Super late to the party, but after using these products for a long while, I think the liquid wax as a foundation with the spray topper seems to be the best of both worlds. Seems to last longer than just the spray, and the liquid wax product seems to fill the micro marring just a little bit more. I still think for a one and done, the spray is unbeatable but if you want to layer it and maintain with their liquid detailer you'll really see some solid performance.
My process has been to apply Hybrid Ceramic liquid wax as a base, wait for it to cure, then apply the Hybrid Ceramic spray as a spray-on sealant rather than a drying aid. After three applications of the spray over the course of a year, water still beads after at least four months. This year, I'll be stripping all layers of sealant, removing iron particles and claying the car, then do some polishing and correction to get the car back to a clean slate. Then I'll either stay with Hybrid Ceramic or try a graphene sealant.

For me the spray has been working great and it is awesome to see that I can wet-apply it like it says on the bottle and rejuvenate or even boost the beading during each wash. It takes just a few squirts and I also think using a flat fan to "spread" the product on the panel before it rinses off helps ensure complete coverage.
Both products are good but in my opinion the Liquid wax is better because it’s concentrated. That means you use 4-6 drops per panel compared to 5-6 full sprays on the same panel which makes it last longer with same results. It’s more value
The initial coat of HCW is supposed to be rubbed in wet not dry per the instructions. The HCW is an amazing product, and can't wait to try the HC Detailer too!
Your supposed to spray the ceramic spray wax on when the car is wet, then just rinse it off and dry the car. You can also use the ceramic spray after every wash. Looks great and couldn’t be easier
Initial base layer is spray on wet and wipe / dry off. Reapplication is spray and rinse. . Works better, spreads more even, when wiped in. Not just rinsed off. It’s awesome and easy.

I own a black colour sedan and have been using the Maguire’s liquid ceramic spray since first introduced and my question is who cares how long it lasts? I apply it every couple of washes and the car look fabulous like new all the time. Just spay when you wipe down the car, that’s all there is to it. It’s great in our Canadian winters cause the snow and ice just easily comes off. I use it on the car panels, glass, wheels. In fact I use it all over when I wash my Harley, patio sets, outside furniture, lawn mover, snowblower and so much mover. Just makes everything look like new with little future maintenance. I applied the HCSW in the first of August. It is now near the end of December. It is still going strong. I have not applied any further wax coatings since August. I have washed it 6 times. Still going strong.

I like the spray because of the easy reapply. I put the foundation layer down in late fall and now that its cold and snowy here I can do the spray and rinse when I can get a wash in. Not going to be applying a liquid when its 15F out.
Recently started using Turtle Wax Seal n Shine based on your findings! Can't be beat for ~$10 and ease of use... and thats after having tried Collinite 845, Megs Fast Finish, & Adam's buttery wax in the past.
Ye look, sandpaper definitely works better for oxidation that's already spiderwebbing (definitely hid some though)....this shit did super help with painted plastic parts (side mirrors...thats it) that I thought I'd have to fully repaint which was nice....leaves much to be desired with hail damage though Give it a 5/7, would not leave my car out during a storm again
I think some people might be substituting a "spray wax" for a traditional wax and DA buff as their base coat. From my experiences with a lot of these products, they work best at protection, shine, and hydrophobic properties when sprayed on a vehicle that has that good base coat already put down at some point. I would not use spray waxes as my only coat of protection. That of course is just my opinion....Anyone else agree??
He did the first application which you apply it to clean surface and let it cure. Then after that you can just apply while the car is wet and dry it off to keep the hydrophobicity.
I just used the spray (correctly) and was a huge skeptic. I have to say the results were ridiculous. The car looks like glass, better then when new. You really don’t have to use much either. I will be using again.
I just bought the liquid yesterday and thankfully I haven't opened it yet. Will be returning the liquid tomorrow in exchange for the spray. Preciate the video.
I guess average people usually dont have the time or energy to prep (Paint correction, Polishing, claying, Decontaminating etc) their car's surface. And I believe for a normal un-prepped surface the liquid wax might give better durability as compared to spray wax simply because u have to rub it in while applying. But it is just a theory. May be u can test this theory in a future video and see if spray wax can show the same durability on an un-prepped surface as the liquid wax.
I acually tested the spray on a friend's truck. No prep and no base coat just a good wash. It acually does pretty good. I think I used Megs wash and wax soap just to try and help it out some, but I don't remember for sure. He just does the rince off application once a month when he wash his truck still. The truck looks good all things considered. Beads ain't as tight, but other then that their is not much down side to not spending 8hrs prepping and doing a corection on it.
I've still got a bottle of the spray to use up. Used it only once this year and I also tried diluting some to use as a drying aid.......seems to work well.
I believe what he's referring to is the hash mark like hashtag it's what Meguiars does on their own channel for both of these products that make sure you get an even layer product
I've had friends and family tell me that I need to use a paste wax and the sprays I use are not high quality good sprays. (Turle wax new line and the ice line.) They haven't done their research and are not wanting to change to admit that the new tech is different and better in many ways. I think people think that the harder you work the better result you'll get and that's why they stick with the paste wax spending 2 to 3 times longer waxing their car, with results that are not as good with less protection. I'm surprised that megs new product doesn't protect as well as their older product.
Ana It's because of those people, they still make liquid waxes. Paste... Meh, for nostalgic reasons I get the idea, and will do that myself. When I'm working, I want to get done and get paid asap.
So I have both. I’m not sure why you think the spray wax is easier or faster. Squeezing the bottle or squeezing the trigger and wiping makes no difference in time. Also while it may be true that the spray version beads up for longer, if that’s what you’re looking for great. But if you were looking to hide swirl marks and get a deep looking shine, the liquid is definitely the way to go. But it has to go on a lot thicker than you did. Which means more product and more cost. . The spray bottle will definitely last longer.
Thanks Drew,. I was wondering if I could do dry. I'm going to purchase the quick spray. I usually buy the quick detailer by meguiars with excellent results. Happy detailing!
I’m still lost, all these test,I’ve seen on different channels, and still they are all about the same, one is know better than the other, not able to wash and wax like I could when in good health, unfortunately I hav to go through a car wash, but my black Caddy will be takin care of one way or another ,I know TW has changed over the years,so guess it will be the winner, thanks for the time u spent to show us this
Great video and testing Jimbo! That Bleach tire cleaner is that actually bleach in it. It seems to be so and very strong one that is as it took them out so quick. Would maybe be interesting to see how it does with a weaker APC or something that other products stands up to. It's like when you used the Optimum Power Clean straight before and it pretty much took everything out exept a very few like SNS. Perfect example of how HCW behave and why it needs to be applyied in the way they recommend. When you topped it with it self you saw their where not much of water standing on the paint. And it gave you a better water behavior directly after the application with just spray on and rinse off. On the Liquid Ceramic Wax the water was standing flat. It's here recommended that you spray it on the wet paint and then dry it with a mf drying towel. You could also just wipe it in and rinse off and see that it will working that way to. But when you have water standing flat on the paint it's not able to break through the water tension and just rinses off. So that's why they recommend you to work it in while you drying the paint. Maybe on the HCW side it had some residue of the Bleach product that you used. As this is something that these spray on rinse off products is sensitive if even you have a little car soap residue left it will degrade the performance you get from the spray on rinse off products. But interesting to see how HCW looked when getting on the standing water and how it don't works then with the spray on rinse off method and needs to be helped by getting through the water to work.
Awesome and honest comparison brother!! Im an o.t.r buzz box "reefer" hauler, and i use the bottle regularly with great success on the '19 peterbilt 579 i drive. For in between i use the meguiars wash/wax spray, and their spray wax, but i think ill add the ceramic spray as well. Ive also learnt that 'parently i use too much tho....lol the traditional i typically use on home time with a buffer, but the ceramic spray will be a great adition to my bag of weapons so to speak..proud new subber too b.t.w...
I've just switched back to the Meguiars Ultimate Fast finish after using the Hybrid ceramic spray wax. i'm not happy with the finish after applying it, and it did not protect my paint the way the Ultimate fast finish does, the ultimate fast finish makes my car look much better than the hybrid ceramic spray....
You better buy up all of the fast finish you can now. I saw in the comment section of Meguiars 2020 product video at SEMA, that they will likely be discontinuing it soon due to it not catching on very well. They did say it was a good product though.
@Frank Pipolo You sir are a smart man! I too don't like risking it, and will buy a case real quick! They typically have a long enough shelf life so better safe than sorry if you ask me.
Wash your car! Rinse! Put the Meguiars Ceramic Wax on a Microfiber sponge from Wal-Mart for $1.97. Wipe the Ceramic wax while its wet back and forth and side to side over the whole car windows and rims or hub caps. Then hit whole car with water. a couple of times. Dry with a Microfiber towel. It will last and shine and shed the water off. One a month wash your car and do it all over. You will see how good this product is! Shawn
I have done a couple of dry applications of HCW and it looks great once you get a full coverage and this is noticeable on my black car. Summer time looks great and doesn’t attract dust which I like but now that we have moved into winter it doesn’t last until the next wash which is AT LEAST once a month. Hydrophobic’s are awesome on a spray and rinse application but are gone by the next wash even after a wash with CarPro Reset. Applied TAC Systems Moonlight to my girlfriends car recently ( doesn’t get too much care)to test and without too much prep and so far I’m impressed so will be doing the same to mine.
I use that meguiars hybrid ceramic wax alot. It's perfect for my wife's car that we do maintenance washes every 2 weeks-1 month. It's usually still very hydrophobic even after that time in brutal MN road salt/snow and also 48 degrees isn't cold 😂
I put the meguiars ceramic spray and wax on my wife's car and after a couple months after washing. I sprayed it on and wiped it in with a microfiber before rinsing it off. I have a harder time with it streaking than you do but I have hard water. It comes right back to life and has lasted 3 more months. Her car always beads up nice and is very easy to wash. Her car is a dark blue so it doesn't show the dirt as bad as my white truck. I've been using the turtle wax seal and shine on my truck but the Ohio salt is killing it. Very hard to wash and get it back to the bright white finish.
Just a tips. Is to do as you do but use max 2 sprays per panel as the HCW is thick and strong. If you have a PW use the water pressure from the it and get the nozzle half of a foot away from the vehical if you have a weaker electric PW if you have bigger PW a foot away and hit every part of the vehical with the water pressure. And also just do 1 or 2 panel with spray it on and then wipe it in and rinse off thoroughly. When you spray it on do like Jimbo did and try to spread it out when you spray it on. Then since you have hard water just wet the whole vehical after or before you rinse the HCW off the panel during the application process. So you get minimal of water spots. If you like the spray on rinse off products as I do a lot and does the application as described. Try out the Gyeon Wet Coat and if you have used it before when the bottle was clear. The new version of it is very much more effective from the first application of it. And the self cleaning ability from it blows HCW and the SNS away with a margin. Have been testing these 3 products on the same car and the Wet Coat is my favorite spray on rinse off product as of now. Have been useing Sonax Spray and Seal also and it's gloss is what it excells from. Carpro Hydro2 lite is still also a very good product and is up with the Wet Coat in the performance. Hope it helps you a little if you don't already do the application that I described. You can also use a mf towel and buff the streaking from HCW if you get them still. A good mf drying towel is usually not so good at buffing streaking off but might work if it's little of it. You can also use a slightly damp mf towel also with better streaking removal if you get a lot of it.
Tony Mattisson hey Tony, or should I say Swetm, this is DMilgio from AG forums. I can tell it’s you because nobody types longer paragraphs and responses longer than me! Hahaha, good to see you on YT as well!
Where you pointed “wonder if I applied it”? when talking about the right side application. Actually you did lightly apply on the right side apply and missed the right side middle area towards the center of the hood area ... where as with the left side you wiped over and over a lot more then on the right side. Just my observation 🤔
@@autodetailingpodcast some of the videos I've seen says your suppose to apply it when wet? does it matter? I've always used spray wax when the paint is dry. but it says on the instructions wet? and dry with microfiber towel. does it matter?
@@rsea910 Dry application is fantastic for the first application. There are plenty of tests to show that it provides even better results than many other, much more expensive and far less convenient products. The reason Meguiar's does not recommend it is that they formulated the product to both be incredibly convenient/easy while working as well as or better than the competition when used with water (dry will work even better remember). In doing this, they also created a product that is a bit more finicky *if applied dry*. When dry applying, it is extremely easy to use too much and leave a residue. Meguiar's does not need a mass of customers leaving screaming/angry bad reviews on amazon/TH-cam/forums because the customers used the product in a way that proves *harder* to get proper results. If used well on a dry surface, it is ASTOUNDING. If too much is used, or residue is left, it will seem very disappointing. Since they formulated it to work very well with water, the intended results are MUCH more likely to be achieved by the average consumer when used as directed. In other words, if you use it dry, and do it right, you have an excellent product and will get even better results.
I’m wondering if they are dialing it back because the initial spray by meguiars and turtle are too good. Meaning that they realized the protection was lasting too long and they were actually losing business.
I thought I am the only one noticing... The quality of turtle wax before is way better than today. I can say that because we had a couple of turtle wax before because we bought a few bottles way back because it was sold at a discounted price during the late 1990s, until now there is something left. Comparing the quality of the old formula with the new turtle wax now and other brands the wax before is a lot better.
I wanted the Hybrid Ceramic spray wax but it wasn't available ao I got the bottle of liquid Hybrid Ceramic wax. I think the liquid was a bit better in your video. It's all good B/C I always apply the product to an applicator anyway, even with detailer.
hello Jimbo. Geat videos. Can you compare Meguiars Paste Wax M16 with MEG'S HYBRID CERAMIC SPRAY WAX? maybe it will start new series OLD vs NEW :) thank you
I’m glad you did the dry application of the spray hybrid, I’m thinking of doing the same, I’m in Australia with the the harshest UV environment in the world, on my Lexus isf which is in star fire pearl ( white) softish paint, 2 coats mags ultimate wax a week apart then I more week apart 1 dry coat of hybrid spray, stacking the the hybrid and dry app makes it look and last longer
Shane Surman from oz as well. I’m in the same boat. Not sure whether to apply the ceramic spray wax on dry or wet for my first foundation? What are you doing? Follow the bottle instructions? Or apply the first foundation dry?
AMEX this guy is from Australia also th-cam.com/video/s1rMMrOqGTg/w-d-xo.html I did the the dry application method using a foam applicator pad and micro fibre hand buff off looks pretty amazing and added even more depth to the ultimate wax, I haven’t got the car wet as yet, the more I looked at the product it’s looks to me to more of a topper or final sealer, I only just found out after I did the dry application that mags also bring out a ceramic wipe on wipe off wax, pretty sure it’s the same stuff different colour
Meguiar's makes a ceramic wash that boosts the hydrophobic properties after applying either the spray HCSW or the HCLW. As far as the Hybrid Ceramic Detailer goes, it is a great product, but I only recommend using it when the surface is cool or even cold. Otherwise, it streaks really bad. I have been using Meguiar's products for 41 years, and I am super happy with their hybrid ceramic products.
Dude do a layering of the products and use a dry application of all the products put the paste on first and then the blue bottle and then the new green bottle SIO2 Spray on detailer, so that people get to see how good the stuff really is?
Hey, love the spray pattern of the nozzle.....where can I get one? Or is it factor of water pressure?. Love the demo, tried both and it is easier with spray. Myth....yes
Jody Klintworth if you applied it like he did, you’re doing it wrong. It’s to be applied on a wet car and dried. The water is part of the catalyst to apply the product. If you spray too much, removal does become tricky.
Well after looking and looking i found your video, a DRY application of this spray, thanks....Could you tell us did you noticed anything out of the ordinary?
Awesome Video. It's the exact question I had between these two products. So here is a really really good question for you.... Since the spray hybrid wax is designed to spray on and just rinse off... Could you add some to your soap of choice and essentially apply wax as you wash? Try a video with doing that.
That's basically the whole basis of the product. Right?? But, wouldn't the soap be too strong and thin out the ceramic ingredients? I would still like to imagine spraying the ceramic wax separate after your car was cleaned properly. Then use a micro to spread it around alittle more after that rinse.
What if you apply first the liquid wax and after curing apply again the spray wax what will happen is it more protective or just use 1 wax?which one is better?
It is interesting to note that any small ingredient magic changes from Meguiars will deserve thousands end consumers taking years to figure out. Here is my bold guess: 1 gallon of M27 = 1 gallon of M66 + one small purple bottle of Ceramic liquid.
It's worth noting that cold temperatures slow water sheeting and beading, so it's not a great comparison to your tests performed in the summer time. I'm still excited to try the liquid version as it seems to have super easy application and removal. I would like to see you do more "real" world testing - IE: Apply to panel and just wash with proper soap. A chemically durable product isn't always as durable in real world testing.
I use chemical guys clean slate then realized dawn is just fine, clayed bar with meguiar's detailing mist then follow with hybrid spray wax then turtle wax black ice
You get the hydro back with the spray and rinse back if the ri nse was less powerful (got rraid of too much product too quick) and a wipe dry. From experience.
i was really pullin for the liquid wax but oh well. i know it says to apply the spray wax to a wet surface but i honestly hate doing that. does it make a difference too much if you spray it on a dry panel? this is the reason I was considering getting a liquid wax light the new ceramic liquid or the CG hydro wax. thanks for the advice, keep the awesome vids coming!
A number of people recommend using the hybrid ceramic spray on a lightly damp car, spraying it on and spreading it with a microfiber cloth, then buffing off the residue. This seems to produce the best results, rather than spraying it on and rinsing it with a hose. I do all applications of hybrid ceramic spray this way, and water beading continues for a few months afterwards.

Ye look, sandpaper definitely works better for oxidation that's already spiderwebbing (definitely hid some though)....this shit did super help with painted plastic parts (side mirrors...thats it) that I thought I'd have to fully repaint which was nice....leaves much to be desired with hail damage though
Give it a 5/7, would not leave my car out during a storm again
Some cars are like "please don't 😟" 😅
So tell us which spray you think is the better/best. Don't leave us hanging!
Hope you had a great Christmas with the family.
THANK YOU! We really need to know!
kr flyguy He did say the spray works best
Spray and Seal is still the champ in my book.
Just watched Mequiars spray demo, you didn't wet the car first and then spray and then rinse, and then dry off with micro fiber towel.
True
Its has been found to work better if you apply it dry.
th-cam.com/video/s1rMMrOqGTg/w-d-xo.html
Tiger productionzz this is what I did today and it did work better dry
He did the first application which you apply it to clean surface and let it cure. Then after that you can just apply while the car is wet and dry it off to keep the hydrophobicity.
I just used the spray (correctly) and was a huge skeptic. I have to say the results were ridiculous. The car looks like glass, better then when new. You really don’t have to use much either. I will be using again.
What's the color of your vehicle?
I used it couldn't tell any difference.
Ridiculous?
DITTO !
What do you mean by correctly ?
I just bought the liquid yesterday and thankfully I haven't opened it yet. Will be returning the liquid tomorrow in exchange for the spray. Preciate the video.
You should note that you can also use the spray over the liquid wax as well. And you can use the detailer over both.
For the liquid hybrid wax u need to have a wet surface. I have heard that you put the new ceramic wax on top of the hybrid wax
No that’s for spray aqueous wax, this is polish
Because the spray wax gets overspray on other areas. And if it's too windy it's a real pain. The liquid can be applied with precision.
I've still got a bottle of the spray to use up. Used it only once this year and I also tried diluting some to use as a drying aid.......seems to work well.
Keith Firebird I diluted mine 10:1 for use as a detail spray. Does phenomenal at that dilution and keeps the surface freshly protected
What do u dilute it with?
Try laying the the liquid hybrid ceramic wax in a cross-hatch, tetrahedral lattice pattern ;)
Apex Mobile Detailing & Ceramic Coatings LLC as opposed to just misting the entire car , post- stripping?
How would you get to the z axis on a 2 dimensional surface exactly?
It does say you're supposed to go over it twice with the liquid, which he did not do.
I believe what he's referring to is the hash mark like hashtag it's what Meguiars does on their own channel for both of these products that make sure you get an even layer product
FOr the average person, this is the way its gonna be done.
Yeah lmao applying paste wax on a car is a pain in the ass. Rather be done right away I got other appointments to go..
Those paste wax are outdated.... except Fusso coat (old version)
@@Carlos.Rivera well said Carlos! No point wasting alot of time for half the durability of a spray ceramic wax
Ana It's because of those people, they still make liquid waxes.
Paste... Meh, for nostalgic reasons I get the idea, and will do that myself. When I'm working, I want to get done and get paid asap.
It does protect. This jimbo fool is a tool. Now I see why so many people say that about him.
Spray is faster because you literally spray it on the car when it’s wet then rinse it off … how have you been using it??
Would you say applying the liquid wax every few months and the applying a top up with spray on wax every month would be a good way to go?
Imo I liked the feeling of liquid wax after its buffed off and the deeper shine of it
the hybrid liquid wax can be applied with a da which fast as well, so both applications are reasonably fast
it's my understanding that the spray is for applying over top of ceramic or wax - such as the liquid stuff - to add protection and for quick touch up
I used the liquid ceramic wax then a week later used the ceramic spray (dry application, didn't follow wet directions). Results=PHENOMENAL
Thanks Drew,. I was wondering if I could do dry. I'm going to purchase the quick spray. I usually buy the quick detailer by meguiars with excellent results. Happy detailing!
Using my 5th spray bottle so far. With regular weekly wash it's a fantastic all over product. No experience with liquid version.
Tony Mattisson very good comment!
In December, we’re happy to see double digit temps. Lol
That cart is stressing me out lol
Justin Meyer does the opposite for me because it's how a normal person like me would keep things
Omg . me also. Im ocd detailer hahaha
Sony Hawk i agree with you 100% but I do use the ceramic spray as a top coat. It works very well!
Shawn
Thank you so much for sorting this out. No more Meguiars Carnauba for this old timer. It should be better if you work harder, but it ain't!
Cool test demo. I just recently used the Meguires wax ceramic spray. So far so good. Definitely less is more with the product.
Thanks man!
@@autodetailingpodcast What detailing blower do you have ?
I can honestly say that MEGUIARS HYBRID CERAMIC SPRAY I use is super the shine is amazing even when it's dusty dirty!
I use that meguiars hybrid ceramic wax alot. It's perfect for my wife's car that we do maintenance washes every 2 weeks-1 month. It's usually still very hydrophobic even after that time in brutal MN road salt/snow and also 48 degrees isn't cold 😂
I'm sitting in my garage in Ohio in a t-shirt about 48 right now. Cool but not cold.
Chicago hit something like high of 59. Felt like spring again the day after Christmas. Also use HCW and I like it so far
Hcw is a good product. I'll spray the car every few washes. Its cheap and easy. Seems to hold up well for me.
The Spray version better NOT be better.... I am in my car AFTER buying the liquid stuff 20 mins ago watching this ....
Where you pointed “wonder if I applied it”? when talking about the right side application. Actually you did lightly apply on the right side apply and missed the right side middle area towards the center of the hood area ... where as with the left side you wiped over and over a lot more then on the right side. Just my observation 🤔
If you think an extra wipe or two makes that big a difference?
@@googleleavemynamealone9145 regardless if you wiped over the same area IT DOES NOT MATTER THE PRODUCT SUCKS

I am still sticking to my turtle was seal and shine. The best there is.
agree.
So what do you think is better ? I’ve just bought the spray wax and love it’s ease of use .
Liquid wax i think is for user experience, i like it because it is theraputic
What one would you use for headlight protection
We still wearing shorts in Louisiana at 48deg. We don’t put on pants until it hits upper 30’s.

@@BrodeyDoverosx my ceramic spray from Meguiars didn't last more than two weeks like cleaner wax for example 3in1 Meguiars
AMEX this guy is from Australia also th-cam.com/video/s1rMMrOqGTg/w-d-xo.html
I did the the dry application method using a foam applicator pad and micro fibre hand buff off looks pretty amazing and added even more depth to the ultimate wax, I haven’t got the car wet as yet, the more I looked at the product it’s looks to me to more of a topper or final sealer, I only just found out after I did the dry application that mags also bring out a ceramic wipe on wipe off wax, pretty sure it’s the same stuff different colour
Cool! it would be interesting to see how each would keep up when touching up with the hybrid ceramic detailer product after regular Meguiars soap.
Why?
Are both of these products okay to use on (friendly to) black plastic trims?
Hey, love the spray pattern of the nozzle.....where can I get one? Or is it factor of water pressure?. Love the demo, tried both and it is easier with spray. Myth....yes
I find the hybrid by Megs extremely difficult to remove on its recommendation for initial application. But I’m here in a nasty humid environment
Jody Klintworth if you applied it like he did, you’re doing it wrong. It’s to be applied on a wet car and dried. The water is part of the catalyst to apply the product.
If you spray too much, removal does become tricky.

Awesome Video. It's the exact question I had between these two products. So here is a really really good question for you.... Since the spray hybrid wax is designed to spray on and just rinse off... Could you add some to your soap of choice and essentially apply wax as you wash? Try a video with doing that.
It would definitely make for an interesting test
@@autodetailingpodcast Yes! 100% agree. Would be easy and quick to test out.
That's basically the whole basis of the product. Right?? But, wouldn't the soap be too strong and thin out the ceramic ingredients? I would still like to imagine spraying the ceramic wax separate after your car was cleaned properly. Then use a micro to spread it around alittle more after that rinse.
I like seeing beads...I’m sticking with ultimate or gold class.
We pay almost double for Meguires in the UK. $28 for the liquid wax in the UK.
not worth double that's for sure.
Michal Scott- JIMBO!
What if you apply first the liquid wax and after curing apply again the spray wax what will happen is it more protective or just use 1 wax?which one is better?
Ya you will see more durability if you do it that way.
I use the spray an I love it the more I use it the better the shine
It is interesting to note that any small ingredient magic changes from Meguiars will deserve thousands end consumers taking years to figure out.
Here is my bold guess: 1 gallon of M27 = 1 gallon of M66 + one small purple bottle of Ceramic liquid.
Would love to have that Porsche 930. Sold mine in 2012 and regret it.
Hi Dear. Tks for the video. You said that are other products better than those. Could you tell me which one is the best for you?
I like Turtle wax and the last coat produts.
I use chemical guys clean slate then realized dawn is just fine, clayed bar with meguiar's detailing mist then follow with hybrid spray wax then turtle wax black ice
Its the same in both bottles? Just one spray and the other is if u have time
Maybe. They claim it’s a little different but who knows.
You get the hydro back with the spray and rinse back if the ri nse was less powerful (got rraid of too much product too quick) and a wipe dry. From experience.
48 degrees Fahrenheit? Thats 8.9 degrees Celsius. That's positively balmy for the north east of England. Might put a jacket on!
Can I combine both? If so, which should I apply first??
i was really pullin for the liquid wax but oh well. i know it says to apply the spray wax to a wet surface but i honestly hate doing that. does it make a difference too much if you spray it on a dry panel? this is the reason I was considering getting a liquid wax light the new ceramic liquid or the CG hydro wax. thanks for the advice, keep the awesome vids coming!
