This was actually quite helpful because I never even thought about just taking the helmet off and adding a mail collar for cut scenes I have a similar setup except I use all the Augsburg armor instead I just like the trim. In cutscenes or when I'm talking to somebody I prefer to take off all the armor and put on the Brocade which is Hans capons shirt and I use the red collar or black hood. I basically dress exactly like Hans Capon. I found his shirt in Talmberg in Sir Divish's room. Was quite surprised and Overjoyed when I saw it. Because usually I just end up taking hans' shirt during the bathhouse mission
It would be easier if there was a squire system in the game, but i like to have Henry's face visible for cutscenes. Helmets are heavy and uncomfortable, so you wouldn't want to wear them if you weren't in combat, or in danger of combat.
@@Dare_To_Game I 100% I agree. I don't like wearing helmets in cutscenes. But I do where are my full set of armor sometimes and I'm using the kettle hat, you know the one that has the best armor without a face shield. I hate how the visor isn't flipped up when you're talking in a cutscene. I know that's something they addressed in kcd2 end with mods
I also prefer the 'Augsburg' plate pauldrons and chausses, lovely gold accents which go perfectly with the 'noble gauntlets'. They are better than the 'Lords of Leipa' ones as well, just better (in my opinion).
I made myself a “noble” armor set and it had a lot of golden accents and I love it a lot honestly. It has: any decorated helmet(i like decorated german but I dont use it because of hardcore debuff) Lords of Leipa chestplate Lords of leipa leg plate Meissen armplate(I think, I know it starts with “M” and had golden accents and its bought from the Rattay armorer) Noble’s gauntles Short noble mail Decorated mail coif Decorated arming doublet I also use the yellow and blue hood for more of a noble look.
My personal favorite suit of armor when I'm not doing a Skalitz theme is one that is centered around the color schemes of the Boarback Shield, in my mind it represents Pribyslavitz pretty well because of course Henry is a Bailiff over there. Any good necklace, Dark Padded Coif, Noble's Mail Coif, Italian bascinet Dark Saxon Gambeson, the Decorated Bavarian Hauberk without gold trim, Dark Milanese Brigandine or Aachen Dark Brigandine, Blue Combat Jupon, Black Combat Jacket, Dark Combat Jacket or Quartered Combat Jacket Saxon Plate Pauldrons or Nuremberg Plate Pauldrons because they make your shoulders look the widest when wearing a jupon, Composite Gauntlets Any leg padding and Noble's Composite Chausses or Saxon Composite Chausses and Noble's Dark Boots, Golden Spurs, any good ring And then of course Bailiff's Mace and Boarback Shield for the weapons. You can easily mix and match with a couple of other components to also have a good stealth suit. As a side note, ironically enough, the Aachen brigandines look very slim without an outer garment, but putting a jupon over it gives Henry's silhouette a very thick back. Maybe you can say...just like a boar's back.
I am curious how they will handle it. I imagine many of the same items will exist in the second game, but they will look different, as much of the armor system appears to have been tweaked, at least visually.
Zouls is mine and the saint George's sword is mine and Sir Radzig sword but now Henry's sword. Also Herman's sword also a bandit has it and maybe you can buy it peacemaker or something like that.
I've been wearing an almost complete set of Warhorse Armor just my Lockpick isn't good enough to get the Brigadine so I'm wearing the Nurembergian Cuirass under the waffenrock.
But you don't have a visor down, if you use bow? But I didn't know, that cuman bows are faster than longbows in the game, have to check it. Nice Video, thank you!
Curious, when you say 'Cut Scene variant', do you find yourself running around unarmored or with no helmet but then when about to be attacked pause in the inventory and put everything on? Trying to figure out the balance, I just started playing.
I am a huge fan of the black and yellow hood, but for the lords of leipa armor I personally like the yellow noble's hood because it looks cleaner and slightly fancier
@@Dare_To_Game yeah I’m still in my first. About halfway through the main story but I’m all geared up and almost max level in all combat except unarmed and bow. Having a hard time with my warfare being stuck at 19 (596/620 xp) though. Could that be because my unarmed is 14?
q can you help me with something i tried downloading a mod and f***ed up and now my game is fucked and i cant play i have been all week trying to fix this going to streamers trying to find veterans of the game like myself ( i just got into moding i mean veteran by finishing the game ) and i need help desperate help oh and try making a serie of you making the best armor sets beast on what the viewer wants to look like like / knight / bandit / stealth / and idk noble smn like that btw keep it up
I like that each piece of the Lords of Leipa armor needs to be won in a tournament. Makes wearing it feel more earned.
I definitely agree.
And if you can win every piece of the armor then you are likely skilled enough to not need anything that quality. Way she goes
I use the 'bell shaped kettle hat' helmet, low charisma but good protection, unobstructed vision and (I think) looks cool.
Love that armor. The only things I woud change, are the pauldrons, personly like the Zoul pauldrons more.
I could see that. The Zoul pauldrons are great, and would look pretty good with this armor.
The Lord's of leipa armor is really cool and unique. Well done on the choices here.
Thank you. I am glad you enjoyed it.
I love the armor in this game. So much variety. So much freedom.
Me too. It is honestly the thing i am most excited for about the sequel.

i just got kcd recently i love your channel thanks homes
Awesome. Glad you enjoy my content, and i hope you love the game.
For length of Hauberk, there is a 'short noble hauberk' which is what you are looking for I think.
I also prefer the 'Augsburg' plate pauldrons and chausses, lovely gold accents which go perfectly with the 'noble gauntlets'. They are better than the 'Lords of Leipa' ones as well, just better (in my opinion).
I like the 'Magdeburg' sword.
I made myself a “noble” armor set and it had a lot of golden accents and I love it a lot honestly.
It has: any decorated helmet(i like decorated german but I dont use it because of hardcore debuff)
Lords of Leipa chestplate
Lords of leipa leg plate
Meissen armplate(I think, I know it starts with “M” and had golden accents and its bought from the Rattay armorer)
Noble’s gauntles
Short noble mail
Decorated mail coif
Decorated arming doublet
I also use the yellow and blue hood for more of a noble look.

Great video I hope they put all the same armor from the first game and alot more new ones for the second game so we can collect 10 plus suits of armor
I am curious how they will handle it. I imagine many of the same items will exist in the second game, but they will look different, as much of the armor system appears to have been tweaked, at least visually.
@@Dare_To_Game let's hope bud half the game is about the armour but maybe they don't see it that way
That suit of armor looks great. You have good taste.
Thank you kindly!
So why dont you take the short noble chainmail shirt then, which fits better to the length of the body plate o.O
I typically would, i just haven't obtained it yet in this playthrough.
A very solid outfit. My own personal kit is not so far off from this.
I certainly like it.
Probably my favorite armor too the only problem that I have with it is that the helmet visor is waaaay too big
I don't hate the large visor, i don't particularly care for the tournament cloth crown on the helmet.
Love the leipa leg armour
Me too. Reminds me of the Noble's chausses, but with better stats.
Zouls is mine and the saint George's sword is mine and Sir Radzig sword but now Henry's sword. Also Herman's sword also a bandit has it and maybe you can buy it peacemaker or something like that.
I also really like the Zoul Armor.
Well done. Solid armor guide, as always.
Glad you enjoyed it
I wear the same except zoul legs, pauldrons, aachen gauntlets and the short noble version of the chainmail cause it’s shorter.
I've been wearing an almost complete set of Warhorse Armor just my Lockpick isn't good enough to get the Brigadine so I'm wearing the Nurembergian Cuirass under the waffenrock.
The Warhorse set is another i quite like because of how unique it is. Also, because of how cheap it is to maintain it.
But you don't have a visor down, if you use bow? But I didn't know, that cuman bows are faster than longbows in the game, have to check it. Nice Video, thank you!

Also if you put a hood a on the lords of Leipa set you have to use the yellow and black checkered one
That is one of the hoods i most often use with this outfit.
@@Dare_To_GameI love you and your videos I would pay money to have you interview tobi from warhorse

Nice selections! I use almost the same weapons...but mine are all bloody!! 😂😂😂
Lol, mine get bloody of course, but i try to keep them clean and sharp, when applicable.
I honestly just use the armor with the best stats and I use the DLC shield and the best axe
I did that on my first playthrough.
@@Dare_To_Game yeah I’m still in my first. About halfway through the main story but I’m all geared up and almost max level in all combat except unarmed and bow. Having a hard time with my warfare being stuck at 19 (596/620 xp) though. Could that be because my unarmed is 14?
Imo sir hans has the coolest Armor
This is a weird question but after 5 years, I need to ask. How AAR is calculated ?
Lol, it's just all of the protection for each body area that each item gives you averaged out by the total areas of damage protection.
Dark Saxon gambeson is a better sneaky one than dark Silesian in my opinion.
Shocking you like the Cuman bow better than yew longbow
I used to be all about the Yew, and then Sinew longbow, but at some point it just switched for me.

Unesesary long video
You could've make it shorter
It could have not existed at all. I wasn't in a hurry.
My Henry looks much better than yours. He has a vivid orange/red 'cuffed combat jupon' (20 charisma) to top it all off.
