- Your Nitro RC Wont Accelerate on the throttle? Well watch this video for 5 tips if your nitro rc is not moving.
I had the same problem on my nitro rc car. The nitro rc car starts, but doesn't move. No matter how much I mashed on the throttle, the rc car doesn't accelerate. I picked up the car and the wheels would move fine, but it doesn't move when I put in on the ground.
Luckily I solved my problem!

I had this problem after I reassembled my 2 speed transmission and it was a simple problem. The one way bearing for the transmission gear was the wrong way, so my engine would spin the gears but the wheels wouldn’t. Dummy me lol
That would’ve driven me nuts !!
My rc monster truck get slowed now when i accelerate and brake that's not moving don't know why
I usually check throttle linkage
Will have to add that to the list!
It didn't help me but I would love if you could help me out I don't know what to do I. Have the same problem in my volcano s30
Check the nut on the spur, maybe its not tight enough or does not hold. Maybe idle is set too high as well? If the S30 has a 2-gear transmission, your first gear might be stripped, you'll have to open the gearbox.
@@JacobusRC my rc ofna wont run on grass it has no power. It runs fine on cement road.
@@americawalk1154 Was it running good on grass before? Most 1/10 scale RCs or small buggy style RCs have a hard time running on grass - Not enough ground clearance
@@JacobusRC It has Hpi k4.6 engine. I bought it used. Some said its clutch issue but i have no clue. Im new to rc.
If it has low ground clearance and the RC is not a monster truck style it will struggle on grass. Most likely it is the clutch shoes and spring that need to be replaced
Hi , I really need help I got my 8 year old son a vantage carnage r c car for xmas, am his mum so not really got a clue, the moter is spinning but wheels not moving, after we took it out on wet grass, it just burnt out to a halt, and smelled a bit burny, got a really upset son and am 300 out of pocket pls pls helppppp
Is it electric? Sounds like the motor may have burnt out or the esc, which you may need to replace
@@JacobusRC yea its electric, it still sounds like its revving, and wen you press the remote, it revs , it sounds a lot more "tinnie" then it did, thanks 4 reply
It may have overheated a bit if it still works/moves the tires after it’s been off. On grass, the motors work much harder to get it moving and will overheat. Hope you get it working!
@@JacobusRC the wheels dont spin round, but the 2 metal coggs still spin round, just the wheel dont? Thanks so much 4 help
@@plainjayne8154 Could be the hex inside the wheel got stripped, missing wheel pin or broken drive shaft that connects to the wheel. you'll need to take the wheels off to inspect
Please please help me my nitro stampede 2wd when I move one wheel the other wheel will not move at all the grub screw are tight and my drive shaft is good and my spur gear is not stripped
Could be that you stripped the wheel hex inside the wheel or the wheel pin fell out

@@JacobusRC so I fix the wheel but my engine just wants to rev up when I give it throttle what can I do
Sounds like you need to adjust the low speed needle or get new clutch shoes. Happened to me too where I give throttle but it just revs, it was the slipper clutch and clutch shoes
