Thanks, Duane - a great song written by bassist John Deacon.. the band did two shows in Montreal, and b/c it was supposed to be filmed for later release, the production company asked the band to wear the same clothes on both nights, and also instructed the audience to "not respond"... well, Freddie was having none of that, so he deliberately made the most outrageous costume change he could think of.. and also encouraged the audience involvement.. and who could resist??? Still, this has been made into a recently-released IMAX film.. unfortunately, so far it's very limited in its distribution.. can't see it near me.. hoping it will come around soon!
This was not part of a tour. They were asked to perform for 2 nights so that it could be filmed. The film company wanted them to wear the same clothes both nights so they could take songs from either night. The problem was the film company asked everyone to stay in their seats and not sing. The band found out and got very upset. That is why Freddie had just the shorts and hat on the 2nd night.

This popular song was written by Queen bassist John Deacon, inspired by Chic’s “Good Times” & spending time in Chic’s recording studio. Michael Jackson loved the song encouraging Queen to release it as a single! MJ would attend Queen’s concerts when in town! Freddie said they finally met when they went to dinner after one of their shows. MJ became a huge fan of Freddie! They did 3 demos together recorded at Michael’s home studio!
