Very helpful video, I just have a question can you still reuse the plate/gasket that is sandwiched between the valve body and also what’s the torque sequence when putting the valve body together and also installing the valve body back into the the transmission.
@@tryfixinit8438 I cleaned them up and put them back in but it started to drive the same agian except no check engine light, one time at a red light the car just almost didnt go and I turned it off and back on it drove fine after that. The main issue I have is when I brake the rpm rises up and I hear a cluck almost all the time, Do you think I should change the valve body, also thinking of a cvt oil flush but I’m scared it might cause more damage, this all started when I changed the cvt fluid when I got the car at 58k miles I think it washed away all the gunk into my solenoids or valve body before that it was perfect. How is yours running?
did you just spray the solenoids like that or did you put power to the solenoid and actuate the valve inside the solenoid to clean them? I'm having the same problem and I put a whole new valve body with the old rom so I don't need to program it but still has the same issue. should i just super clean out the old valve body including the solenoids with carb cleaner and put it back in?
Hi, I have a 2015 Nissan Sentra SV would the valve body be the cause of rpm being higher than the acceleration? Also, it just started not wanting to accelerate when driving even if I press the gas pedal all the ay down, then after a couple of minutes it will accelerate. I do have the code P2859A
My regular mechanic said I would have to get a new transmission but didn’t even check it, just said that because of the symptoms being experienced. Thank you

Yes, you can. Clean, put it back, and you are good.

The warranty was 5yr 60k but from a class action law suit was moved to7yr and 84k, for the CVT.
And they still fail just after the warranty. Do not buy Nissans, or cvt vehicles if possible

Try reprogramming the TCM.
This is a long shot but did you ever figure out what happened? I’m having the same problem currently. New valve body, old ROM and still same issue

Resistor you measure resistance but with solenoid it’s called impedance.
my car 2016 dose not move at all forword . and i have the code p2857 clutch A pressure dose the valve body or selonoyd make this problem ?
You can try changing the solenoids, but I will recommend changing the valve body if it's new

What did you end up doing to your car? I’m having the same issue at the moment, a month after my cars warranty ended

Did you need reprogram if you just did a cleaning to the valve body?
