XMaxx turns but dont go forward or back, calibration needed

- My xmaxx 8s truck didn't not go forward or back but it did turn right and left. Before this happned I had left my controller on but turck off and forgot about it and battries died on controller then I went to pay put in new battried but truck did not go forward or back but did turn right and left so I did calibration and it works great now

Thanks it worked! I got a little spooked when the wheels started going top speed, so anyone else make sure the wheels aren’t touching the ground!

You could hear if a drive shaft is broken you hear the motor spinning etc why would you thinks its broken even if your motor is not spinning where is your comon sense mate wtf

It did take me few try the first time u did u can also put the receiver in to bring mode open the box to get to recieved box

This exact problem happened to me with 1/16th e revo, however recalibrating didn’t work so I’m still stuck.
Did u check to see power voltage

I don’t understand, I already calibrated mine, it’s just been 2 1/2 weeks, everything is stock except for new Duratrax Six Pack S tires which I calibrated for afterwards after putting them on. My XMAXX has only been running for 3 sessions until it started doing this after sitting for two weeks, batteries were in good health and taken care of when I was waiting for my tires. It drives then shuts off power and just makes a whining noise when I push on the throttle again. Not sure!

So I have a Max 5 that turns on and flashes but does not have any audible tones and all I have is steering and when I hit the throttle or reverse it just shakes the gears and doesn't move forward or backwards. This is in an outcast 8S with a Max 5 and 1250kv motor
Check ur connections and remove the motor and see if it turns might be jammed bearing on motor or somthing bad itself on motor
whenever i get to the 2 green lights and try to go foward the convery trys to but fails, and before somebody says my motor is broken, its brand new.

I used this it works but I'm sick and tired of my truck doing crap like this every single time I want to use it
It will turn one way not the other, or only reverse, or completely reverses throttle, I press to go forward, it goes backwards, press to go back it goes forward. And it's straight up every single time I turn it on it does something. On my maxx the self righting feature doesn't work right it just blows up my tires, you can't go fast either or it blows its tires its ridiculous
It shouldn’t loose it’s binding and calibration call up Traxxas maybe they know the issue or warrnty u. I know if u leave transmitter on with truck off that’s when it goes crazy
All you have to do is put your throttle trim on the controller back to the 0 setting usually that is right in the middle and it would have worked

I have a Traxxas slash and it will only turn left and drive and I don’t know how to fix it and will not turn right and drive or even drive straight
Luke TheMaster17 check your steering trim ... dose the truck turn when it’s off the ground? I have had problems with servos some times they don’t work or take a hard hit the sensor goes off inside if u want u can try taking it apart and play with the sensor I will send u a link to one of the servo that didn’t work for me then I took it apart and played around with the sensor and it’s been working ever since

what does it mean if after the calibration it only will go forward. the light on the reciever flashes green when you pull trigger in reverse but it doesnt move. there something defective in the transmitter?
Maybe u have it in racing mode

Try testing few things if u have spare esc try that it can even be ur reciever

Steven Golson try again it took me several attempts also make sure ur battery is full in controller and truck also zero out the setting on the controller

@@rcusa201 I bought the Stampede 2-wheel drive I got it work it once I calibrated it it's just so difficult it's pretty cool though I appreciate your video brother you the man hey bro bro I just bought it Timaya Blackfoot lunchbox and I bought the Hornet the comical Hornet 1/10 scale and the Super Beetle four-wheel drive what motors would you suggest aftermarket Motors and pinion gear I forget how that all works how many turns how many teeth all that crap

So my issue is its f flashing green but then when I turn the steering it starts it goes back to normal solid green but then when I hit the throttle a secondary red light comes on and it starts flashing also when i hit the throttle the motor is getting signal but it just like budges forward
I have The same problem but with The wltoys 12427-b and it dosent work do you know how to do?
Try rebinding do the basics check to see if servo turn and u can switch to throttle port on reciever and check if servo works there also
I have the same problem but i habe the nitro 3.3 tho. After my run. All of the sudden it wont go forward or reverse. It wanted to run away but something is holding it. Any help much apreciated. Thanks

@@rcusa201 i figured out It was my ESC that was bad I upgraded to the max 6
Does this happen with arrma too? My granite won’t go forward or reverse but steering works. And whenever I press the trigger, the light stays red.

Take out the esc the wire could be pinched or snapped. If that doesn’t work the esc is toast you need a new one

Have a helon it goes forward only no break its been. Calibrated about 100 times it will reverse only if calibration done backwards
