Thank you so much for your video! As a woman, nobody ever taught me anything car related and just encouraged me to let the men handle it but i want to be more hands on with my little Yaris and i found your video perfect. Everything you mentioned is easy to obtain and i don't need to buy all of those hundreds of different soaps. Thank you from the bottom of my heart😊
My fiance taught me a few tricks. Glad I can help! 😊
This video is perfect! Simple and no extra fancy overwhelming equipment. Great job❤️
Glad to hear you enjoyed the video!! 😁
Awesome! Simple and effective, no fancy stuff needed. Thank you Nicole
Glad it was helpful! 😁

Love it. Again, straight to the point!
Glad you enjoyed the video! 😊
Good job! Keeping that car looking sharp!
Thanks!! 😁
Thanks Nicole. Just bought a 2024 Rav 4 hybrid and will follow these guidelines.
I definitely learned a few things! Definitely need to do this to my car 🥰🥰🥰
Yes!! A few simple things go a long way in keeping your paint looking nice 🙂
Nice video, easy to understand and practical.
Glad you found it helpful! 😊
Great info simple and to the point thanks
Glad it was helpful! 😊❤️
📌 NEW VIDEO: Wax Your Car At Home! ➡️th-cam.com/video/4-wlpUtDO6I/w-d-xo.html
Your video popped up on my feed lol I want to get a 2023 RAV4 XLE gas any who
Good job washing your car and good tips!
Thanks! It's the best vehicle I have ever owned. You will love it!! 😁
Excellent video. i will do this to my new car.
Thanks! Keep that paint looking fresh. 👍
I Just like the voice and how she narrates it 🤗
Thank you for this informative and quick video. I was always told to do the windows last but I guess it is not necessary?
I just always work from the top down. 👌
I pretty much do exactly like you did. I like to use my pressure washer. You have to be careful, but with the correct tip it’s fine. Does great job on body molding and wheel wells.
I use a pressure washer from time to time but most of the time I like to keep it simple. 👌
@@Nicole.Sisson I’m in the process of ordering a foam cannon to use with my pressure washer. You and Mat should check them out, it looks like it will be a great tool for washing your car and other stuff too.
@@scottk2774 I'll have to look into it! Let me know how you like yours. 😊
@@Nicole.Sisson I will thanks!
Love your Car.
So cute!
Your car was clean before the wash ...😊...thank you ❤
I never let it get too dirty! 😊
aww... you looked adorable on the step stool Nicole🥰.
I start off with a rinse followed by a soapy wash from a foam cannon.
Then wash it off with a pressure washer followed by claybar... too lazy for anything else 😆
Well you do more than I typically do! 😁
Thank you so much for sharing. Would it be possible for you to share how to deep clean the interior? What products do you use to clean your leather seats?
Great idea! I will definitely keep this in mind for a future video. 😊
Thanks for the Great Video!! Enjoy the Rav4, the car is sharp!!.... . I always forget the gas cap lol
Surprisingly it does get pretty dirty back there. It's a great looking vehicle 😁
As a woman who sometimes doesn't feel like waiting on my boyfriend to clean my car , this was very helpful. Thank you
Glad you found the video helpful! 😊
wow, pretentious much?
As a man who sometimes glad he isn't dating such an entitled woman, this was very reaffirming
Aww man all the memories flooding back of washing your car in your front yard with dish soap 🧼
I have learned my lesson 😆
Thanks for the video! Do you have any tips for cleaning the inside? For example any cleaning products for hard plastic and seat fabric.
I use 303 protectant, also sometimes just a microfiber with water to wipe things down. I'll have to do a future video on this! 🙂
This is great!
Show us how you wash your car during winter pls.
I pretty much do the same thing, it's just a little tougher to get it dry. 👌
Good job / Thanks
Glad you found the video helpful! Have a great rest of your weekend. 🤗
Nice video! Do you plan on keeping the RAV4 in the near future or thinking of switching to something else? Would love to get an update video on how you’re liking the car!
I plan on keeping it for a while. This is a 2 year update video here: th-cam.com/video/E5KVO-Y08uc/w-d-xo.html. I plan to make another update video soon 🙂
@@Nicole.Sisson awesome! Can’t wait!
What I do to prevent scratches from dirty wash mitts is to buy several wash mitts. Also it’s faster as well since I don’t have to spend time washing the mitts in between. After I’m done I toss the mitts and the microfiber towels in the washer and then tumble dry
Great video but I do this an always accept for one thing I don’t use the 2 wash buckler method because I have the bucket with the little dirt holder thing that’s inside that traps the dirt
I've seen those! Does it work well?
Thankyou!
Glad you found the video helpful! 😊
Great video, thank you. I would like to see a video about waxing the car. I finally have a car worth caring about and want to keep it looking good.
Regularly washing and waxing will definitely keep your paint looking nice! 😊 Here is the wax video: th-cam.com/video/4-wlpUtDO6I/w-d-xo.html
Tysm for this video. For the past two years I’ve gone to a car wash and I feel like the paints slowly coming off.
You’re welcome 😊
simple & practical!👍
Glad you found the video helpful!! 😊
Thanks ! Do you mind sharing details of products you used?
Yes! They are all linked in the description. 😊
Do you use the 2nd bucket for cleaning off the dirty debris from washing it with soap?
Yes, always give the mitt a rinse in the water bucket before dipping it back into the soap bucket! 🙂
Towards the end, do we apply wax before the car dries ? Thank you for the video
Not a conventional wax but the spray as you dry wax, yes! 😊
What year did you brought this suv and do you have any problems with your suv and I love your suv
I purchased the vehicle at the end of 2019 and haven't had any major issues. It's been a great vehicle! 😊
which product do we we use to remove basic small black dot from bug or pollen without carwash at the time , thanks
McGuire's quick detailer spray and a microfiber. 😊
I recommend hand waxing after a good wash. It makes it easier to wash in the future.
Agreed! I do this a few times a year. The spray on wax is just used in between wax applications 🙂
Windows up. Dish soap hasn't shown up any issues for me over the years. It's mild and cheap.
Always start with wheels first. The dirtiest part of the vehicle. :) Good job!
Maybe a dumb question, but how often would you typically do a full wash like this? Depending on conditions, once a month in the summer, or up to once a week in winter
It really depends on how much driving you do and how dirty your vehicle gets. I think a good rule of thumb would be once a month.
VERY SMART!
&
BEAUTIFUL ❤️..... IN GOOD SHAPE TOO😍😍
Just wondering after soap application should you rinse off before applying wax application
Yes!
Awesome 👍🏽. Came across this video for some car washing tips at home. Watching this from India 🇮🇳
Glad it was helpful! I have a car wax video coming out later this week!! Stay tuned. 🤗
@@Nicole.Sisson sounds good 👍🏽
I got a good tip from watching this video
Thx for vid! Would like to see how you wax your car too.
Stay tuned over the summer! Waiting for it to warm up a bit. 😊
Lookin good Nikki!!!!
Wow your so organized lol
I try to be, our garage has gotten out of control lol
Can someone post the name of the thing to dry it??
Can you give me a list of the materials needed to clean my car. Thank you!!!
I have all of the products that I used linked in the description! 😊
After starting on the top, for each section should I rinse and then wipe or wash twice
Wash & Rinse one section at a time. 👌
Do you have ceramic coating applied to this car?
No ceramic coating. I had a PPF installed- full hood, full fenders, full front bumper, door edges, door cups and rear luggage cover.
How long you had this suv and do you have Bluetooth and power steering
I purchased the vehicle at the end of 2019 and yes it has all of the above! 😊
How much soap
I would love to see how you wax your car, and also how you clean the inside of your car.
Cleaning the inside would be a great idea for a follow up video. 😊
Here is the car wax video! th-cam.com/video/4-wlpUtDO6I/w-d-xo.html
How did you clean the glass?
Just wash it like the rest of the vehicle. Unless you meant the inside?
@@Nicole.Sisson can you do a video on how to wash the glass on the inside?
@@rafirahmani8718 I will keep this in mind for the future! Thanks for the idea. 😊
Did you put ceramic coating?
No. I just wax a couple times a year.
Do you put spray on wax on wet car or dry car?
Yes as you dry it! 👌
Whoever is keeping that car wet is doing an excellent job!😎
😍😍😍
😂😂😂😂😂
How much time it usually takes for you to wash your car?
Probably 30-45 minutes. 😁
The other big issue with car washes is the dont clean those agitators so anything that was on the previous vehicles will get rubbed on yours
Agreed 👍 I try to avoid them at all costs!
What can I use if don't have hose?
I would go to a local self service car wash. 🙂
I always wash little sections and then rinse to ensure no soap is spotted on my truck.
That's the way to go! 👍🙂
Never take it through the car wash? Whatabout if its winter?
I've done it before but I usually try not to if possible. 👌
How about a video on how to properly wash a car using a pressure washer?
Maybe next summer! 😁
I like your car. How much does it cost?
Thanks! 😁 I was able to get OTD under 42k.
Hi sister I am from India, let me know the difference between car polish and wax ??
Hey there! A polish will remove minor scratches/imperfections and a wax provides a protective layer. 😊
@@Nicole.Sisson thanks for sharing valuable information ,if u don't mind may I add u at FB or WhatsApp 😊,?
@@Nicole.Sisson what you think about "Wurth Product"
Thank you I just save $40 every other week
Glad I could help! 😊
I’d like to see your car wax video❤️❤️❤️
I'm actually going to be working on a car wax video this week! Stay tuned. 😊
That's crazy.
You didn't mention how many microfibre cloths used to dry the car. If you keep using the single microfibre cloth it's obvious that there will be streaks. Also you did the drying all the way last for all parts?! By that time the car will be dry
I use one large microfiber to dry the vehicle and the car stays wet until I'm done drying. 👌
nice one, but the thing is, it doesn't really matter where you wash it, as a mechanic, what really matters in the long run is the buttom end of your car and the engine bay. I've seen countless cars with shiny outside but terribly rusty lower end and extremely dusty under-the-hood area. Those dust and rust are gonna eat up your frames, connectors, screws, brackets and a lot more, costing your more money you've saved from DIY washing your cars
I try to wash under the car and the engine bay a few times a year. How would you recommend going about it?
@@Nicole.Sisson common household water hose will suffice. Try using regular flow instead of high pressure because the force is gonna let moist into the connectors. cover your battery poles and alternator when you wash the engine bay. Do it every few month to half a year. I live in a place with a lot of snow maybe that's why I saw too much rusty cars.
@@tianic Thanks for the advice 🙏
False. It absolutely matters where you wash it. A crappie automated car wash can damage your paint as stated in this video. That being said, washing the undercarriage is also advised, and safely washing engine bay is ok also. The methods are not mutually exclusive to each other
Honestly invest in a pressure washer , it’s life changing
Yes we do have one and I use it sometimes. Thanks for watching! 🙂
Oh nice
I don't get this, you covered the vehicle in plastic? You could have put a ceramic coating on the vehicle or used a ceramic turtle wax. Sometimes less is better, in the cruel hard north when the temperature is just above freezing we take a 40V Worx power washer with a 5 gallon pail on rollers and just wash off the salt, sand and grime off with warm water. Just so you can read your license plate, the headlights and tail lights can be seen. Or you could just put snow in your micro fibre cloth and scratch the mud off the plastic and glass. The problem is most presure washers break when they're stored below freezing and most people don't heat their garage so they're useless 6 months out of the year. The Worx cordless power washer can be stored indoors, you just slap on the batteries and you can wash every car in the block.
I do a lot of freeway driving so I invested in a paint protection film for the front of the vehicle. I like the idea of ceramic coating but it would provide very little protection against rock chips.
I’d like to see a video on how you wax your car that doesn’t have loud background music playing.
Thanks for the feedback 👍
Music volume was totally fine!
If you look really closely there’s a car getting cleaned
1:58 "Remember to follow the contour of the body"
Oh I'm following it
😂😂😂
snks
?
Wax please
I'll create a wax video this summer when it's a little warmer. 🙂
Nicole your butt is amazing. Thank you for sharing
Dont wash your vehicle with Dawn soap that’ll just destroy your paint in the future.
Agreed! 👍
Wax on wax off
Wax it
Wax it please
Nice body and figure
Do you drive barefoot
No. Do you?
I am your car I’m dirty I need another wash and I need gas
Haha it’s not about car washing it’s about self posturing 🥴
Why is this Woman driving a Man's vehicle.
I find RAV4's to be quite feminine. 😆
