    I have found this video very helpful and I just have to put this step by step into practice. I have a long way to go in getting my new monster truck started for the first time.

    hello i have a 1999 toyota celika gt maybe older idk it was my dads rc car back in the day. Im trying to start it after like 6 years we hade sarted it. now it wont start whatever i do thank god i found this video that might help me make it run again the only problem i think it causes it to not start is the fuel bc it was sitting so many years in a garage maybe it wont have much power idk. I will try the things you sayd to do hopefully it will start?. i will update you if it will start!!!!😁

    Enjoy all your videos, and picked up a few tips from this one too. Any chance of a video about tuning these engines? I can never get mine to restart, after refilling the tank, unless I leave it for 10-15 minutes. Even then it’s a struggle. Use a roto starter.

    Thank you for doing this video.... I have a working glow plug and fully charged glow starter.... I also tried the easy start method but it still won't start... I was worried is was somthing internal like crank shaft or cylinder head😢.
    I did heat engine with a hair dryer. Last time I used it(working) it was off the ground and it sped up turning wheels into pizza cutters... I lost exauste screws and gasket(I replace with new ones) my carnage still won't start. I will test for low compression later. After that I'm guessing a new engine is on the books😢

      If it revs up like that then the throttle is stuck open.

    the do exsist compression tester but its not like with big engine. de compression is not the same every time
    it depends on how fast you turn the engine over and the heat that in the engine is different the compression is not the same ,

    Still having trouble getting my brand new nitro rc started. I checked all these steps and nothing had seemed to work. I just can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong and I’m almost ready to throw it out.
    Fuel gets into carb as I can visually see it going in. I pull the starter quick shirt burst and nothing ever sounds like it’s gonna start. I just keep pulling and fuel just keep spitting out the exhaust with no sounds of it wanting to start.
    I’ve gone over all these tips step by step and just can’t figure it out.

      Have you check the glow plug?

      @@HaggardRC I did and it glows bright orange. I didn’t think it could be that since it’s brand new and it glows bright orange

    I live In the Caribbean so it's always hot here(like summer all year around basically ) should I still heat up my engines before I run them ?

    • @HaggardRC
      @HaggardRC  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nah man it will be warm enough there it'll start fine without any heat.

    Great video very helpful. Quick question can you tell me why fuel is coming from the side of the engine or from the exhaust from the engine 🤔

    • @HaggardRC
      @HaggardRC  ปีที่แล้ว

      Where on the side is it coming from? It might be from under the head if it’s not sealing properly

    • @anthonyrowberry3154
      @anthonyrowberry3154 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for getting back to me it's not from the head I think it's from the exhaust there a black ring I think it's coming from there that's why I asked the question I'm new to the game but loving it.

    • @HaggardRC
      @HaggardRC  ปีที่แล้ว

      What engine is it? It’s normal for some to come from there because it’s only held on by one or two springs. Some are bolts like on the T-15 for example but most others are a rubber seal and springs

    • @anthonyrowberry3154
      @anthonyrowberry3154 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm unsure on engine make i no it's a 21 nover rossi I think it a old truggy hong nor crx c1 if that make sense there it's two springs around the engine.

    Don't suck on the pressure pipe if you have a full tank of fuel, makes you pull funny faces.

    7:04 I prefer using cringe, I then do not need to cram my face to the model and I can see the fuel line easier th-cam.com/users/shortsxbbYzhld-vA?feature=share
