I Bought a 2024 CVO Road Glide ST Harley-Davidson

- My CVO Road Glide ST finally came and I take it out for its "maiden voyage." This is the first time Harley-Davidson has made an "ST" version of a CVO and I can easily say it's the first time we've seen a true factory performance bagger shipped from a major motorcycle manufacturer. I go over my decision process of deciding on this bike to replace my beloved 2018 Street Glide Special. There's a lot of modifications I plan on doing to the bike and so I go into my future plans for the new motorcycle.

Hey Matt, I was at the remodeling grand opening and could not help notice that you seemed very happy. Now I know why. Enjoy be safe and congratulations.
Haha. Yea, I suppose the new bike had something to do with it.
You my friend, are living the dream. Congratulations.
Whats dope is we finally get to see you get a bike and be just as excited as your customers and viewers who have also got there bikes! Awesome bike!
Like a kid in a candy store 😁
@@MattLaidlawcongratulations Matt! That has to be the best looking CVO ever
Spot on 🤘
I got my CVO ST in black in March best Harley i ever rode...
Congrats Mat, this is the best Harley channel on the tube. Wish we had a local dealer like Laidlaws.
Thank you. That means a lot. This channel has a lot of my blood sweat and tears into it.
Congrats, Matt. Thanks for all the content, looking forward to the build.
Really appreciate your no nonsense approach, candidness and transparency.
For a dealership owner, you’re as unbiased as you can be.
That’s exactly what I shoot for. I’m glad it comes across that way. Thanks man
Congratulations Matt.. All the best
Thank you !
Congratulations! I love mines… I traded my 2023 breakout for it! No regrets
Nice Congrats
The pipes look great. I wouldn't change the exhaust. Congrats. The bike looks and sounds awesome.
Congrats man! Looks great. Remember I recommended a year ago or so that you do a drawing so that one of your viewers takes a ride with the Laidlaw crew! Do it!
Congratulations!
Got mine over a month ago. Same color.
Already swapped seat for 2 up and added sissy bar. Also ordered rinehart dbx 45 slipons PVD (same color and finish as headers of the ST). For now using Harley 12” windshield. Works great for me at 6’1”.
I think I am done for now….for a week or two.
Nice. The rineharts are a good idea especially if they match the header pipe. What seat did you go with?
@@MattLaidlawI went with the Saddlemen Road Sofa (perforated leather with red stitching and logo. ) Looks great with red on the bike and really comfortable.
They also make an extended seat version as well. I think you mentioned you are 6’6”…
I first tried the new Harley switchback. I did not find it comfortable…just OK for short trips.
Oh, man that bike looks so good. Love the black ST. Congrats!!
Congratulations on the bike. Looking forward to more content and rides.
Congratulations Matt! She's a beauty. Looking forward to your build. Picked up a 2024 Street Glide a few months ago and am loving it.

Congratulations Matt on your first CVO! You can never go back.
Wow Matt, that is the best looking bagger I've ever seen. Congratulations

Damn, super nice. Looking forward to the build series.
Congratulations welcome to the CVO ST club! Best always!
Can't wait to see how you build it out. I just put thrashing bars with high bend bars on mine and it feels great now. Love my 117", cant even imagine how awesome your motor feels
Nice Matt !! Congratulations on your new ride !! To many safe miles to come!!💨💨💨🏁🏁 regards from Spain
Thanks Dennis 🤙🏼

Awesome bike Matt! Can’t wait to see what you do with it. Heather says hello, we still watch your channel and look to replicate some of your rides.
Congrats brother!👍🏾
oh hell yeah, congratulations Matt!
Congrats on the new Ride, Matt! Ride safe and enjoy!
Congratulations Matt! Enjoy your new bike. Super stoked to see you excited about the ST.
Congratulations brother!
The Jekyll and Hyde exhaust is something to consider because you get the best of both worlds
I currently have 3 bikes. They are just too hard to part with! My favorite is my 2002 FLSTS, Heritage Softail Springer. Then I have a 2001 Road King Classic, but the one I ride the most is my 2015 CVO Street Glide, in the Ultraviolet Blue and Magma color. I love it! I bought it in 2020 from Chopper Gallery in Temecula, CA and had it shipped to me in New Mexico. Congratulations! I love your videos.
Hi matt .
Congratulation to your new cvo bike . It looks absolutely outstanding . I love the paint job as well .
Looking exiting forward for your review of the bike and all the trips you will do in the future .
Always good and savely ride 🤙.
Best regards .Tommy from Germany
Beautiful Bike, Matt. A big part is making it your own. Sometimes it seems to never end!
Congratulations Matt! Gone from the StormTrooper Glide to the Darth Vader Glide... "the Force is strong in this one."
👊😎
Congrats on the new bike!
A new Harley means a trip to Sturgis…
Hah! Yea, I think I gotta do Sturgis again now. Darn.
I can't wait to see what you do with this beautiful bike! Like you, I have always been an SG guy, but the re-design of the 24' RG meant I just had to make a change, so I traded in my 21' SG Special. I lost money on all the upgrades on my old bike, but I gained a tremendous amount on the new bike, including more power in the 117-inch motor, 12-inch TFT, redesigned fairing, and edgy lines! Got mine from Sacramento HD in the new Whiskey Fire!!
Big respect keeping the 18 SGS as long as you did considering you own a dealership - enjoy the new bike!
I love to see you cheesing man. I was the same way when I bought mine and still am a year later. Congratulations!
Congratulations and best of luck on the new Road Glide CVO ST. I'm stoked for you and the new content it will help you generate including the build series.
Excellent choice Matt! I came to the same conclusions two months ago. You will not have buyers remorse! Every time I ride mine I love it more. Cheers!
Yo! Congratulations brother! Stoked for you about your new horse and looking forward to seeing how you modify the new honey dripper! 🎉🎉🎉
that bike is just sik, so beautiful. especially love the front end Brembo brakes and that rotor, just nasty, i love it! well done sir, can't wait to see what you have coming!
Beautiful bike Matt. Congrats!
Congratulations Matt, that is one bad ass bike.
Congrats Matt, I miss the old vids of you doing bike checks of your customers and shops rides.
I still do those videos. You miss the old way of editing or what do you miss exactly?
Congrats! Such a great looking bike. Hope you have many great and pleasurable miles!
Matt I bought the white one and change everything as well. Seat, floorboards, bars, king tour, relocation of the rear shocks, and windshield. I also kept the exhaust, but changed the baffles. Good luck
Congratulations Matt. It's a real beauty. I'm definitely looking forward to see what you do with it. Enjoy. 😎🤘🍺
That's dope man! Congrats! Still need to come and check out your dealership
Wicked scooter Matt. These 2024s are killer bikes, especially the Road Glides. I swapped over from the streetglide last year, and just got hooked on the 24s.
Looking forward to what you do with the bike man. Enjoy the new scoot
Thanks Jason.
@MattLaidlaw I know I'm loving my 24 Whiskey Fire. Got the Rockford sg2 and some Khromewerks mufflers.
absolutely loving mine! It pulls to 3grand so easily with that sprocket change they did
Can’t wait till the break-in is complete and I can really open her up.
Congrats, Matt! Looking forward to see the touring version of the ST. The motorcycle equivalent of a grand tourer(GT).
Hell yeah, that's one hell of a bike....can't wait to see the mod videos!
Yes Matt! Keen to see what you do!
Remodel on the building looks great! Bike is even better. Do yourself a favor and get that thing PPF'd! Congratulations dude, you deserve it.
Thank you. 🙏 PPF’ed?
Congratulations wish you all the best with your new bike. Stay safe and loud pipes do save lives.
The massive grin says it all so happy for you brother
Thanks man. I’m pumped.
Heck yeah Matt! Stoked for you man. Excited to see everything you do with this bike; looking forward to the content. 😎👍🏼
Thanks Anthony. I’ll be doing a lot of rides on this bike.
Awesome! Congrats! And remember, keep it below 3500 RPM for the first 500 miles! 😂
That's actually not right. On the cbr forum a guy shows when he breaks a motor in his way, and the factory way, races two bikes for a season then pulls the pistons, factory break in was all carboned up, and his way was spotless silver. They say first 20 miles 20 minutes is the most important to seat the rings etc, or it will cost you up to 30 % of your available power. Edit: that guy, at the time had built, and broken in over 300 race engines.
@@WolfinWolvesClothing713 Guess ya missed the laughing emoji….the 3500 rpm for first 500 miles comes from owners manual…
@@WolfinWolvesClothing7133% maybe. That’s it. Kevin Cameron has all the actual data on this. Truth is in between. Pressure. Heat cycles.
Congratulations Matt! Enjoy your new ride! You look awesome on it! I am very happy for you! 😊
Congrats, Matt, well deserved and one of the " sickeST" Harleys ever.
Thank you! I'm Pumped
Congrats Matt, enjoy it!!
Congrats, Matt! Looking forward to watching your build. I enjoyed watching the Storm Glide build in 2018. I hope that bike found a new home.
The storm glide went to a great home.

Congratulations Matt !

Can’t wait to see what you add to your new bike
As an owner of one I’m looking forward to see how you accessorize your new ride! Congrats.
I'm 6'4 and the best thing I did was put one of those LaPera daddy longs legs seats on, made a big difference in comfort. Looks like a beautiful bike, cant wait for the full review.
Congrats on the new scoot! Love the channel!
I'm really looking forward to your comments on the differences between Road and Street Glides, since you're very familiar with the street glide. Can't wait to see how you build it out.
