Two Easy Takedowns for Self-Defense

If you have to defend yourself then you ABSOLUTELY need to know how to grapple. Part of grappling is having a few tried and true takedowns in your back pocket. These are two my favorite takedowns for self-defense because they are relatively easy to perform -- as long as you train them of course.

Hmm I must say I am not to sure about the first one... don't like the idea to have to follow the other guy down in self-defence... I really liked the second one though :)

I address that in the second takedown portion. There was more, but I had to cut it out. Depends on the situation though. Sometimes you may need to establish dominance on the ground. There is no script.
