Hi Nik - Plasticity is a great program! But it lacks a few things: 1 - The solid mesh view is toggled on and off with a single keystroke. (Very important!), 2 - Cooperation with 3D SPACE MOUSE, 3 - The view cube should be bigger and not so small (e.g. with 4K Monitors) there may be a choice in the settings (small, medium and large), 4 - if you select any model in the main view (solid, plane or line), it is not selected on the left side of the model list (the opposite can be done, but you have to look for it). These are the 4 most important changes needed in this great program....there are still more things to change but these are the most important. if this is changed it will be the #1 CAD program in the world like Sketchup, Spark Design or Blender. Kind regards from Austria.

this is great in sketch mode... but being able to update the dimensions of a 3d object as other parametric tools do like fusion360 would be a big improvement, unless the sketch controlls the 3d object dimensions. As of right now as much as I want to use this, I need to be able to work to measurements so im still on fusion 360.
Its not as important for concept modeling, but for some of us doing game assets for VR, or even 3d printing, its a make or break point.

For the multi-faceted radial objects(triangle/pentagon/hexagon/etc), it would be *very* powerful if you could set their sizes by a measured edge length or apply them across two existing edge vertexs via their own edge vertexs. I'm not sure what the current workflow is to properly pin and size 1 edge of a pentagon to the edge of any square, much less a cube arbitrarily rotated in space! Because we can't place them by 2 vertex points, nor define them by the needed edge lengths to manually snap them in later.. I think the only way that makes sense at this time is radial copy an edge of the square and manually assemble a pentagon off of that and..we'd have to already know the correct point in space to rotate those around to assemble that even.
Another thing that myself and others suffer from, is if the workspace is set to MM, any exports result in models that require 1000x scale-up. I'm aware this has to do with plasticity exporting those as Meter being the local units and MM get turned into a smaller value, is there a way to allow us to set MM as the whole unit being exported? Anyone making small 3D models is going to realistically be using MM most likely, but they won't export at MM scale!(as seen by all slicing softwares at least) The only way to work around this is treat MM as M, which gets confusing at times, or manually scale up 1000x before export. Neither seems ideal.
Also on win7, your set backup-path explorer dialog pop-up doesn't seem to function correctly, the only way for me to set it is manually copy-paste a full path into that field and hit enter, FYI. The dialog pops up, then hides itself, I can still bring it back to the front, but clicking a folder doesn't set the path, it just closes out of preferences and doesn't save what was set, almost the same as when I copied the path and clicked outside the box, I had to hit enter before it stayed set.

    Nick, I have a request:
I would like to be able to inverse the middle button zoom direction when navigating in Plasticity.
It's super annoying not be able to change this setting because all my other programs are set with the same behavior and unless it's possible to change it I cannot find the way, could you help me with this please?

Should I wait for Plasticity 2.0? the price explicitly says 99$ for version 1 , then for v2.0+ not sure what the upgrade price is ? or will I need to buy it again?

Would love to try this as measurements was one of the things I was really looking forward to. Is it possible to upgrade a free trial? I'm part way through my trial on 1.0.1

I plan to buy it at end of May but I can't find an update button for the free version. Do I have to re-input my name with the same email address in the register form to get the update?

@@ck_3207 I'm trialing the same as you. I went to the website and downloaded the new version. Run the installer and, because I already have v1.0.1, it seems to update rather than instal from scratch. Really quick! New version is awesome by the way.

Someone said update through Discord but as expected nothing returns when searching discord for Plasticty. It should not be this hard to update a program. Can anyone please help provide a link to update the home version without going to the github area where there are dozens of oddly named files to who knows what?
