Friendly Reminder that this is a Beginner Video Guide on Queen's Blood the Game. This was never intended to be a Guide on Decks Strategies going over each and every card. Please Enjoy this Free Video.
Not sure if you teach for a living because the way you explain things and provide rationale on why you would/wouldn't make a move but man, I appreciate this video. I watched two before this and they talked through it all so fast but now it clicks for me. Thanks for making this video!
I get this comment quite a bit when I do more instruction based video content; unscripted teaching. I don't teach for a living but have been told by many on this platform that I have a certain style and cadence in which I explain things that resonate with most. It's very rare when I receive an actual compliment of merit in my videos so I very much appreciate your kind words.
My current deck: Ignilisk x2, Sandhog Pie x2, Heatseeker x2, Chocobo and Moogle x1, Tonberry King x2, Dio x1, Gigantoad x2, Grandhorn x2, Yin and Yang x1. The main cards in this deck to build around are the two Tonberry Kings as they are boosted by your other cards being replaced or destroyed. Have changed this deck up through the game but Tonberry, Ignilisk, Heatseeker and Chocobo have stayed throughout and has seen me through the whole game (aside from specific challenges). Have fun guys, this game rocks!
I’m using a replacement deck for the most part, sometimes I use a sacrificial deck. There are a few cards that I use constantly, either cause they give great coverage or they pair well with the other cards that I’m using. Some cards I find are excellent for early game onwards. Chocobo that is shown in the video is one of em and if you can build a deck that boosts other cards it only gets better. Generally my strategy is coverage first, synergy with other cards next, and points on card last as I can use my deck to boost the points so my cards are often lower points, easy to get out with maybe two or three higher grade ones. I love this mini game and definitely one of my favourite additions to Rebirth.
Thank you so much for this, I watched it and I understood everything it awakened my third eye. I played a bunch of matches and I won all of them, appreciate this 🙌🏽
This was a good primer for the early chapters, I will try to share with some streamers... I'm currently in the mid game, and I was very confused towards rank 5 with destruction card mechanics and playstyle. I have countered this by going heavy with the many power up cards that are available later on and so far have done really well. If this gets anymore complex, we'll need more vids from you OK 😅
Definitely search around YT for Deck Strategies - this guide was meant for the basics and the importance of blocking out Rows/Columns quickly so you can take control early on. More advanced Tactics would be to get cards that are lower in Pawn Count (1's and 2's) with Enemy Punishing attacks that lower their rank etc. I didn't have time nor the bandwidth to go over Decks etc so I made this Beginner guide instead and judging from the low views on this video I doubt I make another one. My wheelhouse is my Combat Guides which I will be making more of after I beat the game; I'm just now in Chapter 12 with 104 hours of playtime.
I stuck with the starter deck just making constant minor adjustments to it as I got new cards keeping with a ‘team buff’ strategy and won pretty much every single game I played until the final opponent
Yeah for me it's the middle row and for others it's top or bottom. The point of the video was just to teach controlling a row early regardless of top, middle or bottom. I think there are several winning strategies which is great.
@@oxfordking for sure, it’s a good video because it teaches the fundamental strategy and thought process of how to give yourself the best chance to win.
@@mw5885 Thanks yeah I already had to block a few nerds who were butt hurt that I didn't go over my deck and the cards I'm using... they completely missed the entire point of the video which isn't my problem whatsoever.
I am having an issue with promotion quests... have 6 defeated with green check marks but saying I'm sitting at 3/6 from finishing the original starting quest. All 6 opponents were defeated in Kalm. Since this is a guide did you experience this? great job breaking down the game.
This didn't happen to me so I'm afraid I don't have a direct solution to your issue - only thing I can recommend is check the Open World Map progression off to the Left of your Screen where it shows your QB Completion; look for one's that are not complete and double down on those.
@@oxfordking thank u and learned a lot from ur video. Was already doing the strategy of down middle lowering chances of opponent’s progression. However, learned a few new strategies and understanding of the cards thanx to this video. Appreciate content creators like yourself providing videos like this
Soon, I'm not done with the game and I'm still unlocking combat in Folios. I'll be doing Yuffie, Cait Sith and Advanced Guides for all the others I did.
They do if you have a certain card that raises all on the board - I don't play this game today but I went hard on Queen's Blood and defeated every difficulty.
Well, your tactic isn´t bad, but it´s not very good either. I would advise you to stay in the first two lines till the enemy has markers in the third line that you can take away from him. Besides that mainly use 1-2 point cards and no 3 point cards (except the one that gets better by destroying your or your enemy´s cards) Use cards that destroy (or weaken) enemy cards or replace your cards and cards that get stronger when cards are destroyed. Especially in the late game, this is op because the enemy will constantly destroy his own cards.
I haven't lost a game yet with this tactic - I would say it's pretty damn good to me; this video was meant to a beginner video guide to teach blocking out columns and rows early on rather than pinned up on the wall from the start. This was never meant to be a video on which cards to use and why - too many cards in the game, too many variations of playstyles. My time editing would be moot. But I'm happy you commented so that viewers can see other strategies here; thanks.
of course there has to be a forced card game in this JRPG...hate these with a burning passion edit: I should add, good beginner video nonetheless. Now I'll never play this again.
Yeah at first, I hated this game and how much it was forced on us well - I really did - then one day in the middle of my stream there was a cutscene story around Queen's Blood which piqued my interest - glad I learned the game and went the extra mile to see the story. I ended up really liking it. Thanks for the kind words on the beginner vid - appreciate that 👍
the card game just copy from the witcher 3 - the open world climbing tower just copy from Far cry games - "the scanning" so boring like starfield... the mix between action and ATB not that good. ff7 rebirth is not original just a mix of games put into blender. base on the sales of ff7 rebirth, to see such a dip from P1 to P2, the only good explanation people didn't like FF7R P1 so they didn't pick up rebirth !!!
Bro what? The cardgame is nothing like Gwent, what the fuq are you talking about? Just because the concept of the Minigames existed before doesn't mean it's bad. People these days ...
@@oxfordking Not sure, maybe complaining about the game on your video will somehow magically turn the game into something the above Karen/Kevin enjoys. If not, at least they were able to get their keyboard warrior on for the day. Time well spent, naturally.

Normally I might have avoided this, but since there's a backstory to the cards in the game I'll have to go through it.
Yeah I'm going to start doing them when I see them - altering my deck as I go. Already changed my Deck 4 times since this video. So many cards.
I love this card, i wish they do a stand alone game on this where you can play against other players online
@@matthewtonna1 there kind of is. Queens Blood online. Search for it on pc or phone and you get all cards but wait times can be super long
