Do u live in ca
Nice vídeo Buy how you do yo maintain workingn the electric Fuel pump??
It just worked for me. I didn’t have to modify anything!
What about the oil pressure switch
@@davidhill5181 Same thing, it just worked for me, didn’t have too mess with anything
What wires did u splice into to the distributor?
I used the red and white wires from the old ignition coil. The red wire is power and the white wire is the tach signal.
What about your purple wire for fuel
Which purple wire? I didn’t have to do anything for fuel, the only purple wire I messed with was the one that went into the old distributor, I tied it into my tachometer test lead so it will get a RPM signal to the computer so the transmission shifts.
@@nickconnors8515 are you running the 4l60(e) ? And wat else did you do other than that to keep running that transmission with the carb set up ?
@@dhamhan Yes I am! All I had to do was buy a throttle position sensor kit for the carburetor, and there was a 4 pin connector that went to the ignition control module on the TBI distributor. I took the purple wire and connected it to my white tachometer test lead so the computer would have a rpm signal. That was all, apparently all a 4l60e needs to shift is a RPM signal, throttle position sensor voltage, vehicle speed. The vehicle speed is in the rear of transmission and should be set because when you carburetor swap nothing should be changed about the vehicle speed sensor.
@@nickconnors8515 lol man thanks fr
correct, the purple wire with a white stripe. If you take the "tach" wire coming out from the H.E.I. distributor and wire it to the purple wire it will keep your fuel pump on as long as your engine is running! or else your fuel pump will only prime the initial few seconds.
Yo can you walk me through it
Got a whole playlist that should hopefully help! Happy swapping.
Where's parts 1-2?

I found them I'm an idiot thanks much appreciated
got question for you ....i just rebuild my chevy 350 1990 k5 blazer i converted it over from tbi to carb ..i did a few up grade on the engine high performance intake headers 3' pipes all way back up graded the cam to a howard rattler cam 525 intake lift 535 exhaust duration 227/235 lobe separation 109 center line 103 i still the same factory heads on there i believe they the swirl port heads ..i no i should have went with some better heads but the engine was already done. i put a brand new 1406 edelbrock carb on it right out the box every sence i put that carb on there i been using alot of fuel i set the carb best as posible ..im using a awful lot of fuel just with it iding..i have my pressure regulator set at 5psi..dont no why im losing so mush fuel
Is it just dumping fuel in? Or just getting poor mileage?
