• How To Build A 7 Inch ...
Ended up crashing and ruining my Rekon fpv 7" frame and couldn't get parts in time. found this Foxeer Mega 7 LR frame and it actually works better than the Rekon 7. longer body and slightly smaller "wheel base" flys great with bi blades.

you know you dont have to use 2 switches to make a redundancy. you can use logic switches inside egdeTX to have it not disarm if your throttle is not below a certain threshold..
why would you go into angle mode to land? Just land in acro.
He needs a new one mommy
Why would you switch to angle mode mid flight lol? I cant comprehend that
Would you still buy the Rekon 7 or do you prefer the Foxeer after 4 months? I can't find any print files for mega 7 but there are plenty for the Rekon
Nice video. I had the exact same mishap with my Reckon 7 (disarmed instead of switching between angle and airmode), luckily it didn't damage any of the frame parts, just the antennas. I later moved the fly mode switch away from the arm/disarm switch, and conditioned disarming with minimum throttle.
I always put those on opposite sides of the controller I keep arm disarm then turtle mode on one side and changes to my flight angle mode etc on the other side
What is the max available stack hight on this frame please?
Thinking of getting back into drones with a 7" LR, the Foxeer frame is one I was thinking of grabbing, its been years since I last flew them (BF was on 2.1 or 2.3), just dunno if I should stick with analog for now since I still have my old goggles or go DJI or Walksnail, I can get the older V2 DJI goggles for good price but I'm not sure if there compatiable with the new o3 air
so..why did you like that frame more?
Great video man! I think I'm gonna buy one of these frames! That Foxeer Mega looks great. And I 10000% agree with you, nothing more annoying that frame manufacturers using 5 inch bodies with 7 inch arms and calling it a "Long Range" frame. Like where are we supposed to mount our packs!?
Here in the UK they are sold in one of our main FPV websites. They also sell a 5 inch versions
how hot does your 03 get?
I did some modifications to my radio, and then went to fly without checking everything really well. I accidentally disarmed mid flight and it is still in the top of a HUGE tree.
Building a Rekon 7” pro frame now . Putting HDZero in it. I learned to have my arm switch pushed back instead of pulled forward. Luckily I landed the wing ok. More like a controlled crash.
Hey man, when you got into FPV, did you start with BNFs or did you just jump into building your first drone? Are there any BNF long range drones right now that you really like?
Hi, I have the same problem with disqrming during flight and I don't know how to fix it on transmiter. It would be great if you could share how exactly you set it up. thanks
Did you do anything special with the compass orientation since it is not flat on this frame, but angled down around 10 degrees? I'm watching Painless 360's video on "How to setup a compass in INAV when it is at an angle?" video and cant find the "sweet spot" for my compass so that it doesn't drift around when I turn my quad while the quad in connected to INAV.
Angle mode/ air mode GPS all for me are on the right.
practice and learn how to land it in Acro mode, don't switch it to Angle mode. Yeah these frames are out of stock from RDQ, Pyrodrone doesn't sell them. This is why FPV is an expensive hobby, just ruined a 100 buck battery just like that. I also don't like the 2 long antennas sticking up, since it's the first thing that will break when you land upside down.
