Perfect choice on the paint. I've used that myself. That wire wheel is going to grab those wool-like fabric gloves and pull your hand and fingers right into the bristles. Switch to some leather gloves for wire wheel work.
Greet job. I’m going to restore a metal bandsaw soon and will definitely use the green hammered paint. It has been sitting outside for 45 years. By the way. When you hammer in a bearing, never use the inner race as the face that will receive the blow. Always the outer race.

Great job. Love the hammered paint. Was wondering if you made it slightly thinner and did 2-3 coats would it take more abuse. Did you add an "on and off" label or plates?
It's rare to see someone rewind the stator in restoration videos. I rewind them for a living and most people just avoid it like it's taboo to even think about touching it inside.
I seriously doubt that he rewound that himself. I too have worked in or around motor shops my whole life. Shops here won’t rewind fractional HP motors anymore. Just not worth it. He has skills so I guess it’s possible.
I think your comment is valid and probably a good thing. Rewinding a motor is beyond the scope of most home restorers and unless it’s a very special motor it isn’t financially viable to get it done. Most people also realise that doing it wrong on a mains voltage motor could end up with potentially deadly results.
So...first off, I thought it was a cordless polisher. Nope. Then you can remove the end. Wrench, heat, etc. No go. You send it to its room overnight. Boom. It comes apart. What sorcery is that! I am joking! Love it and an excellent job, as usual. No spiders this time, just lady bugs.
You have some serious machinery in your shop. That balancer is awesome. You seem to have the finest file system as well. But why does your drill press sound funky and the stand is so rusty? Looks like mine before I cleaned it up
You go to all that effort to get the name plate off and bore down the top rivet so you wont disfigure the plate and then you pry it out of the bottom rivet instead of grinding it all the way down and tear up the name plate and tear apart the edge of the lower rivet hole. Good job... SMH 🤦🏼♂️
Thank you for watching. Don't forget to ''Subscribe''
Hello, I'm part of those people who like to see those electrical machine running at the end of the video ! #restoreforlife #Thanx
I will use this machine in the next videos.
*_Like it, you did a perfect restoration_*

Thank you for your suggestion.
100% agree.
Safety first. Good lookin out Flash Gordon 👍👍
In all fairness you shouldn't wear gloves at all while using any grinder, without gloves you'll only have a cut or burn.
Bir çalıştırıp test yapsaydın tam olacaktı
Ellerine sağlık👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Did anyone else get the Nutella ad while watching this. 😂 Great restoration.
Red Wing is well respected grinder similar to Baldor. It is widely used for dental work. Excellent polishing/grinding machines.
nice video
Beatiful 👍
That old polishing machine was probably state of the art when fIrst built.
Kardeşim müthiş işler çıkartıyorsun özellikle kpss füzesi süperdi. 😂🤣 👍

I really enjoy that Hammerite paint.
The color is spot on !!! Excellent work!!!
thanks
Awesome restoration! I’ve always liked that blue/green color for some reason.
Thank you. I have plenty of blue and green paint. 😉

I agree with Rudy Saldivar.
It's cool when you use other restored items (Tools) to restore newer items.

A power polisher is a very useful tool. Excellent work giving this one new life!
Thank you 👍
We do not even know if it works or not: no demonstration. Poor form.
Beautiful, I like how you got the colour so close to the original.
Thanks 👍
At first I wondered, "Why isn't he using the bench grinder with the buffing wheel to polish the parts?" Then I remembered that he's restoring it, lol.
Bravo sana tebrikler

5:45 that's a nice make-shift cleaner you made with a pipe hose and vacuum cleaner accessory; also get a bench vice preferably gressel :p

Great job. Love the hammered paint. Was wondering if you made it slightly thinner and did 2-3 coats would it take more abuse. Did you add an "on and off" label or plates?
It would be wrong to thin it with thinner. It is best to do it once. 🤗
another name for it is a lathe for polishing and grinding

You need to do a restore on your drill press

You do it so much better in your videos.
The title says that this a Polish bench grinder but the data plate indicates that it's a Red Wing made in New Jersey. A little help here please?
Could you please copy the title and search for it by typing google.
Rob Wolford It’s a polishing bench grinder, hence the spindle, it’s not Polish as in made in Poland.
@@markharrisllb Sorry. That makes sense.
You could have ran it. I’d love to have seen it moving.
