Ford employee? Thank you for still making Mustangs with manual transmissions my 2010 Track Pack GT has a 5-speed and I wouldn't trade it for any slush box automatic in the world
Back when I was too poor to afford it I dreamed of getting a 302 to replace my '07 GT. I was going to retire it as a daily driver last fall and drop some dough on a luxury sedan. Life happens and some things are too precious to put in the back seat of a Mustang. Then, a dark and stormy night coupled with a few deer made me realize I don't need some expensive car to haul people in, but I did need a weekend toy. I took delivery of my competition orange '16 GT350 track package in March and your feelings about the car mimic mine. It is very special and each time I lay down on the throttle reminds that at heart, I'm really just a 6'2" child. I never go a minute in it without smiling. Great video guys, and to those who have the means to get one, you won't be disappointed when you do.
@@jonathanvaresko8386 I'm like you with the toys...don't have them as daily drivers and take them out to enjoy when the time and weather permits. Less wear and tear, mileage, and better resale value. @TheMassdistortion it's an awesome collector car but the bang for buck is terrible performance wise the other three he mentioned beat it by miles in that department.
+scterka I owned a 2011 Mustang GT at the moment. Brembo pack, custom tune, ford racing suspension, borla exhaust, 19x11 and 19x9.5 forgestar staggered wheels with a 305 tire. My car is close to a Boss 302 in performance but it's not a Boss which I can actually now afford. Thing is I am saving my pennies for a GT350 instead, so yup you are one lucky guy!
and how much did the dealer suck you in over sticker. I love fords but this car still cannot keep up to the stinken camaro . I have read all the track reports. Wake up ford and start building larger displacements. I hope this car doesent turn out like their 1986 SVO flop down the road.
how does it run against the corvette. Still a loser. I will sell my boss when FORD makes a real muscle car for the real man. The GT is a dream ,that the average person cant afford and the shelby 350 with 526 HP, unbalanced engine crank is a gamble. I see hundreds of them already on used car sites.WHYS that? I am entitled to my opinion and quit acting like a baby and calling names.
wait another year when they cannot make the car payments ,the used market has alot of gt 350 already on it that are NOT selling. Sure you can put your car up for sale and ask 50000 but if is does not sell and the payment book is still there ,then what. I will buy one ,but I not get sucked in like the dealers do to people, who just GOTTA have it. Fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me.I bought my boss USED ,got a fair deal Still it has downfalls like a cheap chinese transmission ,cheesy radio, recaro, seat cloth cheap. Sorry for the person who bought it new and paid dealer markup ,just like their doing to the gt 350 buyers. I would be embarrassed to admit I paid over sticker for a car. Its just a car a piece of metal The shelby does not have a much better transmission from what I read as I was looking to put one in my boss but I went with the magnum xl. Sometimes FORD just make crap.GOOD LUCK
Exactly. The Boss is to me the sort of hidden gem in the performance car world. Ford went pretty ham to create a heritage Boss car, it is certainty a very special car. Perhaps it is now outpaced due to better technologies but for under 30K the Boss is a great buy.
Personally I tried hard to get a GT350 and they were extremely hard to find. When you did find one it was not an R and it was often $5000 or more over sticker. So I said screw it and bought a 2014 GT500 with 4000 miles. I decided 662hp was good enough for me. ;)
good choice I think you car will be worth big cash down the road. . The resale market will go up on them as years pass. They are not making that mill anymore with that kind of power unless you go to crappy aftermarket stuff.Just like owning a 427 or 428 429 mustang from years past. Big cash cars.
local taxes on the price , is $7000 lefty why Dealer charge you that back then . Usa sticker price excludes taxes didn't you know that or a customer that wants a car for wholesale price
@@jeffortman6395 Good luck and enjoy. She'll be a beast. Price out changing the rear end gears to 3:73. That's the sweet spot and I don't think it's crazy money. In fact I'd do that before any other mod. The response and drivability is off the charts. The Boss came with this gearing but GT's have much taller gearing. You'll feel like you gained 100 hp.
@jeffortman6395 that will make your 5.0 alot better but there is alot more to the boss than a different intake. So much more than that. It also has ported heads and better cams not to mention all the things that are different inside and out and with the suspension.
@@midnight347 the short throw shifter that came standard in my Laguna Seca is a gem too. I shift all my cars and motorcycles nice and easy. I’m not a rammy drag strip kind of shifter and just love this transmission in combination with the Torsten LSD 3:73. The car is something else.
Out of all the GT350 videos I've watch and I've watched absolutely all of them this is the one that made me want to get out there and test drive this car more than any other video I've seen.
+MrToucheTurtle - Thank you! We know this car has received a lot of coverage, so we're very flattered by your comment. Glad to have you with us. Thanks for watching!
I thought the Boss 302 was the best sounding V8 because it revved so high, and then when the GT350 came out, I heard it for the first time, and I had an eargasm. Honestly the most epic sounding car ever. Two amazing cars!
fully independent suspension, flat plane crank 8000rpm V8, vastly superior interior, arguably better looking exterior.... All = GT 350 by a mile. No, TEN miles. Progress baby!!!
Great video! The best line has got to be "It wants to be the life of the party. It walks in, kicks the door open, might have already had a little bit too much to drink. That's the boss mustang." Awesome.
go on the used car sites ,there are many already up for sale . My guess is you can pick one up for less than 45000 from a hard up soul who thought he was buying a supercar, from all the hype. I gotta hand it to ford marketing division.
Do you daily your 302? If so, what are your expenses? Gas per week or days, insurance, maintenance after 60k miles? Or if any dailies their Mustang (V8 manual)?
@@TheMrFlyBoy18 I owned a 2014 GT with the 6 Speed Manual and it was my daily driver, but I was lucky to have a short commute, so in the 2 1/2 years I owned it, I only put 14,000 miles on it
American cars have seriously come a longggg way since 2009 with the ZR1 introduction. Now we have the 17' ZL1/1LE Camaros, the 2016+ GT350s, 2018 Rumored Mach 1 & GT500, Ford GT, Dodge Viper/ZO6 setting crazy records against Europeans. My god, what a wonderful time to see American cars finally catch up -- dare I say, even surpass many Euro cars?
@@KB-bh9hp i couldnt say great things about american market cars reliability. With scheduled maintenance done me and my family have had issues with american branded cars. While id say the best were the asian market cars such as Toyotas, Hondas and Hyundais and european, german more specifically has been decent aswell. Then again it's all mechanical so there's always a level of uncertainty but it hasnt been the best
@@patrickpelletier6315 I'm sorry you're experience hasn't been ideal. I'll admit, some American cars aren't exactly renowned for reliability, especially if we look at the history of these vehicles. I'll also admit some American brands, such as fca, still have a long way to go before being considered a reliable brand. However, I personally think fords from like the mid to late 90s onward, and especially since 2010ish onward, have been very reliable, aside from the few models equipped with dcts.
@@KB-bh9hp shit happens, but funnily enough the one with the most issues was my father's 2010 or 11 (last year they had the 5.4L Triton V8) Ford F150. Heated seat on the driver side and maybe the passenger side i cant recall, mirror and rear window defrost all stopped working. The buttons light up but it does nothing. The whole steering rack had to be changed. And so did the driveshaft. All this within 6 or 7 years but hey, as i said. Shit happens
This past weekend, I turned over 200 miles on my GT350 Tech Pack. You guys have nailed this review...I have Boss and GT500, NO COMPARISON. My wife has ZL1...none of those provide the exhilerating excitement of driving the GT350, It really is simply Delicious...
keep winding it to 8 grand and talk to me in a year or so.Most people who buy these cars will end up driving them to the car hopsfor show if they want to keep them for long.8 grand revs and the nice exhaust sounds only go so far unless you got a pocket full of stupid dough. .Ford does know how to market some people to over pay for a mustang, LOL
@@roccoelefante3926 You sound suPer jealous lady, your literally the ONLY one wineing!! Go drive one with NoW with.. 50..60..k miles just as tight as she was day1 for me
I had goosebumps listening to the exhaust on that GT350 and almost laughed out loud when you said you were only at 5,000 RPM! Bravo this was a great effort... I'll admit I'm a Mustang fan and have owned a SN197 4.6l GT but the new GT and especially that Voodoo engine are on a different scale! keep it up guys!
If you guys haven't been told enough, this is an excellent video! Thank you for all the hard work you put into making all of your content. I'm subscribing!
oh no, my 2 top mustangs i love, i still kind of want to say i like the 302 more but the crazy high RPM voodoo V8 in the GT350 has me, GT350 wins for sure.
This is how I found you Everyday Driver! I test drove a 2017 GT350 and I was mad for information. I'd never thought of consulting TH-cam for information, I was a dyed in the wool automotive mag guy. Wow and then I find this, the podcast, the movies and the TV show? Where had you guys been all my midlife crises?? Thanks for this and sooooo much more1 Such GREAT stuff!
Boss 302 defines what a American muscle car should be, then you have the GT350, basically a Euro/American muscle car. 16:33 The owner has both these cars, the Boss 302 is his favorite.
I'm putting this quote on my Boss 302 when I get it spring 2021... This car is raw and rowdy. This feels old school. It wants to be the life of party. It walks in, kicks the door open, might of already had too much to drink. It's a drunkin party animal, That is the Boss Mustang. Everyday Driver -2016
One of the best car channels on TH-cam! I love your videos from the beginning and your videos now, please keep up the good work and know you guys are supported by lots of fans👍🏼
That's not true, GRIP - Das Motormagazin It's possibly the best, but not British nor American english, it's German! BTW Everyday is JV compared to the top UK presenters. Several of them are racing on a semi-pro level several times a year, as guest drivers for the European manufacturers! And drive classics worth millions of dollars! Of course not living in over there, one will NEVER reach that level.
I bought a 2013 Boss 302 Laguna Seca for 40k and 3,000 miles. There was also a 2018 GT350 sitting there. It was 58k and 6,100 miles. I have a top of the line Boss 302 and it was $18,000 less than the GT350. For those of us that don’t have money to throw out the window, the Boss is a winner in my box for your money. Would I rather have the GT350, yeah. Lol.
You guys are great with dissecting pros and cons from many angles. One issue with the video is ignoring the huge markup most dealers are adding to the GT350. The $15k-$20k markup is a number too hard to ignore.
You guys make absolutely awesome reviews. Super informative, but most importantly, your automotive passions really translate through to the viewer. Great work!
I own boss 302 Kona blue # 778 - first build. 7200 or so miles after all these years. I have ran it on the track and I can tell you that my 60ft and launch as good it gets - with stock tires have once done 0-60 in about 4 sec. It's hard to do but if the pressure is right and tires are good it can be done. I have a friend who did a quarter mile in a BOSS at 11:79 - look it up on you tube. The Boss -- was the car that Ford used to create everything you see now ...:-) And yes the 350 rocks and is better in so many ways. I get it :-)
The magnetic suspension is amazing. I hope you guys have had a chance to drive one since this recording. I Baugh my 2016 GT350 for $81,000.00 OTD. That's with the dealer mark up, license, registration and a very hefty taxes. I initially freaked at the purchase, but every time I drive it, it puts a big smile on my face. People virtually break their necks to take a look at it. I love my !!
Going from a 2012 v6 (3.7) to a 2012 boss soon :) I totally agree with you guys that the boss is the mid-line point between muscle to sports car. The only true muscle car out there these days is the Challenger in my opinion.
These guys are FAR AND AWAY the best assessors of the love of driving. They have an ability to articulate WHY we all like the little engineering goodies. I am looking to purchase a BOSS or a GT350 and really did not know a ton about what the real soul of the two cars is. I know now. Thank you both.
I can definitely see how someone might say the Boss is still their favorite Mustang. It seems like it was the last of the original DNA. When you drove it you could easily say "yeah, this feels like a modern version of my dad's 70 Boss 302" but then the GT350 just ditches all of the DNA and starts fresh and modern. There's nothing wrong with that but for the guys who want a Mustang for the heritage as much as the performance I could easily see the Boss being more enticing. In fact I'm starting to wonder if I might actually like the Boss more than the GT350 haha
+Evan B I drive a Boss 302 and love it. It is and will be my favorite Mustang period. Maybe pass it down to my boy when I am too old to drive it with its heavy clutch. But, I am more than tempted to score a Shelby when the price settles down a bit. I would suspect going over a bump while banking at 100 will push you toward GT350...
+GolfNut 40ftPutt Nice! I currently daily a 99 Camaro SS dropped 2 inches with QA1 shocks set to the stiffest setting. It rides like a damn stock car but I love it. I figure one day I'll really want something a little easier on the bumps but for now I'm just enjoying it haha. Have you ever had a chance to drive a GT350 and compare it to the Boss? I won't lie I've been a Camaro guy my whole life but as soon as the Boss hit the scene I said "I have to own one of those eventually. Even if I end up not liking it I have to own it" I even prefer it over the 1LE Camaro. I love how it's a full model and not just a performance package. I love the way they're so geared towards a real performance enthusiast and not the rich cruiser crowd who just want to load these cars down with frills. Its stripped down, manual-only, adjustable suspension but none of that fancy computerized stuff, and it still has that raw solid rear axle. Its essentially the exact car I've been asking to be built forever haha. I always hated the fact that if I was getting into a performance car I had to just deal with all the bells and whistles that the wealthy cruiser crowd brought to them but with the Boss it was a whole new world. Specifically built the way I wanted it. Then one day I heard a guy drive by in one with the side exhaust uncorked and i was hooked. They're phenomenal cars. The only modern Camaro that could possibly sway me away from one is the Z/28 but they're so expensive that the Boss is just a way more practical choice. I love them
+GolfNut 40ftPutt I think I love it so much cause my first real performance car was an Iroc and the Boss is kind of the pinnacle of cars built along those lines. The stripped down solid rear axle naturally aspirated road race machines that put as much effort into grip and control as they do brute power. Its ironic that an Iroc would make me love this Mustang so much but that's just the way it worked out for me. The Boss was the last hurrah for that old school type of car and after that the live rear axle brawlers took a bow and stepped out. That's a big reason why I want one. Its the climax of that old school brawler type performance car
Great video! I have a Gt500 and I have yet to drive a GT350. Paul, It's great to see you doing these car reviews. I was your classmate at art center at night, in Richard Piestruska's communications one class. I remember you were starting to learn how to draw cars. And you rocked through that trans design program. Congrats! Sanford
Very well done! I love the GT350, and it's cool to see it compared to the Boss 302. As for the rattles in the dash, yeah, it's still a mustang. My 2016 GT does that, too. :( I still love it. If it was in my price range, I would have bought one, but between it's own cost and the ridiculous ADM that most dealers are charging... Anyways, well done guys!
I have to agree with most of you commenters this is a great comparison video. I have seen every video and I mean every video about the GT350 and this one was the best. I own a GT350 base and it is a very well damped car. The mag ride is great but nothing lost with the old fashion gas shock. They aren't going to be making engines like this anymore. Keep up the good work!
i find it hard to believe that Ford built this 5.2 with only the GT350 and GT350R in mind. i expect there to be other cars with it but still to be a rare package.
I own a 2013 Boss 302 and just purchased a 2017 Gt350 with tech pack. This video made me decide to keep the Boss rather than trade it in. It is spot on when you want to scare yourself a little the Boss is the car to drive. When you want to thrash curves with little effort and listen to symphony of win... take the Gt350. Thanks for the honest and on point review!
+EverydayDriver I really like the new format you guys have for the videos. I totally agree, the newest generation of the Mustang is completely bad ass.
i own the 2019 GT350R, and zero regrets. This car is unique in every way, it is not just another "mustang". The engine, transmission, and supsension make it all so perfectly balanced, making it such a fun car to drive. If I never own anything else but this one, my car life would still feel extremely complete.
I prefer the sound of the Boss 302. More, please! :D The Voodoo engine sound is OK. It's not offensive. I just like the cross-plane Coyote sound a lot better.
I randomly stumbled upon this channel but I must say, kudos! Great reviews, very "down to earth" no BS attitude, honestly I don´t see how you don´t have millions of views since this strikes me as a true "car guy" channel. Keep up the good job guys!
13-14 Mustangs had the best body styling since the 69's. I am now the owner of a 3rd 2014, this one black v6 premium with a 6 Speed. My previous 2 14's were a white v6 base 6 Speed and a Black GT premium 6 Speed. Had things worked out how I wanted, I'd still have the GT today
I traded my 2013 Boss in on a 2017 GT350. I loved driving the Boss so much that I couldn't sleep the night before I traded it. But I'm sure glad I did now. After 8 weeks of driving the GT350 I can't think of a car I'd want more that didn't cost at least twice as much.
I know, right? I don’t see any tar snakes. So, it’s definitely not 84, 35, 9, to Santa Cruz, or 1 up to Tomales. 🤔 I want to ride my Ducati where they did that shoot.
Hi Guys, great commentary! Question: How tall are you? You said your knees are almost in the steering wheel? Also, you should introduce yourselves during the opening as it connects us with you in a more personal way. Thanks, James
No regrets, I chose this over the 718 Porsche Boxster (base not S)... and it's just an incredibly fun drive. Very raw, very communicative, and all around a great experience.
Finally,...evaluators that know what they're talking about. Most talk style and features you go much deeper using terms like flat crank and dampers and modulation etc. Few if any testers get very technical and most bag on American vehicles. One man tested an F250 and his video started out calling the truck an F150. He didn't even edit the mistake from the video. All he could talk about was the size of the truck and the price. He really passed over what the vehicle was for and did the truck and its sellers a huge dis-service. You tested the cars and rated then for their intended use and for me really brought them to life. I am a driver of over 30 years experience and believe I want a sports car. I will give the Ford Mustang a very close look. I'll keep ya posted. Well done. Will subscribe 😎.
Great video guys! Unlike a lot of the comments, I see why the Boss vs. base GT350 was a great reflection in the generational changes especially to the chassis. A GT350 w/ magneride would have been so far away from the Boss in terms of feel, even if it had been the Boss Laguna Seca edition. Thanks for this great content and honest feedback.
HOSSMCGILLICUTTI ; I'll happily take him on in any musical idiom; Thank you. Not, Neil Pert per se. I don't "play at the drums". My Dad taught me to swing and follow the vocalist. I, however, appreciate your comments. I really don't see the resemblance, found out tonight, that I'm no longer young. My left hand ? My left hand? I'm not happy with this, but my rhythm is well, starts in the brain. Chops, in any event, aren't the ultimate groove test.
I used to own a 1965 Mustang, back in 1971. I miss it. Those where the nicest Mustangs, in your video. My neighbor had a 1969 Boss 302 and my other neighbor had a 1969 Charger. Where are you? The country is so beautiful!
Im having bad thoughts and you guys aren't helping, i want the gt350 so bad! Never thought anything could pull me off another m3 but....... feel like im losing my religion
Im 5'10" and even I found the seating position awkward on the regular Mustang seats and the clutch. I found it really uncomfortable and while everyone says the interior is "better". I only think the center console dash / electronics look better. I think the rest of the interior looks way better in the 13/14. The black plastic moldings are everywhere. The door vents, around the speakers, tweeters, etc... Even the door unlock switches and door level looks cheaper. Even the GT premium just doesn't feel the same as a fully loaded 13/14. Imo. They should have replaced all of the chrome from the 13/14 with carbon fiber on the 15+.
I'm just wondering if ford is actually planning in replacing their V8s with ecoboost engines. That's gonna be their death sentence. Even Germans know that people will pay to have V8 that's why they still have V8s in their top trims. Hopefully not
Really great work here! Love these well thought out comparisons. Really wish that this type of quality content would be financially rewarding on youtube, but given the production values I fear it is not, which in turn makes me worry about how long you guys are going to be able to continue to produce this stuff. Hope there is a master plan for growing the channel or otherwise making this a bit more lucrative.
Wow. This is one of my favorite reviews! Yes, I'm interested in buying a Mustang, but I really like the angles in this video. I REALLY like the drone shot right before the face-to-face section.
The problem with the GT350 isn't the car. (which is awesome). It's the dealers and trying to mark up the car to ruin it.
yes!! you are correct. I can afford 60k but they want 75k and that's just out of my budget. i guess I'll wait to get a used one

Shouldn't it be the GT314? I mean that 5.2 is no where near 350 cubic inches.... false advertising.
THere'sa 2013 Boss here, 9k miles under 30K Seriously considering getting rid of my SC 09 stroker for it.
Personally I tried hard to get a GT350 and they were extremely hard to find. When you did find one it was not an R and it was often $5000 or more over sticker. So I said screw it and bought a 2014 GT500 with 4000 miles. I decided 662hp was good enough for me. ;)
I was in the same boat as you. Ended up buying a CTS V and an 1998 Cobra. I still wanted a Mustang
good choice I think you car will be worth big cash down the road. . The resale market will go up on them as years pass. They are not making that mill anymore with that kind of power unless you go to crappy aftermarket stuff.Just like owning a 427 or 428 429 mustang from years past. Big cash cars.
CurseTheDawn do you daily your 350?
CurseTheDawn that 2014 is nicer looking than the new 1 anyway
local taxes on the price , is $7000 lefty why Dealer charge you that back then . Usa sticker price excludes taxes didn't you know that or a customer that wants a car for wholesale price
Get a Boss 302 while you can. Prices are going through the roof. It is a gem and people are starting to find out how special and rare they are.
I have a 2014 Mustang GT and I'm just going to get the Boss 302 intake and other upgrades
@@flat6fever680boss came standard w 373 but it was optional on regular gt too back then.
I have a boss 302. Comparing to many cars that have the similar price, I think this car is seriously underrated and deserves more reputation.
+MrToucheTurtle My sentiments exactly. Especially when Paul drops the European snobbery for the feels of the Mustang. Sounds so fantastic.
exactly
I thought the Boss 302 was the best sounding V8 because it revved so high, and then when the GT350 came out, I heard it for the first time, and I had an eargasm. Honestly the most epic sounding car ever. Two amazing cars!
fully independent suspension, flat plane crank 8000rpm V8, vastly superior interior, arguably better looking exterior.... All = GT 350 by a mile. No, TEN miles. Progress baby!!!
^this guy gets it
Oh he gets it all the time, trust me.
Bisofication
You would know, huh Biso? ; )
;)
FORD needs to up their game and switch to aluminium, like they did on light trucks.
The Boss is just so authentic and aggressive. While the GT350 is more sporty and hi-tech.
Great video.
That's a decent summary.
S197 body is a street terrorizer 😮💨
Well done genntlemen. You are the best American auto reporters.
Great video! The best line has got to be "It wants to be the life of the party. It walks in, kicks the door open, might have already had a little bit too much to drink. That's the boss mustang." Awesome.
"This interior feels cheap."
.
.
.
.
"The price is what makes American cars so great."
Lmao. Not only that but I wouldn't give a shit about the interior when I'm driving a car with that kind of power. It's not what its about
Cheap interior is weight savings. You want leather, that’d add weight.🤗 Plus cheap plastics are easier to clean.
I still don’t know why anyone cares about the interior of performance cars. But hell, I also ride liter bikes.
I have a 2012 Boss 302. I love it. But, alas, it is lonely. I need a gt350 to keep it company.
go on the used car sites ,there are many already up for sale . My guess is you can pick one up for less than 45000 from a hard up soul who thought he was buying a supercar, from all the hype. I gotta hand it to ford marketing division.
rocco elefante i dont think anyone thought that smh
Do you daily your 302? If so, what are your expenses? Gas per week or days, insurance, maintenance after 60k miles? Or if any dailies their Mustang (V8 manual)?
I have a 2013 Boss 302. I felt the same way. Just bought a GT350 to keep it company.
My god, what a wonderful time to see American cars finally catch up -- dare I say, even surpass many Euro cars?
i wouldnt say they surpass European cars in the quality department and all that but for the money you get equal if not better performance.
@@patrickpelletier6315 But they do surpass them in terms of reliability. One could say reliability pertains to quality.
That doesnt speak for all of them i know and im not trying to say it does because it can just be shit luck. BUT many electronic devices the truck came with failed.
+russ vanover so you're saying the boss 302 is not nearly as fun as the shelby?
+T Pitty Nah he said that this is an entirely different animal. It's an experience that you won't and can't get in a boss or gt500.
keep winding it to 8 grand and talk to me in a year or so.Most people who buy these cars will end up driving them to the car hopsfor show if they want to keep them for long.8 grand revs and the nice exhaust sounds only go so far unless you got a pocket full of stupid dough. .Ford does know how to market some people to over pay for a mustang, LOL
Seems like Ford is really rocking it with the GT350 and Focus RS!!
psychofunksoldier02 thank you!
If you guys haven't been told enough, this is an excellent video! Thank you for all the hard work you put into making all of your content. I'm subscribing!
+Evil Tom - Thanks, Glad to have you with us!
I LOVE THIS INTRO! The music and narration is perfect, and it really encapsulates the passion you guys have.
2012 Boss 302 0-60: 3.93 Seconds
Not a fair comparison, but still fun. I actually like both basic dashes/consoles versus today's video screens. The GT350 is an animal.
GT350 is da 🐐
oh no, my 2 top mustangs i love, i still kind of want to say i like the 302 more but the crazy high RPM voodoo V8 in the GT350 has me, GT350 wins for sure.
I wonder what the Mustang haters gonna say now? lol. I mean you really have to go out of your way to not like the GT350 and find a fault.
+DJ MotoVlogs Probably that cars like the z01, SRT Viper and C7 Z06 are better cars in every way.
+phas3d until the ford gt comes and eat them all
+phas3d really? Better in every way? Is there proof or is this just bias/opinion?
+Julio Romeresto definitely opinion. loo
@@phas3d you mean the car that feels like you're driving a garbage truck and the car with too much horsepower for its own good?
Boss 302 defines what a American muscle car should be, then you have the
GT350, basically a Euro/American muscle car. 16:33 The owner has both these cars, the Boss 302 is his favorite.
GT350 is the best sounding car I may have ever heard next to the Jag F-Type.
f type doesnt rev as high or as lively, this sounds much better imo
Colds yes the GT350 is probably better.
james hawkins LFA imo too has an epic sound track but yes this is gooood!
yeah for triple money for a LFA cant compare to 350r for 60,000$.
james hawkins nah jag sounds like shit !!
aand the gt350r exhaust sound cant be compared to the jag !!
This is great work. I've never been a Mustang guy, but that Shelby is enough to make me a believer.
I love ford and I am excited they are really making moves man
Pete Flynn just wait till the next gt500 comes out & everyone starts trading in these
Now the question is once you modd the boss will the comparison be more in the boss favor?
The boss has a lot more of room for improvement.
I'm putting this quote on my Boss 302 when I get it spring 2021...
This car is raw and rowdy. This feels old school. It wants to be the life of party. It walks in, kicks the door open, might of already had too much to drink. It's a drunkin party animal, That is the Boss Mustang.
Everyday Driver -2016
my mustang is best mustang ...
-- Mr Regular
I can't wait for the RS line! American cars kick ass these days, what a time to be alive.
"might have already had too much to drink"
you guys are awesome with your analogies
I bought a gt350 after owning hellcats. Its one of the greatest cars ever made!
Well you cant compare tech (gt350) to oldschool (hemi) ofc new school is better
I could never get into the new body style of Mustang. I have the same body as the Boss and it is by far my favorite of the newer Mustangs.
Agreed, I just bought my 3rd 2014 yesterday, v6 premium, black with 6 Speed
Garbage
One of the best car channels on TH-cam! I love your videos from the beginning and your videos now, please keep up the good work and know you guys are supported by lots of fans👍🏼
You're the best non-British car channel, period
This is amazing, but try Fast Lane Daily.
That's not true,
GRIP - Das Motormagazin
It's possibly the best, but not British nor American english, it's German! BTW Everyday is JV compared to the top UK presenters. Several of them are racing on a semi-pro level several times a year, as guest drivers for the European manufacturers! And drive classics worth millions of dollars! Of course not living in over there, one will NEVER reach that level.
Very impressed with how far you guys have come, very informative and entertaining reviews for both non-car people and enthusiasts!
Nice vid with very honest non-biased commentary.
The cars exhaust sound at high RPMs is awesome. Thank you for paying attention to the sound!
Lol.
Do you still feel that way? I see Boss values in Canada rocketing in last year. Mine draws a crowd every time I'm out. ( Not often)
You guys are great with dissecting pros and cons from many angles. One issue with the video is ignoring the huge markup most dealers are adding to the GT350. The $15k-$20k markup is a number too hard to ignore.
Great video. Looking forward to more content from you guys especially comparisons like this. Keep it up.
You guys make absolutely awesome reviews. Super informative, but most importantly, your automotive passions really translate through to the viewer. Great work!
7 years later can I can see how the price went from $40-50 to to low 40s…. Now back up to 60-70s
Amazing review! First time also that made me wanna lust for a mustang. Thanks guys! - M4 and C7 owner.
I was searching for a video that compares the two generations and I randomly found this. great video. it's on par with channels like drive.
You guys have become one of my favorites!
I get it :-)
This is really informitive and everything they say is accurate, im subscribing!
+Evan B
I drive a Boss 302 and love it.
I've subscribed to and watched the show for years and had no idea you guys had a podcast...subbing right away.
I have driven it (GT350), and agree with everything you say. It's an amazing car.
Best gt350 video on TH-cam guys, grats. Felt like a 'real life' experience of the two cars.
That Chewbacca comment made my day!
+kelly hatcher We are guessing it has to do with the base model head unit.
sk8erord dash rattles? I haven't any in my 16,you may want to take that to the dealer.
Thanks for the honest and on point review!
how do you dislike this video wow that was by far the best video I've watched on TH-cam regarding any Ford product.
I love you guys (sniff). Been around since your early days when you had 15k subs. ☺
+JCTiggs - That's a long time. - A huge thanks for being with us!

Charlie G Yeah! They definitely deserve more subs! Keep up the great work guys! 😊
+EverydayDriver I really like the new format you guys have for the videos. I totally agree, the newest generation of the Mustang is completely bad ass.
350 is better in every single way. And I would buy the boss every single time. Has a rawness that the 350 can’t match.
i own the 2019 GT350R, and zero regrets. This car is unique in every way, it is not just another "mustang". The engine, transmission, and supsension make it all so perfectly balanced, making it such a fun car to drive. If I never own anything else but this one, my car life would still feel extremely complete.
I prefer the sound of the Boss 302. More, please! :D
The Voodoo engine sound is OK. It's not offensive. I just like the cross-plane Coyote sound a lot better.
You're insane!!!!!
You are smoking something the GT350 Is legit one of the best sounding cars out there
As a ls loving Camaro guy, the voodoo noise by itself is making me become a Stang guy
I randomly stumbled upon this channel but I must say, kudos! Great reviews, very "down to earth" no BS attitude, honestly I don´t see how you don´t have millions of views since this strikes me as a true "car guy" channel. Keep up the good job guys!
Thank you very much - we're thrilled you found us and like our work!
I prefer the look of the 12 and 13 Boss, jmo.
After 8 weeks of driving the GT350 I can't think of a car I'd want more that didn't cost at least twice as much.
what road is that in the bay area?

Hi Guys, great commentary! Question: How tall are you? You said your knees are almost in the steering wheel? Also, you should introduce yourselves during the opening as it connects us with you in a more personal way. Thanks, James
Both the guys are 6'3", but Todd has a longer torso than Paul so they always fit cars differently. Thanks for watching!
I know one thing is that your awesome intro got you a new sub. Great video aswell.
No regrets, I chose this over the 718 Porsche Boxster (base not S)... and it's just an incredibly fun drive. Very raw, very communicative, and all around a great experience.
My Mustang is best Mustang.
Well done. Will subscribe 😎.
it makes me sad that you have less subscribers than tjhunt. you guys do some great work

Awesome work guys, great comparison. I have my GT 350 on order, cant wait !
Will you do the new ZL1 and Z28?
I've watched this several times over the years. I have a 19 GT350. I've had 08 GT500. Those cars are so different. The 350 is heaven!
Boss 302s are my favorite cars
I could listen to and drive both of these cars all day long with a smile on my face.
Great job! The gt350 is the reason why I'm gonna learn how to drive stick
I hope u didn’t learn how to drive stock *ON* a 350…
Great video guys!
The long haired guy looks and sounds just like Neil Peart did in the 90's. I wonder if he plays drums.
Play at drums, maybe.
Johnnyc drums So did you see the resemblance.
I am a Porsche and Mustang GT driver...and I must say, I love my Stang! GT350? Even better! good review!
Such a good review , like alwayes.
Never thought anything could pull me off another m3 but....... feel like im losing my religion
j c which m3 you lookin to buy?
Hopefully not
Why not a ecoboost v8
Really great work here! Love these well thought out comparisons. Really wish that this type of quality content would be financially rewarding on youtube, but given the production values I fear it is not, which in turn makes me worry about how long you guys are going to be able to continue to produce this stuff. Hope there is a master plan for growing the channel or otherwise making this a bit more lucrative.
Missing the 2003 cobra.
Wow. This is one of my favorite reviews! Yes, I'm interested in buying a Mustang, but I really like the angles in this video. I REALLY like the drone shot right before the face-to-face section.
