Alas no - this video is one we did a few weeks back - i was waiting till we had stock of these back in stock before posting the video - but as soon as i posted the video the 10 we had in stock sold ! so its now on back order again !
Can you shut the door with the table fitted? Looks tight on mine. Underfloor storage will be better but not sure how much space is under there once the tool kit is removed.
I’ve got a 24 Model Year 90 that the seat cushions lift on hinges & fold forward on so you have that flat floor but…. I can’t believe, this is new & the earlier models, you have to lift the whole seat cushion up from its fixings?
That boot floor looks very similar to the boot floor in the Freelander 2, a fibreglass honeycomb structure, so very light and very stiff and strong for it's weight.
Off topic from this video but what differences are there between the small and large screen in the defender (apart from size) is there any different functionalities ?
May I add that on a Land Rover Discovery 3 and 4, all rear seats fold flat and makes a perfect loading space. Click, click, and they are up again, ready for people to sit in them. Sometimes, Land Rover seems to go 20+ years backwards. Seriously, the old Discovery solution was FAR better. And looked better too. Kind regards.
Hi Simon….. with the installation of the new boot lever system to the defender 90…… you now have to lift the washing machine an extra 100mm to get it in the back of the vehicle??? One step forward and two steps back!!! Regards Ian 👨🎤🇳🇿👍🍸🍸
I got one from ebay quite a few weeks ago when nobody seemed to have them, honestly I'm in two minds as it's made the shopping harder to fit in due to the slope of the back seats and raising of the base, and it's not quite deep enough to store some of the things I've been carrying in one of those folding branded bags.
I understand why the defender 130 3rd row seats are higher but why couldn’t they have folded flat into the floor and come up and back as you fold them out for use.
The new space really needs some dividers in it to stop stuff sliding around when you are offroad or driving your V8 90 like a racing car……… does anyone actually use their 240v socket in the boot?
This is a standard in the DEF130 2024 year model. I’m still looking for a solution to maintain a straight cargo bed when all rear seats are folded down.
solutions to problems that shouldn’t exist. I don’t want to sound like a shouty internet guy, but why the defender is so much worse in the boot than the epic Disco 3/4 is beyond me. I can’t afford a Defender to replace my D3 but if I could I’d probably go to the Toyota LandCruser just because the rear of the defender is so compromised in design.
@@robholland1937 it’s more that the seats don’t fold flat (not sure about the 110) and the rear aperture is quite a bit smaller. I’m not sure a pallet can co in the back of a defender but it can in a disco.
I think that is quite poor as a solution myself, the JLR version that is, but as a 110 owner, it doesn't affect me, however, something that affects all us Defender owners that tow caravans is the mirror situation, have you got a solution for that yet Simon, get them 3D printers on that please.
Hi we sell the DEFENDER3D tow mirror mounts www.powerfuluk.com/products/towing-mirror-clamp-kit-for-land-rover-defender-l663?_pos=1&_psq=tow+mirror&_ss=e&_v=1.0
Great video, but Land Rovers answer useless, looks ugly and dos not fit well. But your idea looks better and more practical, looking forward to seeing it, keep up all the good work please, regards Chris
@L663 The (new) Defender is good looking and a great drive, however, the practicality and interior seat design/configuration is nowhere near as good as the Discovery 3 and 4, not to mention the discovery 5's middle row being designed too low (simply to enable electric folding function). I've driven all, had/have the discoveries and it's the 4 I'd always choose if I had to have just one car to do everything well. A big but though.....It's a great shame that the BMW 3.0 diesel didn't makes its way into the Discoveries!
All that looks particularly half designed and cheaply built. Not your stuff, but Land Rover original equipment and seats. Oh dear! Dacia probably put more thought into it and are almost certainly as well built. At least none of this is British built.
I admire your commitment to getting every accessory that ever existed. I admire the enthusiasm.
I'm so jealous - I want a Defender90 so bad. I have been watching your videos for so many years and they have been so helpful with my Evoque.
Glad yours arrived, been waiting similar time for mine , still no t heard anything from my dealer 🙄
At least my seats do fold flat 😊
The lovely Destiny is still there!

Been looking for this (or your solution) for months. Let me know when back in stock or when your solution is available. Love this shop!
I like your solution for the flat floor. Please let me know when it comes available. Thanks Scott
Lovet he HSX false floor, way better than the JLR solution. Will the HSX fit my 21MY vehicle and if so how much and when available please?
What are the mint green fasteners? Called Are spares available on the website. Thanks Scott
Found them
LR120628 about £6 each - do you think i should add them to the website ?
Can you look into adding 3rd jump seat in front row conversion?
Look forward to seeing your solution. Do you have any plans for the jack tray under the floor?

A wood floor would be amazing Simon please do it. I’d order that for my 90.

No different in function but there is also better contrast ratio on the large screen as it uses a better technology.

Agreed - the Disco 4 is almost the perfect car - other than that (expletive deleted) electronuc dip-stick.
I suggested you made one of these years ago😂!
But, how do you get to the Jack and wheel brace now it’s buried under the box?
Yes good point - that now becomes a whole new adventure !

Yes i see your point - you are just creating a smaller triangle !
I understand why the defender 130 3rd row seats are higher but why couldn’t they have folded flat into the floor and come up and back as you fold them out for use.
The seating design is not great on all models - the 110 is perhaps the best !
The new space really needs some dividers in it to stop stuff sliding around when you are offroad or driving your V8 90 like a racing car……… does anyone actually use their 240v socket in the boot?
All new ones now come with this tray on the build sheet. If it’s missing you’ve been fiddled 😊😂
We cannot get enough of these from Land Rover to keep up with demand - I guess they are being allocated to new builds.

The seat base on the 2024 hinges up now - is this not then flat with the raised section of the floor ?
@@L663 Unfortunately, neither the second nor the third row seats fold completely flat
Christ. Whoever signed off that MY as production ready has mugged us all off.
When you compare it to a Honda Jazz it is not very good !

The 110 seats are much better. The 90 seats should be better as space is at a premium. !

Problems completely solved by Citroen C3 Picasso engineering.

I think a 5yr old kid could design the interior better the all those highly paid designers at land rover
