Nice work Alberto! Appreciate your time and effort in producing these videos for us.
Tip: Instead of welding, use aluminum or teflon spacer cut to proper width to keep sensor away from camshaft. Drill 2 holes and thread them to attach bung to cylinder head with bolts and a proper paper/rubber gasket. Seal around bung inside the head to prevent any oil from leaking through bung hole to outside of head.

@@HAHAHHA97 VVTI GEs had weaker rods and pistons, just swap them out for GTE rods and pistons and you'll be good. There are other things to take into consideration (turbo drain/feed etc) as more people get interested in NA-T conversons there are better. Aftermarket products being developed for example, a few persons have developed adapters that would allow you to use an OEM GTE intake manifold on a GE.

Where do you buy the cas plate?

great tutorial man i have a question. i bought the BC 264 cams. and they have those tabs but im experiencing two problems. on the intake side when the cam is on the timing mark the tab for that sensor is aiming straight down and so i have no idea how to go about that.
Secondly it looks like on my cams is a bit further towards the middle of the head and theres even more obstruction in the casting and its closer to a bolt for the intake manifold so im worried that it will obstruct the bolt or possibly actually hit it.
Now on the exhaust side it looks like it would line up properly but im concerned about it getting really hot and melting being so close to the turbo manifold. do you think its doable on the exhaust side ?

did you come up with a solution to this problem yet?

@@Cpshi.u Ohh it was a confused situation. i had the 2jzGE bc 264 cams. and at the time i assumed even the GE cams would have the tabs for the cam sensor. And it looked liek they did but really it wasnt the correct ones.
thankfully though i was able to sell them for close to what i paid for them considering they were never installed just brand new in box.
then i ordered the GTE cams and they had the very obvious tab in the same location.

Can this work with a Vvti motor

How do you tune this. With a 36-2 vs the 12 tooth gte crank trigger. I have always thought of changing my gte crank trigger to the 36-2 vvti trigger for better resolution.
