If I was doing a mATX build this would probably be in it, especially with the fully digital VRM. Thanks for taking the time to make this video for us Mike and Kath :-)
it does tick a lot of boxes, i think that it is also quite close in terms of price to the asrock pro4 range at times which then opens another can of worms
B450M PRO-VDH MAX is way better for roughly the same price. it has better VRM and SATA connectors placement isn't stupid like on B450M DS3H (V2) - any usual non-1-fan GPU will block 1 or even 2 SATA ports on these Gigabyte boards.

The biggest drawback of this MB is you cannot practically use 2 graphics cards as the primary card with a medium built will easily mask all the slots below it. 😒 . This is my experience. And forgot to mention the SATA port which is located straight side to the PCI X slot is also unusable for the same reason stated above.

Hello. I got a question i want to upgrade my pc and i have this specific motherboard can this motherboard support ryzen 5 7500F and a 4060 or should i buy a different motherboard for that.
Great I just upgrade frmom the x370m-DS3H because I have brought a 4K screen for my 2200G linux rig issue is he 300 chipsets are on 1440p@60 or 4K@30 max. So cureently I am stuck at 4K@30. The R3 2200G can support 60hz but it can't on the old Motherboard. So I have ordered this board on friday Via cheap snail mail should be here on wednesday. It is a great base spec and down the line I can drop a 5700G once the prices are within reach. I run Fedora Linux which is amazingly good for Linux due to most of it chipset being Open due to AMD's Opensource projects. Under £45 great price for a HDMI 2 upgrade before factoring the other updates on the 400 chip set. Hopefully my 2200G some drop right in.

Hello my bro, I was wondering if I should still get this mobo, or just stick to msi's B450M pro-vdh max, or that asrock b450m pro4, with a second hand r5 3600 in mind, and has plans to upgrade to r5 5600, and 3200mhz 8x2 ram (currently 2400mhz) in the distant future.
The main consideration is the longevity of the motherboard where I iust want a long lasting board, for reference I also used gigabyte b250m-d3h mobo since 2017 until blows and retired recent early july 2024, and also another one from my future upgrades where i just want to be plug and play and such.
Which mobo should I go for my bro, this mobo in your vid, gigabyt and asrock one is having the same price as in my country (philippines), thank you for this video really...
