I only saw and applied the fixing of the GT DD Pro steering wheel to the center in your videos. For this reason, I thank you very much.
I loved my Fanatec Products!! The Entire Eco system is Fleshed out for All budgets! For those who can’t swing CSL DD ATM. The CSL Elite was an Amazing product!! Still have it in case my DD craps out… does not matter What you drive! It’s that you drive at all! We where Blessed to have lived in such a time in human history! Just pray your grandchildren have Better!!!

Broooo!!! I swear man. You guys are the best. Been driving me nuts cause I’m watching streamers with the wheel and I’m like why aren’t they turning the wheel as mush as me?!?! Auto settings are garbage on GT7

Thank you for explaining this so well, as a complete noob in the world of sim racing is really helpful. I went on my initial setup all the way with this wheel to play GT7 and want to add to your guide.
Anyone playing on PS5 GT7 also check the settings of auto assist, this will considerably reduce force feedback or increase it depending on the settings there.
At first I did not knew this and was all enabled which caused the force feedback to be very low and thought I had a defective unit.

Love your videos man keep up the good work! Got a question how do you get the rumble on the V3 pedals to work with GT7?
The Brake Level Indicator (BLi / BRK Ind) tuning item allows adjustment of the percentage of brake input force at which point the rumble motors kick in, from OFF to 100%. Obviously, only available with pedal sets that include these motors. In the case of Fanatec, only the ClubSport V3 or V3 Inverted Pedal sets. As much as I love my V3 pedals, I found the rumble motors to be only minimally useful, and they add complexity and fiddle factor aggravation when adjusting or changing pedals or pedal faces, so I removed the motors entirely.
Sorry they didn’t help that other guy.. but I find mine to very helpful for finding Slip point on brake grip.. if you bring up the BLI and push brake, with right wheel (LED) make the vibration line up with vibration at ABS POINT! Sure it’s a small thing. But has helped me from locking up brake. Especially early days of using a wheel and pedal set
Hi can someone help please. Get do pro was working fine on GT7 then after playing asset to Cross my PS 4 picks it up as csl elite and non of the tuning buttons work anymore! I have tried updating firm ware no luck hope someone has suggestions thanks

Hello, when I turn on the base, the steering wheel starts to turn but once it stops, it is not right in the middle, but rather tilted a little to the left. Why will it be?

Have just purchased the GT DD Pro and I am wondering what the mounting clamps are that you are using as I find the Fanatec one (plastic one) is not suitable.. thank you!

@@fredeyeo I was pressing the wrong button there is the screen shot butting but near it is a very small black button to access the tuning menu. I think this is what I was talking about but this comment was 7 months ago lol
Amazing videos always ,thank you , i do have a question ,i just purchased the DD pro wheel base for PS4 (and Xbox ready ?) why is nobody talking about this ? or did i just buy a piece of crap? anyways i have a Mclaren wheel which also says PS4 ready ,and its not working with either console ,i havent tried the pc just yet , help please ,thank you
I got my dd pro and did latest firmware update and I don’t have a shock ffb setting in menu. Do you know why??
I have the wheel and I can not find center calibration for gt7 ps5? No one covers this. My wheel is slightly turned to the left. I want to center it but can't.
Plug it into a laptop (pc) or if you have a formula wheel ,press tuning menu then press on the two joysticks at the same time while the wheel is centred
I have a question about the DD GT 8nm package and is it compatible with Fanatic clubsport shifter, handbrake, and clubsport V 3 pedals ?
In case you are still looking for an answer... yes to the shifter v1.5, yes to the sq handbrake, and I only have the pedals that came with the gt dd pro so I can't answer on the v3's, hopefully you can find the last answer.
@@zachbell7431 Thank you so much! This really gives me great relief. I had actually placed my order earlier today for the GT DD Pro 8nm with load cell brake pedal. I have to wait like a month because there's a wait for the load cell. Anyways I got the shifter and handbrake, and figured even if it doesn't work I'd have it for whenever I get to build my computer (GPU).
Now I'm really looking into a sim rig. I really want the TR120 but that's backed up too. Looking at the RSeat P1, it looks good but I'm kinda stuck on the Track Racer. I'm trying to buy once - cry once on the rig itself. I. I'm sure I'll be upgrading pedals and and wheels in near future.
Any suggestions you might have please let me know. And again thanks so much for taking the time to answer. It's really appreciated.

@@Goodnuggz I actually have the rseat p1 and I love it. It's not profile but you can easily add some to it to fit a motion platform.
The integrated monitor mount is super clean too.
I feel ya on the load cell kit, same boat has both our parts it would seem.
I will say that with the 8nm kit, I opted to use the upgraded qr1 just for peace of mind against any broken pins.
It took me a day or so to get everything set up but man...once you're in your rig, hella cool lol.

I have the gt dd pro. I also have the Porsche gt3 wheel. It supposed to connect to Xbox but I can get it to work. Anyone know how?
Would I need to connect the dd to a pc to configure or do any initial setup to use on a ps5? and are these modes and settings available with other wheels as well?
Plug and play out of the box for Playstation console. Not sure on a p.c. great wheel. Have had it for a few days now. Much improvement over the g29. I can't wait for the new cockpit to be delivered. I also bought the clubsport v3 inverted pedal set. I have been using the base pedal set that comes in the bundle for now.

@@mvg-1776 if it’s plug and play then will the McLaren GT3 v2 will work as plug and play or that one needs to be updated to latest firmware ?
@@JDMRooqui Updating to latest firmware is always a good idea. That said, the McLaren wheel is P&P compatible with PlayStation 4/5 when used with a PS compatible wheel base (like the DD Pro), and XB compatible with any wheelbase. Fanatec's very shrewd in that they put the PS compatibility chip in the wheel base, and the XB chip in the wheel.
@@phineas59 my windows pc isnt even detecting my dd pro for the firmware update. But it still works fine on GT7 and on my PS5. I wonder if im missing out on anything?
How come your GT7 wheel is coming off that easy? Mine is so tight....I need all my strength to put it on and off. I kinda wonder if my base or wheel is faulty :(

I find if I run my DD pro in compatibility mode (purple) then the GT specific buttons to change TC, BB etc don’t work
Interesting. I’m running the CSL BMW wheel with this wheelbase and compatibility mode is the only mode that allows the d-pad to change the MFD on GT7 such as TCS etc. if I have it in native PS5 mode (blue light) those buttons don’t work.

Presume you mean center point calibration. If so...
Enter the tuning menu, physically center the wheel, and press the OPTION (with the 3 horizontal bars) and "X" buttons together.

Anyone noticed if there's feedback on the highway joints (Tokyo stage) on the DD Pro?? Even my G27 had that feedback..? Not sure if I f up my settings though if so, how do go back to default settings?

enter tuning mode, hold your wheel center then press 3 lines button and x button together

Quick question, I have the csl dd pro, and I have the center point perfectly set up. However, the wheel is never going to the center point by himself, always going on the right side a bit. I was wondering if I am the only one or if this is normal. It’s not affecting gameplay, but it is annoying as when I turn on the wheel, it never goes on the center by itself.
I believe it has something to do with the magnetic stuff in the wheelbase, you can actually feel it a little bit, nothing to worry about tho
Following from Fanatec's DD Pro manual:
"If Spring (SPr) is adjusted to low values or OFF, the wheel base
will not be able to move the attached steering wheel to the correct centre
position after a centre calibration is performed. Only adjust these values
higher than 100% if the FFB effects are not strong enough and weaker in
comparison to other games..."
I encountered this myself with my DD Pro, and bumping the SPr up to 50 resolved the issue.
@@phineas59 I’ll give it a try to check. Again I don’t have issue in game, but don’t really like that by itself, my steering is not straight ahah.

By "press the button" I presume you're referring to the tiny button just to the left of the GT wheel's 1" OLED display. If your wheel base is plugged in and powered up, and the wheel is correctly seated on the WB hub, then you should get a the stylized "F" on the OLED display as soon as you push the button, followed by the tuning menu. If you don't, then you've got a hardware fault in either the WB or wheel or both.

Later I watched on my tv and then I saw that I have the press the tiny button , so it was my mistake.
