Yeah, I know right, me too! I remember how those manuals were essential for the mobo jumper setting and such. If I lost it, I was Sol.. also, those driver disks, if you didn't have them, you couldn't even get a lot of stuff running on your mobo.. ahh, the days..
Thank you for the video, good stuff! Was looking to upgrade my kid's computer and this is the mobo I wanted to know more about. Careful touching motherboard box to your shirt, quite loud since you have a nice mic. Love the humor: "I don't know, this is what I got man" warrants a "ha!" from me. I'd kindly suggest running your audio track through "Adobe Podcast" which is free, does wonders for talking videos. Maybe add some b-roll, example: when mentioning the two ram slots, cut to an image of the ram slots.
Hi there! Sorry about the Mic incident :P I will look into Adobe podcast and see if it will help me. Also the tips on the ram slot close up cut. I might have rushed it a bit since i was time limited this week with the real life job. Thanks for watching and commenting I appreciate it :)

Good video, love that channel i just found and subbed. B450 is a stable platform and Ryzen 5000 is super cheap. I love the 5500/5600g for energy efficiency and built several entry level gaming PCs with b450 chipset for friends. Ryzen 5500 is 80-90, the 5600 is about 100 Euro. I usually test VRM temps carefully as this is the weak spot of many boards. If you play with Ryzen PPT, with say 5-10% less performance you can gain a lot cooler vrms. But you dont need that for 5500 and 5600g cpus.
@sheldonkupa9120 Good info on the vrms ty. Ty for the sub! I plan on testing this board vs my b550 for a number of tests. I have a 5600g and it's great!
Hi there. AMD recommends a 500w power supply for the 5600g. You should go online and search for power supply calculator and plug in all your peripherals dvd rom etc. You might get by on a 350w ps but I personally wouldn't. And you won't be able to add an additional graphics card of any substantial power later without upgrading that psu.
Hi there. The motherboard cpu support list shows the 5800x3d as supported so one would assume that the 5700x3d is as well. Just make sure you have updated to the latest bios.
Hi there. Well it would depend on what resolution you play your games at. If 1080p then perhaps this combo will last for 3 years. But if you play at 1440p you will need an upgraded video card.
@djkunstoppable5344 Hi there! Yeah this motherboard will run fine with a 1660 super and the 5600x. Keep in mind though it only has PCI-Express 3.0 x16 interface. But that 1660 super does as well so there should be no bottleneck. But if you go to a pcie 4.0 gpu later it will.
The main concern with that GPU is that it only uses 8 PCIe lanes instead of the full 16. If you max out the 8GB of VRAM on that card, it’s gonna turn into an unplayable mess real fast as it won’t be able to swap things between system memory and VRAM fast enough over that anemic PCIe 3.0 x8 bandwidth. It should be fine if you keep it under the 8GB limit. Source: I had a 6600 XT with the same problem.
Hi there. I literally just got this motherboard new 2 weeks ago. So as far as bios setting perhaps update your bios then set the bios settings to default if not already and see if that helps. Your NVME could be dead. Can you test it in another system to verify?
@JoelJanAbangan Hi there. 4.03 Supports AMD AM4 Socket Ryzen™ 2000, 3000, 4000 G-Series, 5000 and 5000 G-Series Desktop Processors 2 DIMMs, Supports DDR4 3200+(OC)* I haven't been able to test it yet but I saw in the Bios 3200mhz and perhaps higher for oc. As far as 5600gt I don't know for sure as it isn't listed specifically.
@JoelJanAbangan Should be able to get a min of 3200mhz. I'm not home to check my mobo but from the manufacturer website it states 3200 plus oc. So fingers crossed it should be OK.:)
It's funny how they still include a full manual and CD. Every time I unbox an Asrock it brings back memories, it's almost nostalgic.

Good pair. Lets see how they compare with others!
Mostly got it for older cpu compatibility testing. Also I plan to test cpus pcie 3 vs 4 platforms ...
What are the measurements trying to find out for my case
Hello Jason, that's a good MB., for the price.
I bought this Yesterday Brand new for $41 dollars (₹3499 INR ) will be Using a Rzyen 5 5500 with RTX 3050 6GB OC with Cooler Master MWE 450 W
@@cyberbhayHi there! That's a great price and nice setup you have now! Grats! $41 for this new is pretty awesome.
Ryzen 7 5700G
Should I buy this processor for this motherboard?
My power supply is only 350 w

@@RememberThisTech very nice and clean explanation! 👍

Hi there. The motherboard cpu support list shows the 5800x3d as supported so one would assume that the 5700x3d is as well. Just make sure you have updated to the latest bios.
Will it be good with ryzen 7 5700x with rtx 3060ti?
@Nl-xu9gv hi there. The Asrock website list that cpu as supported and the 3060ti will work with it.
hey man can i ask what bios was pre installed with it?
@asmodeus9314 Hi there. I will check but won't be able to for 6 days or more :(
I’m just thinking buy this one for my 5600x assembled with a 1650 super, maybe a good option for almost 3-4 years
Hi there. Well it would depend on what resolution you play your games at. If 1080p then perhaps this combo will last for 3 years. But if you play at 1440p you will need an upgraded video card.
The 1650 Super is a bit weak though, i would recommend to go R5 5500 and a better GPU
Nah man
Get a 5500 and a used rx 5700xt
Or maybe get a good deal on a used r5 3600 and an rtx 2060/2060s
Hi sir, do you think it's good when build it with Ryzen 5 5600x + 1660 Super (ram bus 3200)?

I like the Asus Prime b450 mk2 more, its 50 Euro in Europe on Amazon.
@sheldonkupa9120 awesome I'll have to check that board out ty!
Do you think this GPU will work with it ( XFX Speedster SWFT 210 Radeon RX 6600 )
Hi there. Yes it will work fine with it. The motherboard does only have pcie 3 and the 6600 has 4.0 but it shouldn't bottleneck it much if at all.
The main concern with that GPU is that it only uses 8 PCIe lanes instead of the full 16. will this board support a RYZEN 5 4500 cpu ?
@StomerMadGermzOfficial yes it will. In fact I even showed my ryzen 4500 at the end of this video.

Does it support windows 11 and 3600mzh ram
Hi it supports Windows 11 "if your CPU is on the windows 11 supported list" It also supports up to ddr 4 3200mhz.
I have C3030 m.2 Nvme after 2 years just doestn get recognized on BIOS. What settings on BIOS you would recomend?
Hi there. I literally just got this motherboard new 2 weeks ago. So as far as bios setting perhaps update your bios then set the bios settings to default if not already and see if that helps. Your NVME could be dead. Can you test it in another system to verify?
The NVME you have is supposed to have a supports a 5-Year Limited Warranty or TBW. If you find it's dead you can perhaps RMA it for a replacement.
