- We buy the cheapest turbo in the world off eBay and then complete a budget turbo conversion on Yaris Hilton: our nugget Corolla engine swapped Toyota Yaris.
After buying the cheapest Yaris we could find, we realised that it had a 1.3L engine instead of the more powerful 1.5. So we did the only logical thing and engine swapped a 1.8 from a Corolla. But now we're looking at launching into the stratosphere with even more power.

around season 6 it seemed to me that mcm really started to change and morph into something that is now almost unrecognizable. this episode really brought back the same feeling and charm that you guys had at the very beginning of the channel and it was really a pleasure to watch. i hope more videos like these are in works, i miss how enjoyable the videos were and how it was waiting for episodes to come out way back in season 1.

I'm probably not going to mod my car (lack of equipment, space, knowledge), but I appreciate your honesty, detail, realism about prices/time, and presentation. Just started watching you recently and I'm impressed with the content. From this, I'm really glad that 20 years ago I never took an old Uno turbo car to use as parts for my Punto - who knows if the manifolds would have matched let alone the oil lines and drilling required! I wouldn't have had a chance! lol. I need to study more!

I love the Yaris Hilton videos! Sure, the Fairlady and GTI-R are cool, but a Toyota Yaris is so much more obtainable. Feels like old school MCM.

I bought a Leon 1.8t a couple of years ago and after a week or so I noticed it had one of these on. Didn’t expect it to last the rest of the week, two years later it still pulls fine and holds 0.9 bar no problem 👍

Hi Guys. back in the '70s and '80s. I used to do some weird mods on cars. Most of the cars being Ford.
Essex V6 into mk2 Escort Vans, 2000cc V4 into Mk1 Escorts and Mk2 Cortinas fitted with the 3000cc V6 Essex. It was so nice to watch your Vid and take me back 30 odd years.
It would have been nice to have access to Turbos back in the day. I can imagine putting a 1500cc pre crossflow engine in an Mk1 Escort and slapping on a turbo, or a Mini cooper 1275 turbo. Keep it up, guys.

I've been watching for years, I remember what mods you guys where doing ages ago - you've learned heaps over the years, a budget build with applied knowledge (and $169+). This is a pretty mightily modified car! (Albeit a Shit box) An awesome example of what you can do if you just give it a go and persevere. Much appreciate the content, Cheers.
