My strategy so far has been to buy booster packs, toss the cards with the biggest numbers in, and then sort of stumble my way through until I either win or lose, and as soon as I know I’m going to lose, hit “Restart”, and repeat this process until I can either brute force it with a good hand, or I just get lucky. That’s been effective in Kalm anyway, I’m sure it gets harder as you get further on. I accidentally won a match yesterday. I honestly just did that much because it was attached to a Tifa side quest though, I’m not sure if I want keep it going or not.
So far the best explanation of how to capture opponents cards and explanation of how to raise the pawn numbers. I must have went through 7-8 videos talking about strategy and not one mentioned exactly how do you go about doing those two things. Mind numbingly shocking how many people just want to create a video first for clicks and views and not really explain anything but just show off their victories.
This was great, thank you. Queens Blood seems to be another game like Fort Condor that I have already fallen in love with. I’m such a sucker for these side games when they are done well. Maybe one day Square Enix will give us a full game of both of these. I still think about Fort Condor all the time. I feel like they would at least make really good mobile games.
tbh i just played HIGHLY aggressive, by playing to take up all the spots THEN worry about points is what got me most of my wins lol, managed to get 34/0 on thorin on first try just by blocking him off before really setting up (i did get lucky with cards that round tho lol)
This is one of 1st side quest when starting Chapter 2. At first, I did the side quest to play QB but without a little attention to it (I want to win ASAP). But now, I got attached to it! Now still looking how to utilize level 5 card, it is interesting!
I feel I've been lucky with this game so far. I have an aggressive deck. Push to control pawns real early. I used to lose because I worried about "base set up. Now I fight for the middle columns and then backfill. Works for me still, I just did the golden saucer matches.
The starter deck is actually pretty insane, you can easily win matches with minimal effort and changes up until ch7. Just be sure to use titan and the chocobo and mog card you get early on and you ean easily win by focusing on board control.
Am I the only one who can't scroll through and select a different card? I cant even get past the tutorial, unless its controlled by something other than the d-pad or joystick?

That’s the strategy I used on to win the tournament on the cruise ship and it worked. I’m here to actually learn how to play now lol
So timely. I slipped the tutorial of Queen's Blood and definitely got a cold shower when I faced my first opponent 😅 Thanks for this , Man

1:10 about pawn numbers, raising them, and capturing enemy pawn spaces.
Quick note, the game ends when both players pass their turn in succession, you don't have to fill the entire board.
Thanks for the video

Didn't like Fort Condor that much. This is much better though.

Thank you for explaining the pattern colour
You’re welcome 😊

I saw the clip in the middle of the night and it freaked me out

Great video very helpful thanks, I didn't enjoy this mini game at first but it grew on me quickly. (Still don't like gwent xD)
Any tips on how to best Thorin for the tifa side quest? Is it necessary for me to buy all the cards in his store? Thanks
Great video! Just writing that you may want to re-edit this. At 3:35 you repeat the same sentence twice.
Thanks for letting me know!
I just want to play ff7... wtc
mini games are getting wild
I think it lets you skip the tutorial
@@BacklogBattle I mean just playing them to get rewards
I love this mini game. I really love winning cards but not losing cards ha.
Thankfully your opponents can’t take your cards!
@@BacklogBattle no reloading save files over and over like triple triad! Have a nice weekend.
generally speaking, a low ranking card with a ton of pawns in its pattern is something that you’ll want to keep an eye out for
Mm..but why I couldn't choose my cards !!???
Good video deserves more likes
Ned is kicking my A$$$$$$$$ 😑
I'm too stupid for it, I have to put 1's and 2's down but the oppenonent can put a 1 and follow it up with a 6? how??!/!?!
That’s not the pawn cost of the card! That’s the score!
