- This 2012 Mustang GT features a Paxton Novi 2000 Centrifugal Supercharger mounted on a stock bottom end, good for over 500 wheel horsepower. It's got Whiteline swaybars, bushings, and lower control arms, and an upgraded driveshaft to keep it all in line, then it's mounted on good Hankook rubber. Now that the last-generation Mustangs have dropped in price, a package like this is a great way to get into a very fast car, for not that much money.
Nice car, owner seems chill, not sure why he's getting so much hate. He's maybe not the most enthusiastic, but he doesn't come off as arrogant and seems down to earth about the whole thing. He's probably just a relatively quiet, laidback guy. Nothing wrong with that.
Seems like if people can't bitch about the car, they'll just find something else to tear apart. Or maybe it's because he has a mustang people automatically want to think he's a douche...

I have pretty bad social anxiety and I'm the same way. When I go to college I sit in the way back corner of the room and try to stay under the radar as much as I can. One day, this guy started making conversation with me, and he was trying to hint at the fact that he thought I was trying to be cool. Little did he know, that I'm terrified to interact with people!! The point is that you never know what's going on with people and don't be so quick to judge. Maybe his dog died, maybe he's going through a nasty divorce. You just can't know.

Great point about the internet trolls playing the numbers game. Anyone who actually drives hard knows that even 300 hp can feel pretty damn fast.
Stomping a 120hp Miata down a good mountain road can already make you feel like Senna. "Fast" is a relative concept after all. Doing 120mph in a fat Benz on the Autobahn doesn't feel nearly as fast as doing 50mph in that Miata on a tight road.
1g feels fast at any speed. It can be launching a Tesla or putting your knee down on a mini bike.
Sam Swed 300hp in a 2000lb car is gonna be fast.
i had a 93 civic with 350whp. it was super fun and hauled ass. i think it was around 2200lbs.
funny thing is i had this one really obese friend i gave a rode in it. he is so big it made it hard to shit. weight 500lbs or around there. car felt so slow with him in it. lol
200hp can even feel fast, especially if you've never ridden in anything faster than that

I think the coyote goes better with these Paxton/Vortech superchargers. The boost curve helps the variable valve timing still do its job. More torque in the low end more hp in the top end.
Love the spotlights behind the grille. And call me crazy but this body style is miles better than the new one.

Yes, this body style was great when it came out... But as soon as the Mustang switched to the new body style, this one immediately looked dated to me. I really don't understand how you don't like the new body style... It's a great looking car.

Have you ever even looked at the two cars side by side? Wow... The grill opening and the lower part of the front fascia on both cars are relatively similar, so the Mustang looks like a 2 door Fusion? Only if a Ford Fusion looked like the car rendering at the following link would your statement be true...

Take a closer look at the Mustang... There's elements from pretty much every generation of Mustang in its design. If you don't see that, it's because you don't want to.

Imo one of the worst year/gen you could throw money at. Yes it can drive fast straight in a drag, but I dont want to take an actual real turn with speed and have the rear slide out, take out a school bus full of children, causes WWIII, because live axle.

I can't believe all the horrible comments about this poor guy. Jesus, people really are cold and heartless. The guy didn't see Matt extending his hand to him. About half way through the video he started to get comfortable and was talking and laughing with Matt like a normal car guy would. Damn this thing is nice. Out of curiosity, how come everyone is moving towards the centrifugal s/c instead of a root s/c?
I wonder the samething at times but I see people get more from a centrifugal s/c over a roots ... But the roots seem to make better power throughout the rpms were as the centrifugal loves higher rpms
I think perhaps packaging - they are small and easy to fit, and the technology has come so far there aren't many downsides any more.
I believe its because they are cheaper
Most drag racers tend to still go roots because it makes better low RPM power, but most road racers tend to go centrifugal because they are a lot easier to keep cool, so less heat soak.They also give a linear powerband , just like an NA powerband. Nicer for exiting corners.
For people who don't race but want to install the s/c themselves, the centrifugal is easier to install themselves and easier to remove.
Some people with centri's uninstall their s/c's every 2 years for smog, no one does that with a roots.

Nice car......I have the same car😉 2012 GT same color, same 6spd ,same brembo pkg even same white ball shift knob and same aero force interceptor gauge in the roush ac vent pod😳 scary i think I found my doppelganger! I just have eibach pro kit! And rtr wheels and a bunch of steeda parts! (Steeda cold air with sct 93 race tune) 3" OR x-pipe and GT 500 muffs, bbk 85mm throttle body And have about 500 crank horse for now till she gets paid off then it's ..........procharger time😊
This one is quieter because it has a flutter valve instead of a blow off valve, like the last one had. The car is cool though. Drop it down 3/4" and it would look a whole lot better, and be less floaty.

this car looks very bland. I've seen some nice looking 2012's but something about this one looks boring. I get the power first though. that's the first thing I did with my car too.
The S550 is sexy as fuck but I feel that the S197 was the last mustang to really capture that pure "muscle car" look. Ill be looking into an S550 v6 soon (hopefully), but Ill always respect the S197 stangs.

It's a centrifugal supercharger. Driven by belt, not exhaust gas.

Stock brakes, stock shifter, stock clutch, more power adding the supercharger and even more power come on... He said is for safety about the injectors and fuel but nope he is gonna go for more.
Centrifugal Superchargers disappoint me, they don't make that signature whine. The whine is half the fun of superchargers for me.
