Great video! I can spend 4 hours washing my cars and detailing them. I find it enjoyable and relaxing. I am surprised that all these years I would clean the wheels after washing the cars. It does make more sense to wash them first. I am also going to switch to the two bucket method.

That's one super clean ride man. Just started getting in to it. Bought some autofinesse products over the weekend. And im loving it. Well most of it. Applying the aqua coat, which i quite like, it gets harder for me to hand dry the car. As it seems im just pushing the water around and not drying it completely, having to use two towels instead which takes me longer to proper dry it out. Sorry if i had any mistakes as english isn't my first language. Loved the video btw 👍

Hi Pan, another great video. Best detailing channel out there hands down. If you are open to suggestions for future video projects, I think it would be really cool to do a video on what can be accomplished on a budget with less high end detailing products. For example 'Detailing on a 50 dollar Amazon/Canadian Tire/Part source budget' :) I think many getting into detailing are inspired by your videos but sometimes a little scared off by the prices of some of the equipment and chemicals themselves!
Although an awesome suggestion, I don't expect he will use anything less than the best products on his own rides, but yes, since vast majority of people live pay check to paycheck, it would make sense to at least include other options along side the best.
To me this video teaches a valuable lesson, now granted I know nothing about your financial situation but what I do see is a man that works hard daily, plus makes these videos and what does he drive? That’s right a super nice, well earned BMW. Young people take note, this is how hard work pays off.

Love this, my car is ceramic coated and never knew the amount of care you have to take washing your cars I used to take them to hand car washes wow! Now I literally jet was my car for a while to blast any dirt of and small participles then start with the snow foam and let that pull anything else off for 10 mins then re spray more foam and use that for a contact wash. I like to do my wheels last then I go over the whole car again with the jet wash then just vacuum dry! Absolutely love it and this is coming from. Someone who would just dust a car down if needed which is also a huge no no 😫🥲

You don’t have to have the most expensive fancy equipment, I got started detailing with only 50 bucks, that was enough to buy the chemicals and tools. Sure a pressure washer and a blow dryer would be better but you can slowly save up for those bigger items
screwstone 713 damn I wrote that comment almost 5 months ago when I first got into detailing, I’ve come so far I own a pressure washer and everything, but from what I can remember I went to Advanced Auto Parts and Walmart and bought 2 buckets +grit guard, car soap, latex gloves, microfiber towels, foam gun, tire cleaner, tire shine, wheel brush, carnuba wax, clay bar kit and an apc (all purpose cleaner)
It's beyond a passion, it's my obsession. Hence why I built one of the biggest car detailing channels on TH-cam. Over 560,000 subscribers, and millions watching share that passion. :). I feel that driving a clean cars feels so good. Plus the experience is soothing for me, I don't consider it work.

Paaaaan, you wouldn't die - you would just get another great car and make new videos for all your fans around the world. Yeah! :-) I love my car (328i xdrive) and take really good care of it aesthetically (using Pan's great videos) and mechanically. But I'm not emotionally attached to it. It's just a piece of metal and plastic. BMW made millions of cars just like mine, so nothing precious. Expensive maybe, but not precious.
Just got my new baby, an 2019 DS3 Performance. I was looking for a wash guide because I’m young and I didn’t took that much attention for my first car (1 cleaning at the gas station/month). But now I want to ‘’pet’’ my new baby, and here’s the video I searched ! I’m french but I understood everything in the video, it takes a lot of time to do a perfect cleaning, but damn, when you finish the work and look at your baby like ‘’ Ahhh, you look better now ! ‘’, so satisfying ! Whaooo i have learn so much from this guy. I thought i knew how to wash a car properly. I was wrong. Not even close. I wish he was here in ny. I would've paid him to give me classes on how to wash cars the right way.
New to soap cannons and such. Step one - spray foaming soap all over car and let it set a few minutes. Step two - rinse off. Step three- spray foaming soap all over car again (don't rinse off), and then use the "same" soap in a bucket to hand wash the car. Step four - dry the car. Step five - add a spray and wax product like Turtle Wax Ice Seal & Shine. Do you also use special pads for the Seal & Shine? What brand of soap cannon do you use? And...I have a gas powered power washer. Is there a pressure that is too high to spray on a car? Min pressure and max pressure? Enjoy your videos and learn a lot. Thank you
You wouldn't apply a protectant like Seal N Shine after each wash, that's overkill as that is a product that lasts 5 to 6 months. After a wash, you use a quick detailer or a drying aid like Bead Maker which I reviewed here: th-cam.com/video/J7uc4AlarpU/w-d-xo.html And if you want to apply a base coat of protection and are using Seal N Shine, you use a microfiber applicator or towel like in my Seal N Shine tutorial here: th-cam.com/video/49DtbUBHMpg/w-d-xo.html For the pressure washer, I always recommend 1000 to 2000 psi to wash cars. I don't recommend going over 2000 psi. I hope this helps, those were a lot of questions. LOL. How did you discover my channel Stan?

So lucky you have your own garage where you can wash whenever you like! , I go to the self wash bays and bring my buckets but gotta do it at night when they’re not too busy, kinda sucks living in an apartment, having nice cars and not be able to maintain them as good as I’d like.

As always. Very nice video & to the point details. Well I am using Carpro PERL also and its over 4 weeks and this product is still there on tires. And here in PK the atmosphere is totally changed and tires have to meet lot of daily challenges too.
Actually really we done. Not to long, nice quality, vocally and visually walks through the process and its nuisances, mentions stuff about his car that might be different to someone else and just an at home feel.

That's one super clean ride man. Just started getting in to it. Bought some autofinesse products over the weekend. And im loving it. Well most of it.
Applying the aqua coat, which i quite like, it gets harder for me to hand dry the car. As it seems im just pushing the water around and not drying it completely, having to use two towels instead which takes me longer to proper dry it out.

Hi Pan, another great video. Best detailing channel out there hands down. If you are open to suggestions for future video projects, I think it would be really cool to do a video on what can be accomplished on a budget with less high end detailing products. For example 'Detailing on a 50 dollar Amazon/Canadian Tire/Part source budget' :) I think many getting into detailing are inspired by your videos but sometimes a little scared off by the prices of some of the equipment and chemicals themselves!

Love this, my car is ceramic coated and never knew the amount of care you have to take washing your cars I used to take them to hand car washes wow!
Now I literally jet was my car for a while to blast any dirt of and small participles then start with the snow foam and let that pull anything else off for 10 mins then re spray more foam and use that for a contact wash.
I like to do my wheels last then I go over the whole car again with the jet wash then just vacuum dry! Absolutely love it and this is coming from. Someone who would just dust a car down if needed which is also a huge no no 😫🥲

The M550iX is an amazing car and crazy fast, 0-60 in a little over 3 seconds. Yours probably came with the Simoniz ceramic coating.

You don’t have to have the most expensive fancy equipment, I got started detailing with only 50 bucks, that was enough to buy the chemicals and tools. Sure a pressure washer and a blow dryer would be better but you can slowly save up for those bigger items

screwstone 713 damn I wrote that comment almost 5 months ago when I first got into detailing, I’ve come so far I own a pressure washer and everything, but from what I can remember I went to Advanced Auto Parts and Walmart and bought 2 buckets +grit guard, car soap, latex gloves, microfiber towels, foam gun, tire cleaner, tire shine, wheel brush, carnuba wax, clay bar kit and an apc (all purpose cleaner)
Love all the time people take to keep their cars clean and yes I keep my 3 series clean as a whistle
It's beyond a passion, it's my obsession. Hence why I built one of the biggest car detailing channels on TH-cam. Over 560,000 subscribers, and millions watching share that passion. :). I feel that driving a clean cars feels so good. Plus the experience is soothing for me, I don't consider it work.

I love my car (328i xdrive) and take really good care of it aesthetically (using Pan's great videos) and mechanically. But I'm not emotionally attached to it. It's just a piece of metal and plastic. BMW made millions of cars just like mine, so nothing precious. Expensive maybe, but not precious.
Just got my new baby, an 2019 DS3 Performance. I was looking for a wash guide because I’m young and I didn’t took that much attention for my first car (1 cleaning at the gas station/month). But now I want to ‘’pet’’ my new baby, and here’s the video I searched ! I’m french but I understood everything in the video, it takes a lot of time to do a perfect cleaning, but damn, when you finish the work and look at your baby like ‘’ Ahhh, you look better now ! ‘’, so satisfying ! New to soap cannons and such. Step one - spray foaming soap all over car and let it set a few minutes. Step two - rinse off. Step three- spray foaming soap all over car again (don't rinse off), and then use the "same" soap in a bucket to hand wash the car. Step four - dry the car. Step five - add a spray and wax product like Turtle Wax Ice Seal & Shine. Do you also use special pads for the Seal & Shine? What brand of soap cannon do you use? And...I have a gas powered power washer. Is there a pressure that is too high to spray on a car? Min pressure and max pressure? Enjoy your videos and learn a lot. Thank you
You wouldn't apply a protectant like Seal N Shine after each wash, that's overkill as that is a product that lasts 5 to 6 months. After a wash, you use a quick detailer or a drying aid like Bead Maker which I reviewed here: th-cam.com/video/J7uc4AlarpU/w-d-xo.html
And if you want to apply a base coat of protection and are using Seal N Shine, you use a microfiber applicator or towel like in my Seal N Shine tutorial here: th-cam.com/video/49DtbUBHMpg/w-d-xo.html
For the pressure washer, I always recommend 1000 to 2000 psi to wash cars. I don't recommend going over 2000 psi.

So lucky you have your own garage where you can wash whenever you like! , I go to the self wash bays and bring my buckets but gotta do it at night when they’re not too busy, kinda sucks living in an apartment, having nice cars and not be able to maintain them as good as I’d like.
