I use Woolite to wash my microfiber towels. It was also recommended for polypropylene and Gortex cold weather gear issue by the military. The main reason to use Woolite was it didn't clog the fabric pores. Excellent job on the video.
PPE rule I learnt from engineering, if you won’t drink or eat the product - wear appropriate gloves. If you’re not using the product as your eye drop - wear protective googles. If you won’t listen to the machine as music in full volume - wear ear protection. If you won’t use the product as perfume - wear a suitable mask.

We're all just ignoring that #7 says "Start washing from the roof and work to the wheels," and then immediately after that #8 is Start with the wheels. We're letting that go? Ok.
I bought a new truck a couple years ago. Always followed Pan's recommendations and approved products. I went to ceramic coat my truck last week. Checked the hood for scratches and swirls with a detail light. Nope . None. Thanks to Pan's tutorials it looks as good as the day it rolled off the car lot.
I bought my dream truck last year, but just getting into detailing. It's a 2018, but previous owner left a ton of swirl marks on the paint. Paid a detailer, and I was hoping he would help. Let's just say not all detailers are created equal. My best bet is to learn myself, but I'm a tad overwhelmed... Pan the organizer certainly helps.
Great tips Pan! Your videos are helping me getting through this tough time. Unfortunately my Grandpa passed away on Wednesday and watching your videos has truly helped me out so much! Thank you Pan, for easing my pain and sorrow🙏🏻
Thanks Konsta! And please accept my most sincere condolences for your loss. It's never easy to lose a loved one, so I'm glad to hear my videos can help get your mind off things for a few minutes.
Pan, Another excellent informative video. One tip to convey is when using a power washer ALWAYS test the sprayer away from the vehicle when changing tips. This will ensure that if the attachment is not securely locked in place and you apply the trigger the attachment will go away from the vehicle preventing any damage from occurring. Joyeux Noel
I've definitely done this. Luckily, I had it pointed away from the car. All I had to do was spend the next 15 minutes searching through the grass for where that tip went. 😂
@@PanTheOrganizer My tip for washing a vehicle is to use the 'two bucket' method. Fill one bucket with a cleaning solution and the second one with just straight water and nothing else. Saturate your cleaning cloth with the soap solution from the first bucket and apply it to the vehicle, then when it's dirty rinse it in the second bucket that contains only water and squeeze out the cleaning solution that has become saturated with dirt and grime from the vehicle. Then dunk the cleaning cloth back into the bucket with the cleaning solution and continue. With this 'two bucket' method the cleaning solution doesn't get fouled with dirt as much as it would if you only used one bucket. This method is especially good for any very dirty cleaning job, not just for washing vehicles.
Great tips. Immediately address bird droppings and bug guts. I always carry a quick detailer and micro fiber in my car for these occasions. Then I wash the car the first moment I get.
Agree. A Gallon Ziplock bag with a couple of towels and a bottle of spray. EZ to do. Can put the soiled towels back in the bag till you wash them. I have been having great success with McKees N914 Mixed at 1:128 for those - ERRR / Man, not again moments.
Hard to do in south GA. I just do it once a week. When you drive at night here in the summer, the bugs absolutely cover the grill and hood. You would be scrubbing every single day.
Great video as always Pan! One detailing mistake I learned was during the claying process, do not apply so much pressure. Another mistake I learned was do not detail a new fresh coat of paint vehicle. Must let the clear coat dry for at least 3 months.
Great video. My tip: To easily remove bug splatter just leave a soaking wet towel on the front of your car for 10-15 min. This will soften up the bug splatter so you can remove them with minimum force during pre wash .
Just want to point out that dust-masks won’t really protect you against fumes (which are vapor molecules). Vapor goes right through dust masks, which are meant for filtering particulate matter. If you’re dealing with nasty vapors, a cartridge respirator for chemical-filtration, and/or good ventilation exhaust fans for the area are your best bets. Love your videos!

Good afternoon, Pan. I have no words to thank you. I carefully watched the video. I wrote down every detail. You have excellent teaching skills. His "classes" are very well illustrated and the content is excellent. The impression I have is that you are a meticulous and thorough guy. That is great! Now that I have just defended my doctoral thesis in Medical Sciences at the State University of Rio de Janeiro, I can resume my hobby. I will definitely be watching your latest videos to update my knowledge. Pan, you are one of the people who has helped to write the history of automotive aesthetics around the world. I don't know if you have this perception, but this is a fact. Thank you so much for all the content you've been sharing with us. I wish you and your family a blessed and successful weekend. Waston Ribeiro - São Luís do Maranhão - Brazil
Congratulations on your thesis that is a big step Waston! I am proud of you! (I have studied in medicine myself, molecular biology and biochemistry, so I know all the time and effort you need to put in that field!). Have wonderful holidays, a merry Xmas and all the best to you and your family!
Good night, Pan. Thank you very much for the words of appreciation and congratulations. I was amazed and happy that you are interested in medicine, molecular biology and biochemistry. A researcher with his attributes and virtues is sure of success. Thank you very much for the feedback. A happy Christmas to you, your family and your brother. Waston Ribeiro
Excellent video-- learned a lot! Some other 'notable mentions' might be: Don't use only one wash-bucket. Always use a dirt-trap in your wash buckets. Don't use the same bucket to clean your wheels, that you're using to wash the body.
Hey Pan, Kevin here in NJ, USA. I just purchased my dream car. 2019 Challenger in Blue...THIS video and all the others I've watched on your channel are absolutely awesome. I've learned SO much from your videos that I apply them to my new vehicle purchase. Everything I've done in the past was totally wrong, but I've changed my car detailing ways since subscribing to your channel. I've invested in alot of products suggested by you...foam cannon, micro fiber towels, detail sprays and more. I literally used a foam cannon for the first time today using the Turtle was wash and it was amazing. Thank you for putting out these videos because I can assure you that those that listen, learn alot...as I have. My neighbors actually were in awe on how my car looked today using the products that YOU suggest. I'd love to share a photo of my car if you'd provide me with a way to do that. Cheers to your success in both the car detailing market as well as this channel. Big fan here! I'm considering starting my own detailing biz on the side to generate more income. Thanks again Pan. Cheers!
Hi Kevin! Wow, thank you for this great feedback, I really appreciate it. The main goal of my channel is to share my knowledge and passion with you guys, so when I hear that I've succeeded in my mission, it puts a huge smile on my face! :) Also, congrats on getting your new Challenger! It's always a great day when we take delivery of our dream car, is it not?? Like a kid in a candy store. What would you say is the video on my channel from which you have learned the most new tips and tricks? If you want to share a picture, you can always share some on your Instagram page if you have one, and tag me. Or perhaps post some on your Facebook page and tag me. I receive thousands of messages daily as you can image, so not sure if I will get to see it, but who knows!
Well, notably this particular video, also the Rag company micro fiber video was another great one. Pretty much all your videos are great, in my opinion. I was doing it all wrong all these years..lol. Ill work on getting some pics together and post them soon. Cheers Pan
I have my towels sorted into tiers. Tier 1: paint safe towels. Tier 2: jam towels Tier 3: wheel towels Tier 4: shop towels. As new towels are used, over time they work their way down the list. Starting "paint safe" and ending as a shop towel before being tossed.
Excellent video, full of great information, Pan! The one that stands out to me is #3 ….. use the proper amount of product and do not over apply!! The old adage of “if a little is good … more will be better” is definitely wrong. This is a tough habit to break 😞
I’m going to try starting to wash my wheels and tires first. I always saved them for last bc they were the dirtiest and washed my car from top to bottom like you said. I’ll see how it goes. Thanks! I unfortunately have a black car and it drives me nuts! Breath on the paint and it scratches! lol
Great video Pan!! Always informative!! My couple of suggestions are never wash your car while intoxicated, try to wash your car when you are alone. Having people around, having conversations with them can possibly distract you while you're applying certain products on your car. Happy holidays to you and your family Pan!!
Ok. I learned SO much from this vid I have to save it potentially watch it before I wash my ride again! I have a pretty high end car and am neurotic about it. I do about 75% of these tips….but I’m guilty of using a chamois….and a few other no-no’s. Thank you. I LOVE this consolidated vid of tips! 🌹
Great video thanks Pan. My top tip to add to yours is use an in-line water filter when rinsing the car, especially in a hard-water area, then there is no need to touch the car's paint after washing it. If I have the time, I then use a blower to blast-out any trapped water which would otherwise drip for hours or stay trapped in recesses and channels. The filter I have been using for many years can be re-filled (by me) with new resin beads, usually once a year, and looks a bit like a large fire extinguisher.
Good point. I have a video on my simple water deionizer setup here: th-cam.com/video/IKNL1chAQXY/w-d-xo.html That gives a spot free car wash experience every single time. 0 ppm of minerals in the water. I didn't know half of these when I bought my first new car last year. I'll admit I've still made a few of these mistakes, but I've learned a ton watching this channel.
Same here Joe, I like to let the surfactants in the soap loosen the dirt and debris so it comes of with the first rinse. I’ve personally found that my wash bucket is a great deal cleaner when I’m done washing. I’ve even gone back to one bucket washes because of this (do wheels last with same bucket) as a time saving method and have seen no I’ll effects as a result.
@@roadfert Here's a suggestion. I do what you do; however I only use a wash bucket to store my wash mitt's prior to me using them. I have I think 8 mitt's that I pull out of the bucket one at a time and wash one section of the car say the hood, then set that mitt aside and grab another to wash another section. That way you're never dealing with dirt in the bucket.
@@troycarls4839 thanks for the suggestion. I’ve heard of that before and maybe it’s time I give it a shot! I’ve got a toddler in the house so my detailing time has to be super efficient! 😂

Hi Pan, great video, for those just starting and reminding the pros. My hack, is I hate seeing people that dress their tires and their bottom of the tire never gets the dressing. My hack, if I'm not taken into the wheels off or putting on the quick jack, I put a 1"x6" board under each tire, indented to allow me to properly clean and dress the tire. You and your family enjoy the holiday season.
Keep inspiring! My hope is to inspire others like you one day. I started my mobile detailing business at 16, currently 17. I hope I can inspire other like you one day hopefully that works out. Thanks!
@@PanTheOrganizer I recently posted a video where I told the story of your inspiration to me and how much you affected the process. I hope you can check it out so you can hear of the effects you are having on others by hearing my story specifically. Thanks
Your videos and videos of others brought up good memories when I was regularly washing my vehicle, about 15 years ago. Prices were different, products too. When I clicked on the links of the products you recommend, it is easy to get lost in abundance of them and by prices. I let car dealer wash the car after service, however a couple of years ago I stopped going to them and do maintenance myself. It means I haven't washed my car for a long time. I want to start washing my car again however I live in the apartment. I will get necessary stuff from your recommended list and I also recently received a portable pressure washer. Hope it is better than using a garden hose. Really appreciate your effort in sharing your experience.

Once again, Pan, a well done, informative video. This should be classified among your "intro to detailing" or "detailing basics" videos. Great overview and reminder video.
Very informative and fun to watch a detailing expert explain things. Was doing most things right, luckily. Was unaware though of the drying aid and also of the various types of microfibre cloths and towels for specific tasks. Will also pay more attention to tyre degreasing. Will soon start regularly using power washer and foam cannon (seems like fun to use) with Meguiars gold class shampoo. Thanks for the tips.

Foaming glass cleaner works great as a universal interior cleaner (ALWAYS use tint safe glass cleaner. Non ammonia based) It is designed to leave a streak free clean and evaporates quick. Plus, if you use a foaming one, I’ve found it useful in lifting stains out of upholstery/carpets
I love the vids especially about bird droppings I spray it on let it dwell a few minutes and wipe with a wet cloth carefully.i also just spay the bugs down front and mirrors with water to remove bugs and use a detailer after a little road trip thanks for the tips craigger
Can you create a video the best applicators to to use and where? Example should I use a suede applicator pad on the windows or is better use them on the paint? Is suede better than microfiber on the paint? Adams has suede applicators I’m on the fence on purchasing
Pan, let me tell you a story. Over a period of time, a chameleon made the roof of my garage its sleeping place. During the day he stayed in the trees in the garden, but at dusk he hid on the roof of the garage. Every morning I had to remove chameleon droppings from the car roof. The chameleon became so well known that he was given a name: Steban. Finally, Steban fled to my neighbor's garden. I think he liked his garage better. I lost a friend, but my car thanks to this day!
Tip 20 is most important. We purchased a used car which I thought was just dirty but it was bugs that had caused permanent damage and the only remedy was repainting the hood and bumpers. Fortunately, Bert Smith Subaru in St Petersburg, FL did an amazing job. It looks like a factory paint job and they did an unbelievable job paint matching.
A tip I use when drying my daily driver is I use a drying aid and then I take my car for a quick spin around the neighborhood and take it back home and use a waffle weave drying towel. By the time I drive it around the block most of the water just sheets off. Works great every time!💦✨
I would hope that everyone watching would know tip #7, to wash from top to bottom. My mom taught me that when I first started driving about 10 years ago and I never forgot it. Great tips you’ve shared though! I’ve been loving washing and drying my car lately!

I detailed at a car wash for 2 years and did probably 100 + ceramic coatings. Bottle always says do not get on skin or inhale fumes yet they do not provide gloves or masks 🙉🙉🙉
Yeah very few brands provide gloves (Gtechniq has some in their kits normally which is good) and even less brands provide masks. I guess that would drive the costs of the kits and so they try to keep product cost lower...

Hey Pan, great video as always. What would be your recommendation methods and tools to clear snow off our vehicule for us living in the snow belt ? Merci! Plaisant de voir un québécois avoir du succès sur la toile ;)
Hey Pan, great video. One question, assume I have partial PPF installed and whole car ceramic coated, how frequent should I do a paint decontamination, like iron removal etc? I'm from a country without 4 seasons. Basically it's just sunny days or rainy days.
That's my recommendation too. And to that I would add "as needed depending on your level or iron contamination. If you have a car with high performance brakes and steel rotors (like BMW, Audi, Mercedes) that generate tons of brake dust, perhaps once very 2 months is good".
I have to disagree with you concerning always using a PH neutral soap. When a car is driven in the rain it picks up chemicals from the roadway, and these will not be washed off with PH neutral soap. It is then that I use Purple Power to wash the car. Yes, I understand that this will strip off whatever synthetic "wax" I might have used like Turtle Wax, but it is easy enough to recoat the vehicle. For normal washing for a car that has not been driven on the highway when it is raining, I use a PH neutral soap.
When it comes to cars that are protected via ceramic/graphene coated, the PH neutral soaps are (in my opinion) more than enough. In all other car paint protectants, I'd agree with you.
Alkaline shampoos are good once in a while, especially during winter months, as they can help remove road grime, road salts, and buildup of dirt a bit better, but I still wouldn't recommend using something like Purple Power for every single maintenance wash as that's too harsh and will dull the finish if used too often. For people who wash their cars like me twice weekly, all you need is a good pH neutral shampoo. Ceramic coated cars make wonders of keeping cars cleaner for longer.
Thank you, I’m pretty good about auto care but I had not given any thought to the care of my microfiber towels. I just threw them in the wash. Thanks for the heads up. I’ll be getting new ones keeping them dedicated and washed properly!
Solid tips Pan!....small tip - buffing or polishing paste tyre dressing after application - (like one does with shoe polish) to keep the product lasting for longer...using a soft brush... (this tip also ties in with using the minimum product required)....also one should pay attention to the front and the back of cars as they are the dirtiest parts of the bodywork - the front from incoming pollutants and the back from the turbulence of passing air.....finally i also saw a video where magic eraser/scour pad was used on external glass surfaces to remove bug sap and water spotting

I am fairly new to your channel and busy watching as many videos as I can. I came across this one dated 12/2021. Here is my tip. I had the hardest time removing water stains from my non tinted car windows. I used MDR (mineral deposit remover). The MDR did a good job at removing most of the stains but you could still see their outline. I then used a moist foam pad with a little Bar Keepers Friend and scrubbed the surface. I was careful not to get any BKF on any car surfaces except the glass. Boom. The stains were gone. I was left with windows that looked new. I don't know if it would work on tinted windows and I won't try it unless I know it is safe. I did have to reapply BKF a couple of times to completely remove the stains but they did come off.
Damn! that's a great tip! I wouldn't use BFK on the tint side, but the glass side will handle it fine. I have an old windshield and I couldn't get it as clean as I wanted till I used #0000 fine Steel wool w/ an acid based cleaner. I never thought of using BFK for that application though!.
Living in the Midwest salt belt, AKA Rust Belt. It is pretty much impossible for most people to avoid going through automated washes in the winter months. I do agree with staying away from any type of brush wash though.
Clicked immediately. Starting my own business I already know what to do. I need to learn what not do to so I don't run into problems down the road. Thanks, hopefully I get something out of this!
Working OT this morning and now I have something to do! Pan thank you as always for filming in 4K , what microphone set up have you been using? The clarity of your audio is literally TV production quality
Thanks I appreciate the positive feedback, and glad I can help make your time on OT pass by quicker! :). I have two high end wireless lav mics I use in my videos: either a Sennheiser AVX digital system that records into a Zoom H5 external audio recorder, or like in this video, a Tentacle Sync Track E wireless lav mic with built in recorder. :)
Some great tips. I didn't realize household window cleaner was bad for the car. I thought all micro clothes were the same. I didn't know that the cleaning stuff was affected by freezing conditions or it had a shelf life. Thank you very much.
My tip is trying to stay organized. The more clutter in the cabinets makes it harder to find stuff and I felt like I was spending more time looking for bottles and towels etc . So I recently downsize my closet in the garage to only have limited things that I need
Excellent tips! Especially the contact car washes. I cringe when see those brushes and flaps of material hitting the paint! I have to admit I used to use one of the car dusters.🤦
I’ve found doing paint correction at night with very bright construction lights can be helpful in seeing the work esp on a white vehicle vs the day time.
Love your videos Pan. I'm new to car detailing and have always enjoyed washing my cars (the prep starts a few days before with checking the weather and letting my wife/kids know ! - takes a few hours to vacuum and wash - very soothing) Anyway, my top-tip is I start with cleaning the windows and windscreen (front and rear) once I have the shampoo on the car. The windows are key as I don't want any little bits of dust/dirt from the top of the body onto the windows. I then rinse my mitt and clean the roof and work my way down to the bonnet and door panels. I always clean my wheels first then apply shampoo :-) Great tip also is to use separate mitts for upper and lower body. Thanks Pan and love all the comments :-)

1 thing about the first tip: a squirt of dawn in a spray bottle full of water is fantastic for cleaning interior pieces that get touched a lot such as the steering wheel, because these items are covered in grease
This is specifically for those who are detailing for a customer/client. Clean wheels and shine tires first. I’ve found that doing MOBILE detailing the customer will often times come out after I’ve been cleaning for about 45mins to an hour and ask “how’s it going”. Doing wheels/tires first gives them something to see for progress/instant gratification. Even if ya have to to a slight wipe down at the end again, it’s still worth the added feeling boost it gives the customer.
Wash your wheels first, yeah, learnt that the hard way 😂 Use a drying aid when microfibre drying, will remember that for next time although when I washed my car last the water started to turn to ice as I was drying when the sun had set, so I left it 😬 Thanks for the tips, off to watch more of your car cleaning tutorials now

awesome tips, i definitely learned a couple of things. i would always leave tires last using the same buckets that i used to clan the car so the water is slightly contaminated, but its tires so i didnt care. I did realized it takes very long to wash my tires almost as long as the rest of the car, by that time the water on the car is already starting to dry. Doing tires first now makes sense, with a dedicated smaller bucket for the tires.
Great tips. If I'm doing any polishing or coating, I'll soak my used towels in a bucket of water with microfiber soap immediately after use. I find it really helps keep the towels clean after washing them.
Pan I'm proud to say that I have learned from the best (you). One thing I realize I wasn't making was to use a drying aid, I will implement that on my washing routine Pan, you should make a video about how to properly clean and detail a wrapped car I haven't seen a lot of information about it now that I wrapped one of my cars. Best wishes
Wow ! Merci.
When cleaning glass, i wipe in one direction on the outside and 90 degree of it on the inside, so if I see smudging i know which side I didnt clean well 😄
I learned so much from this video and will soon be watching your other videos. Unfortunately I can’t afford to take my car to a detail shop every time it snows here in Utah. They pre salt the roads before a storm and major salt dumping after or during a storm. I don’t have a garage so basically my only option is using the touch less car wash to keep the salt from destroying my undercarriage and paint. I wish there was another option. 😢

Summer time there is a lot of road construction and tar that my white car picks up. I found that wd-40 works the best at removing it...even better than goo gone.
Thank you for the informative tips. You mentioned not to use dish soap as it can harm a clear coat and strip any previously applied paint protection. What would you suggest to safely remove any previously applied paint protection if I wanted to prepare for the application of Graphene Ceramic Coating
Stripping shampoos alone aren’t enough to ensure 100% removal of previous protections. Only machine polishing can do that. What stripping shampoos do is start the breaking down process of older waxes and sealants. I like stripping shampoos like McKee’s 37 Coating Prep Shampoo and Adam’s Strip Wash.
Another super informative video from the most helpful detailer on TH-cam. My tips - Dont rush and think one bucket will be fine, its not worth it. And dont buy tons of products which will just confuse you in the end, find a few you like and use them up.

Great tip regarding using a clay bar on the glass to remove additional and embedded dirt, that otherwise would remain, even after regular cleaning. I will do this prior to applying a ceramic coating, to achieve a better result.
Yup! The more time you spend preparing a surface prior to applying protection, the better the protection will perform and the longer it will last. Watch how I prepped a windshield for a glass coating application in this video: th-cam.com/video/usdM-TrT7fg/w-d-xo.html
When washing with the two bucket method, my son and I have gotten into the habit of wringing out the wash mitt twice. You wash a panel, wring the mitt before the clean water (rinse) bucket then again after before you scoop up more soap from the wash bucket. Hope that makes sense.
I got a quick prep kit in my trunk at all time. I keep a micro fiber and a spray bottle with filtered water and ECH2O mix just to deal with bird poop. That's stuff is like a IED on your clear coat.
Thank you so much for the information. I have been using the wrong type cloth to dry my cars. Jumped on Amazon and purchased a good micro fiber drying cloth. Thanks for the micro fiber cleaning tips too.

One of the best tips I have found is to use a cleaner like a dust a degreaser made for car paint before you wash it. All those little scratches and swirls in the paint show up from micro dust and debris particles on the paint. When you wash it you scrub it around like sand in your cleaner. Do this with darker cars and it will look a million times better.
Very interesting, I have been cleaning cars for 60 plus years, 30 in the motor trade, agree with most of what you suggest. My range rover now 10 years old and paintwork sparkles still, have had classic cars too. UK and now New Zealand

✅ How to wash your car: th-cam.com/video/7Koj5j2Es5U/w-d-xo.html
Hi Pan the paint seems to scratch more in direct sunlight as well.
I love the way you explained it Gautam!
Been detailing my own ride since the mid 70’s and never used PPE. Ain’t dead yet!!

Dont wash your car with a hangover. You may pass out when cleaning the wheels!
Awesome!! :)
I bought my dream truck last year, but just getting into detailing. It's a 2018, but previous owner left a ton of swirl marks on the paint. Paid a detailer, and I was hoping he would help.

Great Tip
Great tip!
Just one? I have at least a 1/2 dozen in the trunk and a few in the doors
Hard to do in south GA. I just do it once a week. When you drive at night here in the summer, the bugs absolutely cover the grill and hood. You would be scrubbing every single day.
@@lesterparker1594 'Gyeon Wet Coat' helps some. Cleaning at Wash Time a bit easier. Butterflies. 😧
Great video as always Pan! One detailing mistake I learned was during the claying process, do not apply so much pressure. Another mistake I learned was do not detail a new fresh coat of paint vehicle. Must let the clear coat dry for at least 3 months.
Thanks Ryan!
Great video. My tip: To easily remove bug splatter just leave a soaking wet towel on the front of your car for 10-15 min. This will soften up the bug splatter so you can remove them with minimum force during pre wash .
Thanks for sharing
This works with breakfast cereal on any surface too, no need for knives.
Thanks for the clarification!

Well, notably this particular video, also the Rag company micro fiber video was another great one. Pretty much all your videos are great, in my opinion. I was doing it all wrong all these years..lol. Ill work on getting some pics together and post them soon. Cheers Pan
For those that maintain their vehicles regularly I recommend replacing your towels and washing pads mitts twice per year.
I have my towels sorted into tiers.
Tier 1: paint safe towels.
Tier 2: jam towels
Tier 3: wheel towels
Tier 4: shop towels.
I agree! Thanks for watching Randy and have happy holidays!
I’m going to try starting to wash my wheels and tires first. I always saved them for last bc they were the dirtiest and washed my car from top to bottom like you said. I’ll see how it goes. Thanks! I unfortunately have a black car and it drives me nuts! Breath on the paint and it scratches! lol
Yeah I could never own a black car it would drive my OCD to hospital levels! HAAHAH
I do the same thing! Always clean my wheels last with a separate bucket and wash mit.
Great video Pan!! Always informative!! My couple of suggestions are never wash your car while intoxicated, try to wash your car when you are alone. Having people around, having conversations with them can possibly distract you while you're applying certain products on your car. Happy holidays to you and your family Pan!!
Thanks Chris! Happy holidays!
"No distractions" is a super hint!
Thanks Wonder Woman! :)
Good point. I have a video on my simple water deionizer setup here: th-cam.com/video/IKNL1chAQXY/w-d-xo.html

I like to foam the car, let it sit a couple minutes and then rinse it off, foam it again and do the contact wash
Exactly what I do mate
Exactly what I do as well.

Or you can just move the car back
Just roll the car a quarter turn of the wheel. Then roll it back.

My tip is Never miss one of Pan’s videos!👈🏻👈🏻👈🏻
“Pan The Man!”
YESSSS!!! :)
Word to live by! Smart man ☝️
Can you create a video the best applicators to to use and where?
Steban sounds very sweet! Just love those lizards. Please send him to TX! We would love him😊
Tip 20 is most important.

Hi Pan,
Just wanted to let you know that everytime I want advice, I look at your channel for it. Because you always explain properly and in detail for me to understand. I also use try and get the same products that you recommend on your channel and I've never been disappointed.

How did you discover my channel by the way?
@@PanTheOrganizer Well, my name is Paul :) but anyhow, TH-cam has been recommending your videos for a while because I search for how to do things myself to care for my vehicle. I am glad that happened because I can finally follow someone and watch how to properly care for my Jeep and be proud of it!
I think your channel is the only channel so far that TH-cam has been recommending me that I actually enjoy and its a great recommendation
Please no don't put your hand in front of your pressure washer this can slice and blister your skin!
1. I love using dish soap before I plan a entire detail clay bar, polish, wax.
15./16. Are my favorite tips
same when i’m doing a decon wash i use either r a dish washing soap or a strip wash
Hey Pan, great video as always. What would be your recommendation methods and tools to clear snow off our vehicule for us living in the snow belt ? Merci! Plaisant de voir un québécois avoir du succès sur la toile ;)
Thanks Yan! I have made several winter cleaning tips videos, including this one: th-cam.com/video/XmM2NzAlrts/w-d-xo.html
I must know what product that is you are using in 2:48 idc what it is the color and consistency means I need it please and thank you!
Tip 21: be rich so you can afford to do everything the right way
@@BeReady726 that's one stupid way to see things.
Of course, the gentle pre rinse is a must. Fine droplets to cover all panels then lightly hose at low angle.to push off the loosened surface dirt.
Hey Pan, great video. One question, assume I have partial PPF installed and whole car ceramic coated, how frequent should I do a paint decontamination, like iron removal etc? I'm from a country without 4 seasons. Basically it's just sunny days or rainy days.
Every 6 months, about every 4th month if you drive on highways a lot.
That's my recommendation too. And to that I would add "as needed depending on your level or iron contamination. If you have a car with high performance brakes and steel rotors (like BMW, Audi, Mercedes) that generate tons of brake dust, perhaps once very 2 months is good".
Thanks, Pan. Great reminder for those living in colder climates...don't leave your products in the garage for the winter.
Unless you have a heated garage like mine hehe. ;)
Thanks! Here’s my popular microfiber towel cleaning tutorial: th-cam.com/video/t_ryfGlkE9I/w-d-xo.html
PPE is a lie! I always eat a little of my detailing products to make sure they’re safe for my car ❤️
LOL
Great tip use gyeon wet coat on wheels really helps keep them clean
;)
Solid tips Pan!....small tip - buffing or polishing paste tyre dressing after application - (like one does with shoe polish) to keep the product lasting for longer...using a soft brush... (this tip also ties in with using the minimum product required)....also one should pay attention to the front and the back of cars as they are the dirtiest parts of the bodywork - the front from incoming pollutants and the back from the turbulence of passing air.....finally i also saw a video where magic eraser/scour pad was used on external glass surfaces to remove bug sap and water spotting
Solid video....one common sense thing I do is to not mix up my buckets. I have a dedicated wheel bucket and the other is my paint wash bucket.

Thanks! And soon you will see another major video on my channel about starting a detailing business. So stay tuned!
My pleasure! Glad to see that you enjoyed the video and learned many things too! 👍🏻
Love your tip about PPE. Did not see any other bloggers talking about protection. You are the best!
I appreciate that!
My tip is trying to stay organized. The more clutter in the cabinets makes it harder to find stuff and I felt like I was spending more time looking for bottles and towels etc . So I recently downsize my closet in the garage to only have limited things that I need
👍🏻

@@PanTheOrganizer I finally have a car worth cleaning properly and searched TH-cam for some decent tips and came across your channel
Good tip for mobile detailers Andrew!
Thanks. @@PanTheOrganizer I commented this before I saw you say do wheels first too ha
Great minds think alike.
Wash your wheels first, yeah, learnt that the hard way 😂
Use a drying aid when microfibre drying, will remember that for next time although when I washed my car last the water started to turn to ice as I was drying when the sun had set, so I left it 😬
Thanks for the tips, off to watch more of your car cleaning tutorials now
I knew you were in Montreal the moment I saw the French signage in the car wash. :)

I concur! I rarely if ever watch any locals from Montreal area, until now! And what a top quality channel thank you Pan
awesome tips, i definitely learned a couple of things. i would always leave tires last using the same buckets that i used to clan the car so the water is slightly contaminated, but its tires so i didnt care. I did realized it takes very long to wash my tires almost as long as the rest of the car, by that time the water on the car is already starting to dry. Doing tires first now makes sense, with a dedicated smaller bucket for the tires.
There you go! Always clean wheels and tires first.
Great tips. If I'm doing any polishing or coating, I'll soak my used towels in a bucket of water with microfiber soap immediately after use. I find it really helps keep the towels clean after washing them.
Pan I'm proud to say that I have learned from the best (you). One thing I realize I wasn't making was to use a drying aid, I will implement that on my washing routine
Pan, you should make a video about how to properly clean and detail a wrapped car I haven't seen a lot of information about it now that I wrapped one of my cars. Best wishes
Thanks Jorge!
Wow !
Merci.
When cleaning glass, i wipe in one direction on the outside and 90 degree of it on the inside, so if I see smudging i know which side I didnt clean well 😄
Awesome 👌
Good tip!

@@PanTheOrganizer Thanks, I will watch your polishing tutorial. Thanks again

Thanks for the tips Pan my bru! You are truly saving the cars of the world. One detailing video at a time.
