hey dudes from other side of the world, Im from texas, Have lots of fast LS V8 powered cars, I can tell you guys that I have fun watching your shows, thanks for doing them. It got me looking around for small turbo cars, I came across a cressida to do a turbo build on it. thanks guys keep it up.
What gets me... is I'm pretty sure at this moment they are having a blast driving the MX-5.... while the next vid is in production. I wanna see it now!

I got a placement at a college near me to do a diploma in motor vehicle engineering and maintenance and your videos should help me out alot. I've always loved watching them and always will and hopefully i can show some people doing the same course how MAAAD you guys are and spread the butter about how funny you are and just help you get well known (not that you are not already) and see more videos out because i love them all and would love to see more K11 micra mods cause theres only been one :P

Spot on. I'm 6' and have an NA6.
Knees on the steering wheel are an issue, but only when the hardtop is on as you can just stand up in your seat. You gotta do the "Chick in a Skirt" car exit. Spin in the seat and up.
As for space once in the chair... I still have 3 or 4 clicks on the seat. So more than enough room. I replaced the door handles with straps to give a little more lateral room.
BAHAHA That quote at the very end: "This is a whole new experience. I've played with hard ones before, but I've never played with one that's bendy" hahaha

Unless I misunderstood moog, that turbo is not manufactured by IHI. It's an MHI unit manufactured for Subaru. Apart from the vq-series of turbos, Subaru uses Mitsubishi TD04 turbos on quite a few of their vehicles. (older wrx, the foresters, etc). So in reality, it's actually Mitsubishi making love to the Miata.
MOOG your descriptions of stuff make me laugh louder than an elephant discovering Subarus for the first time.

OakvilleAdam understand that from the inception the miata's engine was originally turboed; the motor was designed for rally racing, and was first a turbo motor, then later the turbo was dropped and it was fitted in the miata, among other cars. On the road these days there are very few cars with engines better suited to taking a turbo on stock internals.
When Marty gets 9/10, his face was so pleased and proud with himself.
the way he held the tig torch made me cringe. like the weld wasn't bad for a first time, but he wouldnt be able to do other positions the way he was holding it.

It is refreshing to see that Turbo Yoda/Al can turbocharge a Miata while also identifying economies of scale in car part manufacturing.

I love your guys videos! The only thing you didn't mention was the fact that the oil line going to the turbo needs to have a restrictor in it to keep from the high oil pressure in the motor pushing oil past the turbo seals and making it burn oil. The stock banjo bolt in the subarus have a restrictor built in. I'm sure you guys or turbo yoda knew that already, you just didn't mention it.
... all weirdness aside you guys capture what the passion for cars really is and present it in such a real way but keep us laughing all throughout... The world needs more MCM!!!!!!!!! RAKE LOVES IT!!! LOL

@wolfren1000 Boost Creep, or Flutter Dumping is when the wastegate flap on the Hot side doesn't open all the way,causing it to make a flutter sound instead of one solid pressure relief sound, and its caused by stock down pipes. U need a Bellmouth down pipe so that the flap can open all the way.
