 items..
For anyone who dosent know the recent updates and made 2 or 3 of the chests -Very Hard- so you cant unlock them until youve gotten who lock picking skill up, so you wont be getting this armour at the begining of the game unless who spend a few hours getting your lock picking skill up
Best thing I can suggest is when your doing a quest for razig there will be a camp with some guards sleeping. There's a few guards with some really good armour.. wait for them to sleep and knock them out be sure to not get seen and steal all the armour. I full armour legs arms chest plate etc.. the only downside is don't get caught stealing anything as it will get taken off you.. even with paying a fine your stuff will disappear. I found best way is to make a save that your happy to go back to or don't do any stealing or serious crimes during a quest that may involve getting searched. I also find that if in talmberg the guards search you just pay them.
In all open world games the first thing I do is walk the ENTIRE map. It all allows me to see every location, I find items along the way and get xp before even starting the main mission. I unlock and do 75% of the side missions before I even start the main missions. In the beginning of the game when you can walk then entire map I walked all the way to the right and there is a road in the woods and on side of the road was a camp, but no one was there. They had a high level shield and an unlocked chest. In the chest was a high level FULL SUIT OF ARMOR! I was level 1 in all stats! Go all the way to the right on the map until you can't go anymore then find a road and look right on the side of the road there should be a yellow shield a pot and fire and an unlocked chest. I will describe its location better after I play again.
Hey just an idea for you next guide. You can leave the starting area (chores for daddy area) with at least level 10 herbalism to include 2 perks from that skill tree, I chose flower power (+2 charisma or speech when you have so many fragrant flowers in your inventory) and Leg Day (Picking herbs raises your strength also) but there is also another perk that you get called Resistance (I believe) which you get for picking so many poisonous plants or nettles, and this perk gives you a PERMANENT +2 VITALITY. Just something for you to check out, like I said you can do this before the Run! mission. Not sure how high you can get herbalism in the starting area maybe to the max level?
Let’s be real here, the warhorse armour is nice but definitely isn’t one of the best, and endgame wise I’ve become so OP Henry doesn’t even need armour anymore, so I’m assuming the same for everyone else.
30 hours in and I finished the game, by the way, Runt’s armour did me pretty good for most of the endgame, if you haven’t got anything better you should definitely fix it up and put a German bascinet on it. All I’m doing now is just side quests and bandit hunting for money to afford the best armour I can find.

@erikcarrillo33 Henry is not naturally a thief. Its extremely easy once Henry has practice. I have a lockpick skill of 15 and its a piece of cake, you just need to put some effort in.
about Armor.. when i complete the Game i visit mr. ''dandy'' or lord Capon. at night in epilouge mission. i sneak around while his sleeping.. and steal some fine Armor inside his chest without lockpicking. if someone will like my method.. do this.
For those who very recently bought the game, one of the DLC's gives you the maps and apparently the Warhorse items. I just got the game last night for $4 with all DLCs and went to my chest and found the maps and the first item of Warhorse armor. Edit: this guide takes you to other chests for which you will need lock picks.
If you have stolen items you can put it in the chest where you find all of your belongings in it will take time for them to loose the stolen status on them but it does work you don’t have to unlock a door at the mill and unlock that chest to loose it’s stolen status on it it’s just not worth the time especially if you might get caught doing it

Yes. Also, I'm lucky to get 40% of the "value" when I sell. I know, charisma helps some but.... not that much. You will NEVER get 24k gold, or Groschen from 24k "value". More likely you will sell some of it and get a few k groschen out ot it. Is there a better way to sell?
Hmm, I pre-ordered yet I did not get these maps in my chest once making it here. Guess I need to check inside the cover for a code. Thanks for taking the time to explain these locations. FYI, for anyone wanting to get rich in a semi "legitimate" way: hunt deer, cook their food, and sell to traders/food merchants/hunters. You can earn 300-500g per deer before really getting any trader/hunting/speech perks and it only goes up from there.
This game has really surprised me I made a comment on somebody's video about a month ago taking the piss out of the graphics and gameplay. I bought it yesterday off the PS store as every shop and online retailer here in the UK the game is sold out. So yesterday I had to pay £55 for it and don't regret it at all and must of played it for 10 hrs straight yesterday and cant wait till my next few days of work to have a proper blast on it.
The save system is atrocious. I just lost 4 hours because it didnt save when i slept at a bandit camp. Finished sleeping and got on my horse to leave. My horse was full, so i couldnt stash anymore and i was full from treasure hunting and bandit killing when 5 people and a dog pulled me from my horse and butt fucked me... fuck. Im starting to remember why ive never beat it now.
Hey, I don't know if you figured it already or not, but there's a random encounter with a wayfairing knight that will challenge you to a duel. Whether you win or lose, you can knock him out and/or kill him and steal his gear. I'm pretty sure it's some of the best gear in the game, and it can happen multiple times so you can sell the stolen shit. As a side note, I also killed the executioner... He came back to life.

Ya I sold pretty much everything that I got in the chests and I got about 3000 in total. Not including the groshen in the chests.

On console you just have to do it sort of quick and make sure both sticks turn at the same time it’s pretty easy to be honest

It’s only locked if your more than halfway through the game. Hope that helps.

How do you get gear back if a guard searches you?
Kill him!
Quickly go into inventory and eat a thing called belladonna, it stops the guard from taking your stuff.

@erikcarrillo33 Henry is not naturally a thief. Its extremely easy once Henry has practice. I have a lockpick skill of 15 and its a piece of cake, you just need to put some effort in.

about Armor.. when i complete the Game i visit mr. ''dandy'' or lord Capon. at night in epilouge mission. i sneak around while his sleeping.. and steal some fine Armor inside his chest without lockpicking. if someone will like my method.. do this.
Chest is unlocked in the day too, it counts as stolen but none of the guards or Hans himself didnt do anything afterwards.

For those who very recently bought the game, one of the DLC's gives you the maps and apparently the Warhorse items. I just got the game last night for $4 with all DLCs and went to my chest and found the maps and the first item of Warhorse armor. Edit: this guide takes you to other chests for which you will need lock picks.

If you have stolen items you can put it in the chest where you find all of your belongings in it will take time for them to loose the stolen status on them but it does work you don’t have to unlock a door at the mill and unlock that chest to loose it’s stolen status on it it’s just not worth the time especially if you might get caught doing it

Wrong - cannot make 24,000 gold. It's called Groschen.
Yes. Also, I'm lucky to get 40% of the "value" when I sell. I know, charisma helps some but.... not that much. You will NEVER get 24k gold, or Groschen from 24k "value". More likely you will sell some of it and get a few k groschen out ot it. Is there a better way to sell?

FYI, for anyone wanting to get rich in a semi "legitimate" way: hunt deer, cook their food, and sell to traders/food merchants/hunters. You can earn 300-500g per deer before really getting any trader/hunting/speech perks and it only goes up from there.

This game has really surprised me I made a comment on somebody's video about a month ago taking the piss out of the graphics and gameplay. I bought it yesterday off the PS store as every shop and online retailer here in the UK the game is sold out. So yesterday I had to pay £55 for it and don't regret it at all and must of played it for 10 hrs straight yesterday and cant wait till my next few days of work to have a proper blast on it.

The save system is atrocious. I just lost 4 hours because it didnt save when i slept at a bandit camp.
Finished sleeping and got on my horse to leave. My horse was full, so i couldnt stash anymore and i was full from treasure hunting and bandit killing when 5 people and a dog pulled me from my horse and butt fucked me... fuck. Im starting to remember why ive never beat it now.

Hey, I don't know if you figured it already or not, but there's a random encounter with a wayfairing knight that will challenge you to a duel. Whether you win or lose, you can knock him out and/or kill him and steal his gear. I'm pretty sure it's some of the best gear in the game, and it can happen multiple times so you can sell the stolen shit.
As a side note, I also killed the executioner... He came back to life.
