    This is so far the best video I’ve seen on removing the ECU.

      I can definitely feel the power. Feels strong all the way through the RPMs now

    Is there a way we can get inside without taking off the tank? I saw a post somewhere on the ninja 400 someone was able to get it out without removing the tank.

      At 9:10. The starter relay is on the right side of the screen. Has a gray cap covering 2 wires.

    Any help on error code 21🥹. Bike takes time to start. When it does it runs normal.

    Where did u buy the extra ecu?

  • @shizukodream
    @shizukodream 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    So pretty much don't use your stock ECU and just get another ECU just as a backup or something.... And something goes wrong you can put the stock ECU back in so you can use your warranty or something...

    • @motorich
      @motorich  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you have a warranty. Sure... neither of the 400's I have. Have warranties. Sol

      @@motorich ah....well I just don't know so much....about the euc flash like I'm doing research about it..but I was wondering if there any down side.... because I normally use it on the street and track

    • @motorich
      @motorich  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@shizukodream there is not a "down side" as far as performance. But if the dealer found out. Then it would likely void your warranty. However, you could have the ECU flashed back to stock again if you ever needed to.
      The flash will yield much more power gains than most other mods.

      @@motorich where can I get an extra ecu to send in?

    • @motorich
      @motorich  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Kingnabor you can find them online from bikes that are being parted out. I happened to own 2 Ninja 400's at this time and was able to swap ECU's

    Thanks for the video! Do you need to have the tank empty?

    • @motorich
      @motorich  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The tank does not need to be empty. You make get a little spillage or dripping but it won't be terrible I would avoid doing it on a full tank as the weight of the tank could be a pain to hold up or move. So.. empty tank will be easier but not because of spilling or anything

    • @motorich
      @motorich  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@motorich you dont really have to remove the fuel tank. maybe for bigger guys tho not sure, im fairly small

    • @motorich
      @motorich  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@850Ninjaguy in its stock location. It is buried under a couple things. It is just easier and faster to removing the tank as the ecu is under the tank. You might be able to work it in and out. But 4 bolts makes the process much faster.

      I followed this video and I ended up with an electric socket female side that runs into the battery box spot, I can’t for the life of me find the connecting point for it? Any help?
